Ok, seem to be n the mend, again. Crap, I can't seem to get over one thing before the next knocks me stem windin'. Now hubby is catching it. Gave him meds to hopefully shorten his. Was too sick to give a shit about taking them myself. go figure The healer never heals themselves. lol. I have spent the better part of since 3:30 Friday in bed, with the exceptin of a few moments here and there, until this morning for a few hours. Even managed a bit of food. First since Thursday. Managed to lost 6 pounds. Not a good way to go about that though. Sipping on sprite now. Water too icky. Craps aweful bad this year round here. Hope the rest of everyone is fairing better.

Kathartica, best of wishes on the wall smashing. I know that all too well. it truly sucks to be stuck even with the best of friends in a scenario like that.

Indeedlydoodly changes are round the corner.

it's now the supper hour and I've done nothing productive... a good friend stopped by and fed me though, which was good because I'm too frazzled to think about making anything for myself.  I've taken a deep breath or 20 and feel much better than I did earlier... I actually went into a bit of an anxiety attack after that last post, but I'm lucky to have some really good friends who helped me calm down and find my centre again.
Off to do some accounting homework and start chippin away at the pile of crud that needs dealt with.
Many blessings
Kathartica.

Hi everyone.

So glad you are on the mend Novia.

Kathartica those walls can be a bugger.  Hope all settles down for you.

Seems the belly bug has struck this old place.  My oldest girl had a friend sleep over on the weekend and it came over her all of a sudden.  Poor thing, she was so embarassed.  Not that we minded, just felt dreadful taking her home ill.

I think there are alot of changes ahead for many of us.  I intent to hold on tight and see were things fall.

Well hope you all have a great day.

Merry Meet Everyone!

First off I have sent healing energy into the entire castle!  My goodness, a lot of you are sick!!  So reach out with your Higher Self and grab some of that healing!!

Great article, Lady Elaine!  You should do a follow up as well...

Well, one of the reasons I have been a bit absent is I was finishing my book.....and....drum roll here....it is done!  All packaged up with the appropriate letters and outlines and etc and will be mailed to the publisher tomorrow!  Any prayers and positive energy from everyone so the publisher reads it and loves it and buys it would be gratefully accepted!!!  Will keep you posted.  Thank you!

Many blessings,
DesertMist

Hi all.

Firstly good energy for your book DesertMist, I surely hope all goes well with it for you.

This year is sure one for me.  A great deal of energy shifts and some losses.  A firend from many years ago and her dad were killed in a vehicle accident yesterday.  I have not seen them for many years, but a childhood friend.  So I pray and light candles that their passing was swift.  She and her dad died, she leaves her hubby and four young children.  So my thoughts are with them all.

On a lighter note.  I have never seen a microwave catch fire before.  OMG yesterday I was heating up some lunch for myself, put a piece of paper towel over it  ( to cut down on the cleaning of the thing later) walked out of the kitechen for two seconds to grab my water bottle and all holy hell broke loose in the kitchen.  Smoke alram was roaring, flames ( thank goodness only the inside) smoke and stink, with me doing the puck, puck dance in the middle of the kitchen.  I get all things under control, no greta losses, only the microwave.  It sure does look pretty on the inside with the melted bits and stuff.  I have never known paper towel to catch fire in the microwave.  There was no metal etc etc.  Well wonders never cease.

I also blew two light bulbs yesterday while turning the lights on.

So sparks were aflyin at my house yesterday.

WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO DM!!!!!! (bounce)  it is such an accomplishment to start somethig of such proportion, and then finish it!

I took the nicest hot long bath tonight. am feeling so much better now than I have the past couple weeks. here's hopin' I have paid my just dues to the Flu Gods! Hubby doing better after a 2 day bout with it as well.

You know I'm not sure what changes are on the horizon but it seems that they are tip toeing ever nearer.

I feel this 'need' to get my act togetheer and soon.

am in the process of kicking the kids to the curb. not literally, but letting them know that I have a boundary line now, and they are not fully welcome at whatever time they so choose, to cross it. Gave the oldest a tad bit of money to tide her over until her paychecks resume, and told her that's it, I'm done. she's on her own. Her feet are soemwhat under her, and her life is in the shape it is due to her choices, not mine. She understood.

Gave the son the ulitmatum that he will either A move out by June, or B start paying rent to stay here. Rent to start april 2 the day after his birthday. Hey $55 a week for room, board, utilities, and laundry useage ain't bad.  (not to mention I'm what makes him on time most of the time for work!)

the youngest, well, got a couple years yet for her, lol.

kathartica, here's hopin' things mellow for you!

LE tigger pounces and huggles!

