Hello and good day to all. I was wondering if there was an herb I could give my 2 yr old to calm him down. He is very hipper and gets mad so fast. Today he through a rock at my neighbors kids head because the little boy did not want give him a certain toy. All I know is I fear for the other older kids out side and not him... He will not sleep at night, he goea to bed around 1 am or 2am. He does not get much sweets because of the hipperness but nothing seems to work. I even asked his doctor for a baby valum. LOL No I need one.. I hate to bother you all about my problems but talking to four walls all day does not seem to help me.... My only salvation is when the my other kids get home from school. So does any one have any ideas?....

Chamomile tea or catnip tea works wonders. I give it to my kids and recommend it to others, with great success. You can put a tiny bit of sugar or honey in it to flavor it, if he refuses it without it. But, I try to give it straight if possible..or honey instead of regular sugar.

I also wanted to let you know that I have a very "intense" little boy also. My other children are girls, so I always want to say it is a boy thing..but that might not be true. lol I have found with my son lately, now that he has the words to explain himself a little more, is that when he is acting up the most he is just looking for attention from me. If I stop what I am doing and do something one-on-one with him, he is much better behaved.
