Hi Everyone!

School is definitely keeping me busy! I am SO glad I made this career change. My stress levels are so much better even though I am so much busier these days. The kids in my class are just so awesome.

Hubby left for training last week and will be back in early October. He'll be here through Thanksgiving before he heads out to Iraq (again) for 15 months.

It's been crazy fun planning for class and being a single parent to two kids and housetraning our new puppy!!! Sadi, is a Cairn Terrier. She is quite the little wolf...so cute and spunky. She is quite a handful, but I had to bring her home as soon as we met.

Lady E, I hope your knee heals up after this go around of surgery! I agree!!! I do just feel wiped out most days. Motivation to get things done is seriously lacking around here.

Novia, the renaissance fair sounds awesome! I have always thought that it would be great fun to attend. It's on my list...you know the list of things you mean to do...

Stacey, I hope the family comes through their medical difficulties with flying colors. Congrats on the new car! The conservatory tour sounds just awesome. I LOVE books...I have been asked NOT to buy more books...LOL...like that's going to work.

I haven't had a lot of time to post but I have been surfing through when I get the chance. You guys always brighten my day. Thank you for being the wonderful people you are!

Blessings,
Gaia

Hi everyone.

Novia the rennaiscance sounds great. I must say I do try to stay clear of too much of the news, always too many bad things going on.

Stacey good thoughts to your family, I hope all goes well with them. Congrats with the car.

The shit that is happening in the world at the moment. I wish it would all come to an end and inprove soon.

My last three weeks have been hell and now I have problems with my oldest at school. At the moment I would like to run for the hills.

Lady E I am sorry to hear about your knee. I know you said surgery. But I always know when my knees act up it is usually because I am having trouble moving into the future. Hell I ache all over at the moment ( just joking ).

Love to one and all. I hope you all are travelling safe and happy in this world .

Good morning Cuppa Clan.

As I sit here at nearly 6 a.m. cuppa to one side, a newly charged milky white quartz in front of me, as well as all life itself, pondering all the funky noises eminating from my tower as virus scan seeks out voracious virus that might have snuck in during a teenagers flurry of inaudible downloads of music to put on her psp, and waiting for the same said teenager to finally drag herself grumpy growling and fussing ass out of bed to tackle yet one more day of highschool, I wonder.........what am I doing for me?

Well I did finally get my pendant ordered! No thanks to not only the site but explorer as well (it shut down and I hit sontinue and it took me back to the damn main emporium page! sheesh! Good thing I'm hard headed LE cause I got that bitch ordered! lol) You know the back button musta been invented by someone who got tired of retyping shit cause he didn't end up where it was he was wanting to go when he hit enter! lol

I did manage to get a peek a the full moon last night and cleared a spot on my 'altar' to place it since the full moon always shines directly onto it when it is a clear night.

Ya know the sad thing, the only thing I WANT to do is to clean/cleanse/revitalize my dusty/dirty/bad energy filled ass house prior to shutting it up, like it's ever been open yet, lol, for the dead time of winter!!!

I also want to clean up down in the basement to set up some exercise equipment to be able to use to maybe get rid of a millimeter of fat around my midsection utilizing said torture devices! lol. (Besides that it could use a good cleansing as well!)

This weekend again I am destined to chase the ever elusive little metal cars with redlines around the tires created by some ominous mastermind who knew in 30 years, men older than that would be striving to recapture these damn things! (they claim it is because the are 'collectors' I think it is because they want to get hold of that little bit of lost childhood, cause they sure all act like a dumb ass buncha boys over these damn things! lol)

Ah, alas the teenager does not yet stir, so I need to go find a bigger stick with which to prod her from a safe distance as not to be struck down by the venomous glares that will shoot forth from her eyes like the venom of a spitting cobra, and are three times as deadly! lol

Like a reoccuring nightmare...I shall return! lol

Ok frighteningly that wasn't too awefully bad only a mild growl, will have to approach her one more time with the threat that she is going to have to go straight from slumber to fully dressed and ready to walk out the door in five minutes should she not move hern arse!!!

On the way back having to pass thru the kitchen to return to the sanctuary that is my bedroom, I craved food. Opening the freezer I spotted a box contained rpeformed frozen rock hard slabs of beef (hamburgers lol) and decied that is what I want to eat, half cooked semi-raw (otherwise known as rare) meat slapped between tw pieces of whole white bread! (Do ya think I need a tad bit o grounding this a.m.? lol)

Soon it will be time for me to do the same thing the dreaded teenager is doing, prepping myself to tackle the day, and the morrons who will be before me!

You kow I set out with some grand ass train of thought before me as I sat down to this infernal contraption to touch base with fellow members of the castles cuppa clan, and for the life of me, my train either left the station without me, or somewhere unbeknownst to me, left the track morphed into some other mode of transportation and has totally left the rail system!!

Ah oh well the ramblings of a mad white woman! lol

I yam what I yam, and that's all that I yam!!

Novia, you have a way of making everyday life sound so exciting.

Kath, I am sorry to hear of your child's struggle in school. As I am not a parent, I can't give you any advice, but good luck any way.

Gaia, Carins are adorable. They're the perfect size with the perfect amount of energy.

Lady Elaine, I hope your knee feels better.

On a completely other note, I just found out that my outside dog has died. He was very old and living with my dad. I was able to see him last weekend, and I wish I could have spent more time with him. But, I think he had a happy life and am glad he did not have to be given away before my dad moves.

Well, I suppose it will be a bit of a melancholy day for me.

Good morning, afternoon everyone.

Stacey I am sorry to hear of the loss of your dog. It is a sad time loosing a beloved pet.

