It's a new year and time to do something about the burnout, physically, emotionally and spiritually.  So, what better place to be, right?

A little about myself...I'm an American woman living in Holland, partner to a wonderful Dutchman. I grew up with witchcraft so I'm certainly not new and then found OBOD and Druidry back in 2003 along with my husband.  While I love the idea of Druidry, I have to say that my entire experience with OBOD left me with a really bad taste in my mouth and sent me into a spirtual burnout, that, together with an already physically burned out life style and the added emotional trauma of several losses in our fur family over the course of a year, let's just say I took a LONG break from life of any sort.

Now I'm ready to rejoin the world, so to speak, and here I am.  I'm looking forward to finding my around the site and getting to know some new like-minded folks.

Lady Elaine, you've come a long way from what I remember and it all looks wonderful!  I'm just glad I found your new home.

I am so glad you found us and I know it will be a much better experience that OBOD. I know quite a few folks who have had bad experiences with those folks...so you are not alone.

Here we offer a peaceful, tranquil place with loads of information that you can learn and enjoy at your own time and day....there are not the "ego" problems with people bickering and bantering either, and that is a very refreshing change from many of the Pagan related boards and communities out there....

It's good to see you and I do hope you won't remain a stranger! Explore, wander and enjoy the castle!

Thank you all for the warm welcome.  

Lady Elaine, thank you for that tiy bit of info...Unfortunately my experience with OBOD was of the up close and personal nature with not only the leader of a Dutch seedgroup, but also with PCG himself.  It amazes me the type of people who are actually the "leaders"of these organizations.  Oh well, live and learn.  Life goes on and a new day has begun and I for one am going to take advantage of it.
