I swear to Pete and Sam Hill men can be such cry babies!!

One of the guys at work found out that I do indeedy bite.

he was sent on a pick up and could only whine and cry and try to figure ot where the other driver was. I was out to lunch and the poor gal covering for me ws so pissssed she was F this and F that and just going off. I cauoght the tail end of the convo with him. I took back over the phones and got a inhouse buzz form one of the admin gals that I had a driver in a tizzy on 2. She had picked up expecting an admit call on that line. I took it and he was going ranty on me. I sold him. Don't worry about Pat you worry about you. Go pick up this one, go get that one and get one with the rest of your day. What someone else does isn't your problem, doingf what we ask is. so go get them NOW! I had the gals in the other office, and my old 'boss lady' who had popped in, laughing theri asses off.

Later I had to call him on another pick up, and he even thanked me 'for taking charge.' LOL I swear the guy is bipolar!!

Not gonna play these dudes fuckin games. I'll bite and they'll know I won't too!

Life is good. Because I say it is! LOL

Happy Aniversary Bear 11 years is outstanding! Way to go...if you have any advice on a long-lasting marriage...perhaps you should begin an advice column? I would ove to hear what works for the both of you.....I have been with mine for 15 years. Somedays I want to love the shit out him, others days kick the shit of him. Life is delicious when you are married, eh? Bear you are always so supportive, caring and compassionate... the White Buffalo Woman!

Novia. I adore you...you know that. You are indeed one of the most gifted and strongest "old souls" I know. You and I go back years....and every day I am blessed to know you. You go girl. I know what you can do to someone when you are pissed...lol...and I am so proud of you and what you did!! You are the da bomb! Athena would be a good deity to look into...I think you two have something in common!

CM, I feel very deeply about the Immigration issue....I have known and worked with immigrants....so I have very deep feelings in regards to how much this is going to cost us. I also feel for the immigrants and how difficult and also what a proud folk they are...and extremely courageous....gawds don't get me started....
You are my Sister, a professional verbal assinator, and a powerful Earth goddess. I have been gifted with such wonderful plant babies from your sharing and love....my garden is spectacular....I free seeded some of the poppies and others I have in a patch, and the pinks I planted everywhere...I have a multitude of plants coming up...I am so excited....you rawk!

Alora...Dear One...you are going to move mountains and souls with your artwork and your wisdom.....amazing you are....you have gifted us and helped our Muses to sing and dance and play.....I love your creativity and playfulness.... Glad to hear things are quiet there this morning...sometimes being alone is a gift in itself. Hang in there with the mil...there are some lessons in this for her...altho I think a 2x4 across the ass would help her more...lol...stabnd strong...you'll be fine! Tell us what happens on June 11th tho...it should be some pretty amazing stuff...I would check ahead and see what the stars hold for that day...sometimes it's helps us glean a little better understanding of what to expect.

Freedom, congrats on your parents 50th!! Outstanding....I love to hear that folks can be married that long...it takes commitment, love and endurance...and most of all Respect...they mucy love each other very much!! Let us know when Skye's results come in....we are all here for you.... and you know that! It's good to see you here too...not too bad for the clothes....I am always in long jean skirts and t-shirts...I love being relaxed and comfortable....I can't imagine how much things are at the mall here...we have the woman with the bee-hive hairdos and inch-thick makep here....I am sure they spend 100's and 100's in clothes! VERY creepy women on sundays!! That's when they wear their "Sunday's finest" even down tot he extraordinary hats....it's like Easter every Sunday. I always go grocery shipping while everyone is at church...lol

larc, best wishes on the data entry work..it seems when we find a niche, thats when the Universe rewards us...so be prepared!! Think about it...you will get what you ask for! That's absolutely awesome....doing something you live can make you so happy! I sure could use going to the gym, and understand your leg pain....dang all of us have something or another breaking down....lol...we all were so hard on our bodies in our younger days...you are in good company!! I would love to lose about 30-40 pounds..seriously!! I have lost about 12 over the last couple of months, but now it is a plateau and with all the eating that goes on around here with both of my men at home..well...it's a bad thing...lol...

Raevynkiss, good to see ya!! Remodleing is an awesome and rewarding thing to do with these old houses...we have done it a couple of times..and I tell you what....baby steps...make each room absolutely perfect and once you begin to see the home become a place of love and a part of your souls....you will be such a changed person....the energies of our homes when we help them to breath, and bring life back into their "bones" well...you can't beat it! I want pics....yes I do....

I don't gt to reply to this thread much...I need to...I feel bad about that. Hello and I apologize to any of you I missed...it's off the work on the Apothecary and some other projects I have in the works...have a delicious day....and

Hello to everyone,I"ve been away to long. But the most random thing happened I still can't believe it,I've been a stay at home mom for 19 years, and a few weeks ago my Dr. asked me if I would consider working in his office, well of course I said yes.I'm having WAY to much fun,I love it,and I had'nt realized how much I missed it.I work back office and the days just fly by,my husband and daughter are so very supportive,I feel blessed.I'll try to visit as much as I can but by the time I get home I'm so tired,I'm sure when I get use to the hours and routine I'll have more time, and energy.BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL

Luvs ya too LE. You have grounded me when I needed it, and slapped my ass when I get too far out of line. For both I thank you. When I wandered yuo kept the porch lite on, knowing full well one day I'd come wandering home again. not only me but countless others as well.

