(cheer1)

It is about time that they put it on there. It is so sad that a fight had to happen over something like this in the first place though. If a man or woman serves their country, they should be allowed to have whatever they want on their marker, imo.
Hopefully a day will come when the VA no longer has a list of symbols that are allowed. They will just honor the men and women that have stood for our country and our rights and freedoms.

A small ripple of victory in a huge pond of defeat (politically speaking), but, nevertheless, a victory. Bravo!

The Hopstotch Hoodlum

Exactly Ladyalpha. They should not put limits on honoring the men and women who have served this nation. Do you think this will only remain extended for soldiers or that someday citizens may also have pentacles on their headstones? The first place I ever saw one on a headstone, was down in Key West, but its so far south that its a conglomeration of American and Caribbean cultures, and I also recall glimpsing freemason and order-of-the-eastern-star symbolism as well. That's one thing down there, another thing for the rest of the country.