Ah, thanks novia, things certainly have. I had a big emotional blow up all alone in the quiet and safety of my room, cried and cried and cried, then laughed, then cried some more, and finally just got really determined, and had the clairity I needed to look at all my assignments, break em up into chunks, do them in order... I've got a few still to do but I've done the lion's share of it. Sometimes you just need to have a Catharsis... let it all out, and you feel so much better.  It's put me into a much better frame of mind in a lot of ways.
I believe I know what form my changes are gonna take... I'm (with any luck) gonna make the transformation from follower to leader.  I'm looking into a new summer job position that caters PERFECTLY to my skills and interests and really just speaks to me.  Though the pay could be called modest to be polite, I'd be responsible for teaching camp skills (like knot tying, packing a bedroll, tracking, trail signs, fire starting etc) to kids age 6-16 in a camp setting at my all time favorite summer camp.  AND I'll be given the freedom to DESIGN and implement the program that I'll be teaching the girls... I've already started doing some research and compiling activities... at this rate I'll have my programing for the whole summer done before I ever get an interview! So here's hoping that I haven't put the cart before the horse, that the position is still open, and that I'll get it.  For the first time in my life though I feel really prepared for whatever this interview may hold for me.  I truly think that I'm the person best suited for the position, I truly think that I can state my case well, and I truly think that I can do this!  I'm really energized about something, and it' been a good long time since I've been able to say that.  I want to cut the proverbial umbillical cord from my leaders who have taught me so well and step forward and take the responsibility that I know I'm finally ready for, and teach the next generation who will become the leaders of tomorrow.
ok got all whimsical on y'all there, but I'm just really really empowered and excited.
anyways, glad to hear that other people are starting to feel better too. All the healing energies seem to be hitting their marks! thanks to anyone who sent me soothing vibes yesterday... I know I felt some, and they're much appreciated.

Cool Kathartica, sounds like an awesome job, and sometimes we ahve to take a little less change in the pocket to do something even for a short spell that revitalizes our souls. You'll get it' I'm sure!

you know I had to dig to the back of the cupboard to find this dang cuppa thread! Shame on us all! We have not been ssharing, and I find when we are not sharing, well, we are not staying in touch! shame on me!

Been feeling oodles better, even had a song in my heart lately, less the frying part, see other thread, lol. Spring is starting to make it's appearance. Ostara is around the corner, not that I'm a practicing person, I still hold them in my heart for the days. not sure if I am doing anything for 'Easter' this year as kids are growing, and Bailey is too young.

Dunno yet. Gonna cook a turkey since I have one reaching it's age of maturity.

Sorry gotta run, oldest dropped in and is in overdrive morotmouth mode at 6:30!!! shoot me please, put me out fast! LOL

Hi everyone.

Haven't been around for a while.  Life has a funny nack of throwing things up in the air and letting them fall where they may.

Spent some time in with the little ones prep class this morning.  The teacher went to great lengths for the ester bunny to leave evedience of a visit.  Bid bunny foot prints in the flour trap they left under a hanging carrot, then all over the floor, some upturned chairs with prints on them , on the table and then out the door where he went on his way.  The kids were so excited tht he had been and left them all an egg.  I love kids at this age, so full of wonder.  They kept us all in fits of laughter for some time with their excitment.

We have a family weekend together planned for the easter break.  Not alot of happenings happening, just time together.  Some board games, movies and fun.

Hope you all have a great easter as well.

Happy Ostara everyone!!
Although it's kinda gloomy looking out it will apparently get up to around 5 degrees celsius. I guess I can't complain about that... might have snow tomorrow.
I'm looking forward to going to orangeville for the weekend, it'll be nice to see friends and family.  Hoping the weather's gonna be decent this weekend, my frisky pup desperately needs several good long walks.
Debating whether to bring the hamster home or leave him here... not sure what I'll do, his food can last him that long... but I'd kinda feel bad for the little dude not getting exercise out of the cage all weekend.  On the other hand, I know that the hour in the car is VERY stressful to him... I'll spend the day thinkin about it!
Kath tha's so sweet! aww I also love kids at that age... they're so innocent and full of awe
happy to have you with us flugleschnugle... gotta say I also agree with novia, that's a really cool name!
Blessings everyone!
Have a great long weekend!

NOw that is going above and beyond the call of duty!!!

How awesome that teachers go to such lengths.

Here in KC we were not allowed to have 'easter, or Xmas parties', but  fall, winter, and spring celebrations. the whole PC thing drive me fuckin' nuts!

Well took the youngest t6o the head dr today, per her request. I spent a few with the counselor gal, and taught her a thing or two about why her kids are like they are these day. Alot of schools fault. So much pressure. Little one's losing recess, leading to alot more diagnosis of ADD, no UEC (Under Exercised Children) New therapist than before. Was a bit worried as she is Black, well actually black/asian, she noted that on intake there was a racial issue at school with Amanda. Was worried that in it's would clam Amanda up totally, but guess after I left, she opened up and did get a bit chatty and has another appt in a couple weeks with her. Here's hopin'!

not sure what we are doing. I know I'm cookin' a turkey only because it' getting old and is thawing anyways, lol. Will get a small half ham to do for oldest, as she is antipoultry, lol. Might get some candy, not doing baskets this year, kids getting too old. Might work in some ostara things just to put a twist on it. Beebee girl is too little, although Momma is making her a toy basket. Rattles, etc, since she like things like that now. Bat the Momma, lol.

new Admin att work is not that bad, she is just 'corporate' and i get along with her ok, she is even giving me a few more things to do, which shays alot about her trusting me, as since she wa admin before, recepts never did them, lol.
