About a year ago in september, I did a spell to bring my true love to me when the time was right...I wrote down every single trait he should have and the things i found important for a relationship to function. I asked for him to be my perfect balance and me to be his. I asked the powers that be to give me a distinct sign when I found him, just so i wouldnt miss it...that night I saw 11:11. (which has always been my sign that I am on the right track) well i was thinking that it would take some years for me to find him, but on 11/11/06 this guy sent me a message on myspace-I never reply back to those, but something told me i should.

We have been together for almost a year, he is my perfect balance. I had a dream that he proposed to me, it was so detailed and imperfect, (which was great thats what i love about him). I have prophetic dreams all the time, but alas a week later he broke up with me because he couldnt see us together in the future...well I did a little meditating and I got images of our children and little glimpses (almost like a memory) of us and our kids in the future. I cant ignore these images or these feelings that he really is the guy for me. We are still friends right now, but I know in the depths of my soul that this is the one.

Is there a spell that doesnt mess with free will, that i can do to help him open his mind-or can someone do a reading for me?

Love spells are tricky things. I think, overall, the spell you caste was balanced, but I would suggest recasting it with some additional wording.

I know this sounds unromantic, but I view spell work, the actual wording, as a sort of legal contract. I try to fill in every loophole, especially when it come to issues of the heart.

What you neglected with this spell is to ask that you be brought together with your partner at a point in your llives when you both will be able to recognize and form a stable relationship. Many people do not think of this when they perform love spells because they are usually lonely and want someone in their lives as soon as possible.

Love spells require a certain maturity and profound thought for them to work properly. I think you have this maturity, as you mentioned that you were expecting it to be a longer process. However, with love spells, the "when" and "where" of the spell is equally as important as the "who".

My best advice to you is to reperform your spell (since it seemed to work)with the addition of bringing the object of the spell into a relationship when you are both able to recognize and partake in a stable relationship. This may require a long period of waiting, but that may be necessary.

I strongly agree with Novia. You have to be so careful when doing love spells, everything i its place.

I personally do not believe in doing any Love spells.  If it does not come natually, it is not meant to be.

All you need to do is ask the Universe to help you find your soul mate.  No spells needed here.  The universe knows you.

I gave up on men after a horrible divorce and 3 failed relationships after that.
Then On Jan 1, 2007 my horoscope said
"A long lost love will contact you"  I said yeah Larry will contact me.
Well on Jan 20th he did through Classmates.com!!

I was shocked and stunned and all the hurt and anger came back after I had learned to forgive those who hurt me and moved on.
so my first response was not nice to him.  
I told my dear freind Joanne and she said "  people change in 31 yrs, write back to him!"

So I did and we started to get to know each other again, but we knew each other..........
Larry was my High School Sweetheart whom I have loved all these years and he never stopped loving me.  We were together for 3.5 yrs and he chickened out of marrying me and his friend told him he didn't need me.
so he was married 2 times before and me one time.  

When he came to see me for the first time in 31yrs, he came at me with arms open to hug me, my dog Bobo was very protective of me and normally would stand in front of me and bark and growl.  he did not do that.
Larry hugged me and as he did, bobo wrapped himself around us!!!!!!
What was so amazing is we both were in the same state just 8 hrs from each other!

WE were engaged in march and Married/Handfasted on Samhain 2007!
In one of the pictures you see what many would say is the Moon, but the moon was gone by this time and rises on other side of High Priestess home. This was my Mothers Orb!!  After my daugther and future son in law lit the ancestor candle all the orbs came out....................

I gave up,  when people try too hard, they  make mistakes.
If you try to find someone it usually is not the right time or person.

You need to let him go, and work on you right  now,  If it is meant to be, he will come back.  Just ask the Goddess and Universe to send you your soul mate......................leave it at that.   The Universe knows who that is and when it happens you will know....................This may not be the right time for you..........
