Hi there, I like to go by Kathartica, I'm a young-ish pagan currently going to school at seneca college in Toronto.  

I'm not sure what to call myself. I believe in a variety of dieties, and tend to trust the goddesses more than the gods, they just always seem to get the job done better to me! I'm very interested in learning more about energy work. I know that I can almost always feel my friend's emotions and energy levels, even when I haven't spoken to them in months.  When one of my closer friends is about to call me I often grab my phone just before the first ring, and I've even worked out how to give my girlfriend a "psychic hug" and I can feel it when she "hugs" me back. It would be nice to learn how to block out these feelings sometimes, and once I manage to block them how to unblock them afterwards!
From what little I've read, kitchen witchery seems to describe me best. I love cooking, baking and generally puttering around the kitchen.  whenever possible I like to find a way to fix things or make things that will suit my needs rather than buy something new.  I also knit, crochet, scrapbook and do a little of pretty much every art or craft you can immagine.  I tend to not be one to follow rules or ritualized actions, just go with my instincts and gut feelings, and do what feels right to me, but it would be nice to temper that with a little knowledge of the craft and how other people do it.  Mainly what I'm looking for from this site is ideas and inspiration and someone to bounce ideas off of, and maybe just a little guidance.
I am always trying to find new ways to live my life greener, I'm no saint, but I try, and I always love learning other creative ways to help protect the big blue ball we live on.
I am a nut for animals, I love them to death. I'd be interested in finding out more about totem animals and animal guides and stuff like that.  In the real world I own a quirky little hamster (he was small enough to smuggle into Residence, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much personality the little guy has) and a loveable little cock-a-poo that I find myself missing often because she lives with my parents and I only get to see her on some weekends, holidays, summers etc.  

I look forward to getting to know all of you better and learn and grow on my own twisted little path!
