The other night I was trying to go to sleep and not having a lot of luck at it. I had just started to drift off. I started dreaming I was talking to my girlfriend but I could still feel myself laying on the bed. All of a sudden I feel something and in my mind I turn my face in to the pillow and look down. I see a lady with a pale face and dark hair coming at me fast. Before I know what's going on she reaches up and grabs me around the neck. When that happened I pulled myself out of it fast but I could still feel her in the room. What worries me about this is that I could see her very clearly and when she grabbed me I feel her hand on my throat as if someone had really tried to choke me. I left the room after it happened and I could hear her laugh when I did. The problem is she's still hear. I don't know why she's hear or what she wants but it has me on edge. If anyone knows what she is or anything that might help please let me know. Thanks

Ew!  Yucky!  I don't know what she is, but it sounds like you might need to do a major house cleansing!

I agree, and it may take a few tries.

Cleanse the house then cast a circle to keep the creepies out.  How long have you been in this house and have creepy things happened before?  Do you know the history of your home at all?

Yes, I agree a cleansing is in order whether this was an attack, a vision, or a bad dream.  Smulder some sage in the room, and possibley simmer some cleansing and protective herbs such as thyme, rosemary, or mint.  You can caste a protective circle around your bed once you are in it, but I would try creating a grid with protective stones, such as onyx or obsidean in your bed room.  Also, wearing a necklace with a protective stone or amulet to bed may help.  

Now, this may sound like the weirdest advice ever, but if you are having a bad dream or simply any dream you do not want to be in, try to move your tongue, and you will wake up.  I have actually read this in a scientific article (I'll have to look it up).  I have tried this on many occasions, and it worked every time.  I tend to suffer from dreams in which I cannot wake up, even though I am perfectly cognizant that I am asleep and dreaming.  It takes a bit of effort and willpower to try to do this while your dreaming, but moving your tongue will wake you.

I'm staying with my girlfriend at her moms house right now. I've been here about two months and I have felt things in the house before. I don't know anything about the house though. Thank you to everyone who has tried to help me. If any anyone has anymore questions or ideas please let me know. I can use all the help I can get. Oh, and how or what ever this woman is she's not just watching me but my girlfriend as well. I would also say that she is pretty strong because I have seen and dealt with things like this since I was 16. I don't scare easy, never have. But something about this spooked me and made me feel like it was best to get out of the room. I ended up sleeping with the light on to make her leave me alone.

You def got yourself an issue there.  She is one who needs to be dealt with severly and swiftly!

More than a cleansing I'd opt for a good ol fashioned banishing, followed by said cleansing.

Although it was not a situation where I was attacked directly by a spirit, I did need to protect myself from some very negative energy a few years back.  A partner who was cheating on me and trying like hell to hide it and project the blame onto me.

I was able to sleep easy when I surrounded myself with a pale baby blue almost white caccoon of energy, even if he invaded my space and came into my bed instead of sleeping on the couch or guest room.  After about 3-4 nights I'm certain he was aware of the energy, because he never came into the room again.  

Untill the space is cleansed, this may help to protect you