You have been a shining light in thousands of lives.

It is we who are blessed to have had you in our lives.

Some of your children come in for only a short spell. Gather what it is that they need at that time, and move oneward in their journey much richer. Others come in and stay a spell, not being very vocal, but are still as much a part of your family as the big mouths of the bunch, lol.

Then you have those of us that you couldn't beat off with a hugamongus stick, like you'd ever want too.

You are the one thing in my entire world that remains steadfast, tried true, and always there should I need a lifeline, as I have so many times before.

Thank you dearest LE, for simply Be-ing you!

Congrats Starlily!!!

Hate going shopping in malls, Nope too many icktified people in there! Love shopping just keep it in smaller venues.

LOL sounds like an awesome times is to be had Bear. Congrats.

When my Grandparents reached 50 years someone asked them how they managed 50 years and if they ever thought about not making it this far. They both laughed Grandpa said it has taken him this long to get his underwear folded just right, and his clothes laid out for him, and his dinner fixed just right, why would he take the chance of getting some young thing who couldn't even cook! ( with which he got a smack lol) Grandma said it has taken her 50 years to tran him to put down the toilet seat and she didn't want to spend another 10 with a cold wet butt just to get a young feller! ( she got a smooch lol)

As far as how they got that far...........one day at a time!

CM Shocked Is that really the only thing available for them? I lived several years alone in an area with 3 schools across the street so the sex offenders were lurking, and a single young girl living alone I was VERY aware of my surroundings all the time.

Epona, good luck with the family. I know how you feel. I just have one sister and we're so alike but at the same time so different. She is a huge snob and it usually results in me or my mom having to put her in her place. I really don't know what makes her so snobby, my mom always taught us humbleness to the extreme (typical of an Asian family I guess). My sister looks down on me living in the South with what she thinks is a redneck. He may be a redneck, but I love him!

:|

Freedom, that's great about your parent's anniversary! Looks like you raised them right Wink As for the shopping... I am a mall goer, yes I admit. But I am a So Cali girl after all Wink

Bear, that sounds like a really nice anniversary lunch. And I have been back in the gym... I feel great! My leg is much happier now, doesn't ache when I sit as much.

Starlily, congrats on the job. Hope it's treating you well.

LE, you're so kind and are a fantastic person! hh)

I am TIRED today. BF get me up most of the night kicking and mumbling in his sleep. Then at one point he got up, went to the bathroom, came back to bed and turned on the tv. But I think he was still asleep when he did all of this, he said he didn't remember doing it when I told him. The rest of the night, I was tossing/turning myself, dreamworld was hectic for me last night. I probably had 100 different dreams!

I saw a nice movie last night, the Mistress of Spices. If any of you swing by Blockbuster you should check it out. It was an Indian lady in San Francisco who specialized in the magic in spices. She could also see into people's lives when she met them. It was nice, I liked it.

Ok, a little too tired to write too much more. I'll just say, happy Friday to everyone!

CONGRATULATIONS (wow) (clap) (cheer1)

I didn't even know you were a poet as well as an amazing artist! You are so blessed Alora with artistic talent. I read in another post today that you've written books too...

I guess I read it too fast the first time and it reminded me of the hoax I got yesterday. I really do apologize, I'm so sorry. You can't see it, but my face is SO red! Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

Poor Bear. I hate guys like that, but I love him too, LOL Yeah I got a guy like that, well, the flowers part anyways. He spoils me rottten, I know this, but ya know,he would never buy me a flower, against his principles. he doesn't want to buy anything that will bring anymore death into our lives. ( a symbolic thing for him)

It's not how we celebrate one day, it is how we celebrate our whole lives.

One day, and most likely only one damn day, before you die, he will surpirse the shit out of you with one red rose, on a day you would never think.

And that rose, the one velvet red rose, will mean more than a million bouquets.

Alora, the email wasn't stupid at all. It was me that was stupid. You definitely deserve recognition and praise, you put so much into your art and it shows. I surely believe your poetry must be as moving as your artwork. As for me, I was at work switching between writing the post and working and wasn't giving the appropriate attention to either one of those tasks. It's been a day of me putting my foot in my mouth today, I did it at least 3 times today Sad One with my best friend and another email! So it's time for me to go to bed and tomorrow I can maybe start fresh. I hope I didn't make you double-guess sharing your recognition with us Alora, I really do think it's great and you are truly an inspiration.

Good Morning everyone Smile Hope everyone is doing well. I didn't get to sleep in too much cuz the train is at it early today. Today is the jerk conductor who never takes his hand off the dang horn. Other days there's a nice conductor who waves at me if I'm looking out the window and lays off the horn when he comes by.

I have much cleaning to do today, we never cleaned up the debris after knocking down one of the walls last week.

