Can anyone tell me......is Moonlight Yarrow the same as the regular Yarrow(Milfoil)? I need to plant some in my herb garden, but if they are not the same, then I won't bother.

Thanks!

Hi GaiasGirl,

All yarrow and its cultivars are members of the millifolium family. Moonshine tends to be more clumplike and less invasive. What exactly are you looking to use it for? We need more information to be able to assist you.

Blessings Bright and Dark,

Actually, one of my herbalists told me that Yarrow would be great to take internally for my sluggish liver and would make a wonderful poultice for my skin conditions.

That's why I was wondering.

GaiasGirl,

If you do a search in our community for Yarrow, you will come up with some of the various uses. I wouldn't plant just any yarrow tho..I would stick with Achillea millefolium it has the highest medicinal value.

Be sure to follow your doctor's advice to the letter, and be sure to let him/her know all the supplements and medicines you are currently taking before using yarrow medicinally.

Blessings Bright and Dark,
