Every time I leave, I get logged out and have to re-log in.How do I stay logged in?
I don't get reponses to message boards other wise...

Hi MIstic,

You have to log in every time you come back. It is a security issue.

If you opt to receive replies to a thread, they will arrive in your email box. You don't have to be signed in for that to happen.

I am appreciating the security issue but I am veryvexed and frustrated. I have twice now written a post and in the midst of writing when I clicked to send the post, I discovered I had to log back in and consequently, lost all that I had written.

Very annoying!

Alas, I looked for it but as I had not clicked on "submit" before I got "knocked off" it was gone when I logged back in. So I just put a couple sentances about the tyra show instead of my observations--I did not want to rewrite the whole thing!

I do not like that at all!

We have it set for 90 minutes the maximum you can have it.

And CoyoteMoon is correct. When you sign back in and hit "back" your post will be there. I do it all the time, and I write some pretty lengthy posts from time to time. You can always Right click and save it before you send it as well. And if it times out, you can log back in, paste into a new thread and viola, it's done.

Alot of folks will post some of the longer articles in Microsoft word or front page save them and then post them to a thread, and that works wonderfully.

I've had to relogin and I'm sure it hasn't been an hour and a half since I last logged in.

Nope. I was reading pages and when I tried to go to a different page I was taken to the log in page. Its no big deal, just a little inconvienient (I can't spell!)

Sure is secure! lol.

Its not really an issue. ITs just that in this day an age of dropdown boxes and prefilled forms we get lazy and want everything done for us.
