Boji Stones vs Mochi Balls (Moqui)

Mochi Balls: Mochi Balls © are made of Iron and Sandstone. Named
after a Native American tribe who live in the Moqui Desert, they
would use these balls for sport, similar to Marbles. Sacred among the
Shamanic members of ancient tribes, they were also used in rituals to
contact extra-terrestrials, for visioning and for journeys. Needing
no special care, the act as a protector when placed in ones
environment. They synthesis male/female duality, liberate one's
nature and help to recognize and understand the self. They realign
the energy centers, relieve energy blockage, stimulate Qi energy,
ground, center and protect. They have been used to treat physical
instabilities in the veins, muscles, arteries, bone loss, RNA/DNA
balancing, immune system and cellular renewal.

Boji Stones: Iron-magnetite concretion. Solid round, grey-brown discs
with high iron. Grounding, electromagnetic. Balances body's energy
field. Many have found they reduce pain by holding 1 in each hand.
Recharges electrically in sun. (Store boji's apart - magnetics
neutralize each other. Also wearing/holding with tiger's eye or other
stone containing asbestos may bring on ill feeling.) Rough "male" and
smooth "female" stones both have + and - charge.

The similarities of these stones can be found above. The differential
between them seems to be their chemical make up. Both stones are
concretions and contain iron. Bojis tend to have the addition of
pyrite as well as palladium, both very healing minerals.

Hi Lady Elaine,

This is an interesting read.  I truely enjoy learning about crystals.
Where do you get crystals like the ones you described.
I'm just in the learning process.

Thanks so much Very Happy

I personally prefer the mochi balls. they have a 'smoother' feel to them. The boji stones are 'harsher' to me.

The mochi balls do work on more of a fine sandpaper while the boji work much like a jackhammer. LOL I know funny way to describe it.

I had a set of mochi balls but they wanted to go home with my step mom. She has fibromyalgia, so maybe that is why.

I have been working with Boji Stones and they have helped my Lupus. Mochi Balls seem to work on a different level.....and yes, Novia, they seem to be "softer" energy-wise. Great stones all the way around!

Nyllynn, Mochi Balls and Boji Stones are stones, not crystals. Kinda ugly when you first see them, until you feel their energies. If you go into the Encyclopedia sectrion here, we have a very wonderful section on Crystals and Gemstones.

If you are interested in purchsing stones and crystals, check your local yellow pages under "Lapidary" and also alot of Metaphysical stores carry a selection of stones. Also, if you look for Gem-Shows coming thru your area, you can purchase some amazing pieces that way as well.

Blessings Bright and Dark,

That and if you have a 'science' oriented store they often carry lots of stones as well.

I'm lucky enough to know a guy that used to stock the small case at the Children's Museum and he works at a store nearby that carries lots of not only stones but fossils as well. I'm sure if there was something special I wanted he'd find it for me.

Also if you do have a metapphysical shop near you and are in need of somehting special, ask. They are more than willing to help their clientelle, all's you gotta do is ask.