I like reading about when you ladies complain (or brag Smile) about your men. It makes me feel better about living with Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde myself. I complained last week about him being a punk-assed jerk. And then he did a 180 and has been sweet to me again. But last night he was a sweetheart, he took me out to Richmond and we had a really nice time. We went to Belle Island and hiked around, it was beautiful. We tried to go to a free concert they have on Fridays, but it was another 2 miles to hike and we were already pooped from our hike. So I decided to treat him to dinner at a Cuban restaurant. Oh my goodness, it was the best food we'd ever had! I'm drooling this morning just thinking about it! I loved it when the waiter brought the bill and like usual put it in front of Bart. Then Bart smiled and pushed the bill in front of me, "oh no, it's on her tonight!" Very Happy It was cute.

Well, I finally got me a new digital camera (the old one just got worn out I guess). I took pictures from Belle Isle and posted them in my gallery. I also have a picture I took of when Venus was right next to the moon last week. I played around with that one and created a set of Moon and Venus pics. It was my first time doing this kind of art, so I'd like to share it with you guys. These are the two I like the best:

This is the fresco

and this is what I call Liquid Silver

The rest are at my portfolio if ya wanna check 'em out (blush)

I guess I shouldn't put it off any more, time to Pine Sol the house Smile Laters all

Yeah, it's called being in full bloom!

Well at least crow is only ill tasting for a short time Alora.

Sorry I'm not too vocal guys, I got some 'issues' going on, that in time I might bring forward, then again, don't want everyone knowing just how 'touched' dear Novia truly is, and just cannot deal with what might end up coming across wrong. lol.

I spent some time with all my family who are no longer walking the earth with me. Spent a couple special moments with each one. Even some I had not taken the time to connect with on past visits.

took oldest with me, she likes the dead people vistis, as long as they don't rattle around the house too loudly, that rattles her, lol. We went to where my Grandmother is, who passed a few years back. Went to my little brothers and other family members there. (6 there) Went to the next cemetary and visited my two sisters. (2) Then went to the cemetary with the oldest family members. (9) (17 total!)

We spent some time clearing off the overgrowth on their headstones. This place had been poorly kept for years, and has finally changed hands. Could tell the difference, but some tending is still needed. We even took some time and cleared some that dirt and stuf ws covering alot of the stones, to the point you could not read alot of them. Spent about a half hour caring for forgotten families of others. it ws nice. Figured out ages ago that the pinecones from the old pine tree works wonderfully as 'scrubbers' for the headstones, lol.

Son is going to pick oldest up from work so I get to have a drink, or two. Then to the zoo tommorrow! yeah! (NO RAIN!)

Hi to all. I have had a very busy two weeks with my parent and nephew out for a visit. It is always so nice to see them, but I must admit that is was to get my house back this morning.

They had a good stay, it was the first time I have seen my nephew so that was good. He is the same age as my youngest so we had a house full. Me, my man, our four kids, two very house happy cats, two dogs, fish etc and my parents, my nephew and dads two dogs that live in side. I have never seen two dogs so spoilt. So it was hectic, the cats didn't appreciate the dogs being in the house, but it was fun.

It is very hard some times as I only see them once a year and it is always so much of a shock to see how much they have aged. My dad is not a well man and I woryy about him a great deal. They are doing a great job helping to raise my nephew with his other grand parents.

I hope you all are very well and life is travelling smoothly for you all.

Love

Morning to all. I have woken with energy to clean up the house today. Loved having the family but must admitt in my house dogs are for outside ( although mine are large) but dads are inside and I know what they mean to him so go with the flow. But if anyone has any ideas how to get the smell of cat pee (yes god love them) out of carpet. The cats were rather upset with the dogs and one of the girls let me know just how upset. I have tried everything I can think of.

I had a lovely belated birthday dinner last night. My man took me to the local Italian Restaurant and it was sssooooooo lovely. He decided after so much work for two weeks I need a treat of thanks.

Well we have clouds again today and am hoping it turns to some rain. We haven't seen any good rain for a year now and the dam surely needs it. So after I clean my house I will be lighting a candle and saying a prayer for some.

I must admit to you all although I love them they surely drive me up the wall and back down sometimes, especially mum. But I know its only for two weeks and dad enjoys the break from her when out here. She is some what of a hypercondriact ( I am sure that is not the way to spell it).

Well I am hoping you all have a wonderful day. I am off for a wander before I work.

Well Hubby and I went to the zoo today, just he and I again. Nice.

I said NO RAIN BTW!!! He and I got soaked to the bone in a doownpur that caught us in the middle of no where. Except we figured out later is we had backtracked 25ish feet back around a bend we could have found shelter. LOL This happened at about 10:30 and we were still wet when we got home at almost 5:00! Crap in my purse was wet, my toes were hurting they were so pruney, but by damn we did the whole place, and saw deep Blue on Imax! We have the membership now so we can go as often as we like, and we will cause hubby will get his monies worth lol.

Freedom, glad you parents anniversay went well. 'Old' love is awesome!

Kath, you are an angel dealing with family for 2 weeks!

LOL Alora, the dead visit me anytime they damn well wanna, 365/24/7! My comment had nothing to do with them. It's a whole nother issue all together. The dead, and spirits I have no problem with. I know I'm of the deep end with them, lol.
