This is no joke! For the past month now our pet birds who are always covered at bedtime will sometimes wake us up screaming, sometimes they are out of their cages which are both well secured and the cover, a simple beach towel is flung off. One time the beach towel was neatly folded in the farthest corner of the room. My husband has 'the sight' meaning he can see others at times on 'the other side.'

On two separate nights/early AM's is more like it he saw a young woman dressed in 1920's clothing and directed me towards her wherein I stretched out my arm to point in a circular way, he says I went 'though' her torso which scared her and got her to flee opposite me and him.

The other time a child dressed in 1940's clothing with a bow on her head was spotted by him, he pointed towards her and I waved (unable to 'see') he says she waved back and skipped through the wall.

What I'd like to know is, what can I do to encourage my ability to 'see' these things and maybe help these apparitions to appear more clearly-we told the little girl to be nice to the birds before she skipped out. My husband has been trying to help me by doing things such as getting me to 'view' in a sideways fashion and even hiding around corners which I can sense. I told him that maybe his very dark brown eyes are a big part of his ability to see like this(we've speculated that he sees a broader spectrum of lightwaves), he has excellent night vision and no need for glasses whereas I am blue eyed and quite nearsighted and have only seen a bright light that we both witnessed go through one wall of the house.

PS:we both hope whoever or whatever is letting the birds out at odd hours never brings them outside!
PPS:How do I move this post to another forum such as Psychic? I wasn't sure where to place it since what is going on is rather unusual; of course there's more that is going on in our home which my husband experiences periodically-for myself, the only other thing was coming into our kitchen which we both know our stove was shut down for the night only to find one burner on and a few things moved around where they were not before. My husband is Native American and says 'He Knows vs. Believes' and he takes it 'in stride' since it is just a part of how things have been since childhood-even stuff like having a dead cousin reveal himself to him and an aunt who 'has the sight' poking fun and saying how incredulous he was that so many would show up to view his body in a coffin-this is truly a good look at as husband says 'the fact that we live in parallel universes and everything is a unity that is present but not always apparent to perception.' Together we choose not to give a name to our world views, we share many of the concepts that are considered pagan and our philosophies are basically to accept what is reality as it reveals itself to our limited human perceptions.