As for my son, the problems were caused by him and a mate doing son reeaalllllyyyy stupid things and not using their intelligence or better upbringing to to say NO to per pressure. So by this evening the situation will be resolved and a very hard lesson will hopefully be learned.

Novia I love reading your posts, you have such a way with words. And I know exactly what you mean about the venom spitting eyeballs of a teenager. I have two going through it all at the same time. So much fun and on certain days a cattle prod would be better that a large stick. Life seems to be so different now, there is no idea of consequences for actions with our teeneagers anymore. What a scarey thought for the future with some of these kids coming up. Out of an incident that involved about eight boys my son and his mate were the only ones to admitt to their actions and have been taking fully responsibility for them, working as well to restify them. ( This with some very angry parents behind them determined that they will do the right thing) Just makes me so disapointed in the family structure. Myself and partner even brought in my childrens father to be involved in the punishment so that we can all stand united with it. Now that was a hard thing to do, but seeing as though they go over to his house we wanted the punishment to be the same in both places. Anyway.

I am waiting for the end of the day as my closest girlfriend is coming for a visit. I have not seen her for almost a year and it is going to be great.

Everone I hope you all have had and are having a good day.

Happy Saturday! I just checked the mail and found a lovely surprise waiting for me! The pendant is beautiful and I will treasure it. Thank you LE.

Stacy~ I am so sorry to hear about your dog. It is difficult to part with our furry friends. You are in my prayers.

Novia~ I loved the glimpse into your morning! I also have to approach my daughter with stick in hand on occassion...sometimes just the threat of sending her to school in her PJs, yuck mouth and bed head is plenty of motivation to get her up (at the last possible moment of course).

Kath~ I hope your visit with your dear friend is going well. It's so nice to have a chance to spend time with those we love. I haven't seen my best friend since 2004 when I visited Virginia the last time. I hope things with your son clear up soon.

Blessings,
Gaia

Hi everyone.

My weekend went well, wish my friend and I had of had more time together. We have been friends for 18 years and one weekend is never enough after not seeing each other for 12 months. But it was lovely.

My family seems to be settling back down. Things with my son are better, he has had a very large lesson on knowing who your friends are. I hate it though, I wish I could just take it all away. But this is his lesson.

So I hope you all are having and have had a lovely weekend.

Hi everyone. I hope all is well in your lives. Welcome to all the new souls to this our wonderful home away from home.

It seems the earth is throwing out a hell of a lot of difficult times for many of us. What a time of learning and growth we are faced with. Life rolls on in a calm wave for some time then wham you are face first in the dirt for a while.

Well things seem to be getting back on track for me, my car is almost fixed, my son is back on track at school and the other little things are also beginning to settle.

Life is a wonderful thing, confusing, worrying at times, joyful, sad, but all in all a wonderful thing.

Morning Kath et al,

I am delighted that things are settling down for you Kath, we have missed your cheery energy and wisdom ! I know what it is like to have abit of chaos thrown at you, but in the end, it was only a speedbump in the road of life....and both you and your family are more learned and stronger....I did keep a candle lit for you all, and I do hope that it helped....

My life is quite calm at the moment. And what a blessing after all the drama/trauma over the summer.

The business is going quite well, the site here is phenomenal, and so are the people. U couldn't have achieved the state of mind I am now in without all the caring individuals here at OdSS.

I am going to have knee surgery in about 6 weeks, but that will allow me more time to sit and be with all of you!

I am going to be adding angel cards to the divinations suite either today or tommorow. Very nice choice, I feel and also more to come as I add more things for us to enjoy and discover ourselves with.

The apothecary is growing daily, if opnly by 4-5 remedies a day, but its a beginning. I am also going to be adding to the spellbokk and entering a "Natural Foods" and "Poisonous Mushroom" database to the BOS in the days to come....so alot more is in store.

The Poisons I am still working on, and am trying to make it so you have to be not only over 18 but sign an agreement for that one...still not sure how I want to work it, but when I have it all figured out, I am sure it will be popular!

I willbe around off anf on today, I am working on many different things at the momnent. along with making tons of incense, sothe house is smelling awesome!

Everyone remember that the Emporium has all sorts of things from jewelry to candles, to bath teas, to herbs, candles, magickal oils and of course t6he Kitchen Grimoire! And MUCH more to come, as I intend on adding tarot decks by the end of October!

Blessings Bright and Dark,

If you cant explain it simply, you dont understand it well enough.-- Albert Einstein

I have been lurking around the cuppa group for the longest time and I so enjoy reading about everyone's lives, so I guess it's OK for me to jump in.

I live in Connecticut, and the weather has been so dry and hot here, all our grass is brown and even the perennials are drooping. My herbs need to be watered every day. Hoping for some rain this week, but I have my doubts. I spent today fixing up our back bedroom for my grandchildren when they visit. I was storing their toys in a cardboard box in the cellar, but I bought a bookcase with a drawer in the bottom, and I got some of those pretty hat boxes and I put their toys in the hat boxes, put the hat boxes on the book shelves, and all of their art supplies in the drawer. My oldest granddaughter, she's 6, is coming to spend the Columbus day weekend with me in October, so I wanted to be sure to have everything ready.

Brightest blessings to all Surprised

Welcome to the cuppa rainbells and anyone at anytime can chime in.

The room sounds ideal for the wee one(s).

I've been thinking (mind you not past the thinking stage yet!lol) of doing something with one part of our basement to have a hidey spot and to set up one piece of my excercise equipment for the winter months.

then to there is getting my space in my room cleansed and set up for me time, and then there is the rest of the place that needs a good stick beating of all the growing dust monsters. So in the end I start nothing cause I got too many places to tend to!

Sheesh!!!!!
