Here's a question for you all... If you had your choice of going to a regular esthetician or Pagan one who is Holistic-based which would you be more likely to choose & why? Oh & and an esthetician tkes care of the skin like a specialist under a dermatologist. I look forward to hearing from you all soon!

Sorry for no intros (oops Embarassed ). The reason for asking is because I'm curious about everyones preferance of which type of estee they would go to. I have a friend of mine who says that being Pagan is an advantage here because it broadens my horizons to other & many different ways of thinking in this field (I agree with him on this as he comes from a family of Pagans). I just wanted others inpuits about who their choice would be if they had one. I hope this helps.

Oh- & as far as an intro goes (here's a simple one)... I 26 from Denver, Co. I obviously am Pagan & after esthetics classes are finished & will be attending culinary school at FCI in NY.

Sorry if I didn't come off as friendly as I normally do (dealing with a serious health issue right now). I do look forward to getting more of you as time progresses...

Don't worry Betty. You have to understand that your question comes close to asking for medical advice, which is illegal for anyone but a medial doctor to formally answer.

As such, my personal (non-medcal, I am not an authority) choice would depend on what my problem was and whether or not the visits would be covered by insurance. Additionally, if you are not satisfied with the outcome of one type of treatment, you could just go to the other.

I agree with Stacey. When I'm lookin for someone to take care of a medical problem, etc. I don't look at what their religion is...I look at credentials, experience, success with patients, treatments they offer, insurance, etc. While in this particular field being a Pagan might be an advantage, that doesn't mean I'm automatically going to go to him/her first for treatment.

But that's just my opinion Very Happy

By the way, welcome to you, Betty! Be sure to make a formal introduction on the Introduction forum page so everyone can say hello.
