I don't know if this is the right forum to post this in, but I would like to ask this community to help me out regarding this young mother who is missing.

Stacy Peterson is 23, and has been missing since Oct 28th.  Her husband, a former police sgt is a suspect in her dissapearence.  More info about the case can be found at http://findstacypeterson.com

As a survivor of domestic violence, this case has really affected me deeply.
Altho I dont know her personally, I would like to ask the pagan community to help me nationwide/worldwide in lighting a candle for her.

On January 20th, a candlelight vigil for Stacy Peterson will be held in IL.
As I cannot be there in person, I will be lighting a candle for her at 7pm EST here in Florida, and would like to ask everyone I know to do the same.
It is her birthday that day, and as of yet she has still not been found, nor have any charges been brought against the one/ones responsible for her dissapearance..

This is someones mom, sister, daughter, aunt and friend...
Please help me in lighting a nationwide/worldwide candle to shine brightly for her to be found, and for justice to be served quickly.

Although I beleive the cause is noble, when we are doing such a thing 3 weeks in advance, I feel we are betraying Stacy Peterson. What if she is found by then? What if she is ok? We need not give energy to something so negative and dark....pray for her safety, and for her life, not her death.

The future has not yet been written.........

Unfortunately, its not looking good that she will be found alive.
The case is developing into a real possiblitiy that her husband has been
"getting rid" of alot of people that came into his path.

The Cales family, (Stacy's family) are the ones who decided on having the vigil
in IL...but I wanted to show my support, even if I couldnt be there in person.

I really hope perhaps she is alive, and may possibly be in a Witness Protection program, as she apparently was told by her husband that he killed his 3rd wife. She had already made an appointment to see an attorney the Monday after she disapeared, and had told her pastor about what her husband had told her. So maybe she is alive but in protective custody.
Perhaps lighting a candle for her in this manner, will help law enforcement find the evidence needed to expose her husband for who he is...he is so much like my ex husband it isnt funny.
He has made statements almost word for word to the press, that my ex said to me and about me.
At any rate, I will do what I can from a distance to be supportive of the family in this case.

You do make a valid point tho, but my intentions are mainly to show supprt for them, and for Stacy.

We understand that you only wish to show your support Swampy and that is indeed a noble thing to do.

I think now is a good time to send out the energeis of support, and not just do so on a particular day. Maybe send out a little extra then, for the family, for they are the one's who need it now.

Everyday I send them as much good energy as I possibly can...
I have a cousin who was murdered by her husband, so I can totally
relate to how they are feeling.
