A friend lent me a book called "The Wicca Handbook" By Eileen Holland. I have just reached the chapter about the elements. Ive always been told my birth sign was a fire sign, just found out it isnt.

I was born 6 weeks late. I should have been born under leo instead I am a virgo.

Here is my question:

can someone feel the pull of the what they should have but still have some of that which they recieved? example On my quest for a name I feal bastet guided me and I have devoted myself to her service (she is in the fire element)

I probably shouldn't reply, since I don't know much about astrology. But..it is my opinion that we have all the elements in us. We may feel drawn to one particular element more than another. I do not think that is wrong in any way, regardless of if we were born in that sign or not.
And I firmly believe that the Gods choose us, so if Bastet is calling you then you should definitly work with and honor her.

I hope this made some kind of sense. I think that we should strive to work with, and find some kind of balance with all the different elemental signs. While you may not have been born in a fire sign..perhaps your other planets/houses are in that sign and that is why you feel such a pull to fire.
