I see the woods that surround my house, the leaves starting to turn the bright shades of autumn.  There are golds and reds and browns.  The marsh lillies are still blooming with bright yellow flowers, and there's some kind of soft purple flower still in bloom.  A red cardinal keeps sitting on the window ledge peeking in at me.  I love this time of year!!!

I see one of my crazy cats rolling in the dirt, the clouds rolling through the hazy, blue sky.  Bees and a green coloured butterfly on my flowers.

The halloween decorations the kids were supposed to take down today.

Golden leaves drifting like snowflakes past my home office window,
Tiny plump birds playing in the naked branches,
The smallest peek of a crisp blue sky.
It's mid-morning here on the west coast,
The days are getting colder,
Time for wooly mittens and that special scarf Nana made.
Off to brew up some tea,
Anyone for a cup?

Not much my eyes keep watering!  

Today I see rain, beautiful rain.  Wet grass, shinny leaves on the trees.  Rain woooooooooww

Its a clear cool night, the stars are shining bright with a cool breeze swaying throughout the trees.

Lots of snow, and stuck viechels lmao...

It's dark.  The fenced in pool area with the well-lit pine trees surrounding it is littered with groomed shrubbery and looks like Wonderland.  Inside the pool area, a neighbor is sitting, smoking a cigarette and watching his happy dog bounce around in the grass.

Hi all... I joined this group a long time ago, back when it was called something else on MSN... here I am .. MIA..but hopefully back to post and chat...

What do I see.. I see a thermometer which is registered at -20C.. now in Fahrenheit.. i'm not sure what that is.. but pretty cold. It's still dark as it's only 8 am here.. we don't see the sun until 10 am or so.. but  the days are getting longer...

I trust you all had a great xmas and have either a quiet or wild New year's eve planned..

Pleiades

I see the neighbors' Christmas decorations, having had their moment of glory, waving in the breeze.  They seem forlorn now, as if they realize they are but a poignant reminder of a fleeting, happier time of holiday hopefulness and laughing children and visiting loved ones.  Surely someone will soon grudgingly take the time to reinter them and spare their dignity.

Sadly, when I look out of my window I see a white painted wall three feet from the window    but inside I see my little dog Tansy Cobweb lying on her back, paws in the air, I see my beloved husband and I see my painting of stormy hills and fields. Not all bad eh??

My car, which I have to venture out to in less than an hour to go to work (again) for the second time tonight, this time until 6AM.

Trees, snow, construction equipment, porta potty, Pretty birds eating at the feeders, a squirrrel pouncing thru the snow looking for something to get into.
