Howdy Alora,
It has been a bit quiet in this thread. We have a few people who share with us daily and some that just drop by to say hello. It takes awhile to feel comfortable to talk about daily life. Also, I think we've been getting some younger members who have lives like mine that would probably bore people to tears. I'm not married and don't have kids, so the best stuff I can bring up would be about work, school, or my cats. Of course, if you someone is just dying to hear about it, I would be happy to share. I actually have always found ODSS intersting because the lives of so many of the members are so entirely different from mine. We've devoted a little room in our castle just for that crowd.
We've been emphasizing more of the sharing of magical information and mentoring lately. As always, it can be difficult getting a web conversation going with such eclectic members. I think we are pretty well balanced in our knowledge and expertise to address most people's questions, but I think we have all been too busy in the past months to add some of our own original material. I am sure after this semester is finished, I'll jump back in with some new info. Perhaps when I finish my degree next semester, I'll help form a study group to address some specific areas, but for right now, I have an exam, 2 papers, and a father to move by next week on top of work.
So, is it a sigh of relief to have some of your kids on their own? It's great to hear that your art is flourishing, I remember what a concern that was for you. I saw your article in WitchsVox, and was amazed, as always, with your affinity with numbers.
Well, I've got to go be productive, so have a delightful day!
