Have any nice pics of bird feathers? I pick up and collect a few. However on walking sticks and stuff I only use turkey feathers (all local wild turkeys, and all alive. Lucky enuff to have a friend in fish and game that provides me with plenty off of live capture and release feathers) Remember you have to be careful using stray feathers if you use them in art or other projects for sale. Federal law prohibits use of migratory bird feathers. They get very ugly about that!

Here are a few. will add more later. What you got? Very Happy

Ohhhhh eagle feathers aa) . But I can't have them here, not a native american. They would put me under the jail, LOL. As I get time I will put up more turkey feathers, they have a wonderful variety, then maybe the blue heron, hawk, woodpecker, bluejay, even crow. Even have some guniea, hmmm my friend never brought me any good duck feathers, oh well, maybe next year.

I really love the Blue Jays, have several that hang out in Grandfather Oak. I think I have a feather of so from them. I once had to rescue two small ones that flew out of their nest. Heard a terrible racket outside the shop. The parents had found and shredded some old carpet for the nest lining, and the two little ones legs had gotten tangled up and they were on the ground. Really interesting trying to get them untangled with mama and daddy about pulling my hair out, lol.
