9. You ask for Halloween off, because it's a religious holiday.

LoL, me and my boss get Halloween off! Umm... yeah.. my friends give me unscented candles for my birthday and "Yule" (I put "" because everyone except me and my bf are Christian, but they respect our different holidays ^_^) XD All good stuff!

Well, I guess I must be a Witch....I have far more odd things in jars and boxes than I have boxes of cereal. I tend to prefer Endora far more than Samantha. My friends know that they can give me candles and such (but tend to be cautious with fragrance, so I give broad hints). Drops of candle wax are a sign of normal living, aren't they? A B.O.S. is really my "cookbook" isn't it?? And every good cook knows that a really good cookbook gets stained from being used right there in the kitchen during creation.

P.S.: Since Halloween isn't considered a real holiday, it's much easier to get that day/night off work.

I must be a true witch when it comes to the holiday thing. I took off all the sabbats. lol I'm sure my bosses were wondering..why the hell is a Wed. a holiday?? LOL

As for Halloween, I requested it off as a religious holiday so I was sure to get it off. With kids you don't want to say, well I would love to take you but I'll be working those hours. It was a guarentee if I said for religious reasons.
Living where I am now though, I doubt even that would work though. Oh how I miss the real world...

Mannnn, I can sure identify with that one - I seem to draw people who want to talk about anything and everything, and only since I have become more active as a solitary - it's kinda wierd - maybe it's just a different vibe or something? lol

When your kids are questioning and frustrating you so much that instead of saying "Because I said So"...you yell
"So Mote it Be!"...

Another good indication that you just might be a witch is when one of your best friends tells you that he's getting married and you spend the next couple of hours calling your fellow pagani to try to determine the appropriate day, time and moon phase for the hapless, misguided soul to do the deed. Then you attempt to explain to him and his dearly beloved, who is the daughter of a Baptist preacher, just why they should follow your instructions.
