I've been trying to come up with some possible way to cleanse my cubicle/office space.  I can't burn insence, or candles.

Also, due to the abundance of negative energys, I would like to protect this space for myself from that as much as possible, while at the same time inviting in prosperity and business success.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Directions for use:

• To cleanse , purify and protect stones, crystals and other objects from negativity, just lightly mist items with the spray (after testing any finished surfaces for compatibility) – This product is concentrated so a little goes a long way. If the essential oils leave spotting on the surface, simply wait a moment and then polish them away with a soft cloth. As a bonus, you now have a cloth that has been treated and may be used to wrap smaller items in to protect them from negativity too! (I do not believe in waste!)

• To protect your Tarot deck, just spray lightly on the outside of your Tarot bag or box and let dry before putting the cards back in, To treat the cards themselves, I would suggest a Sea Salt mixture instead: put a little sea salt in a dish or on a paper towel. Spray lightly with your Smokeless Smudge and leave in the sun to dry. When salt is fully dry again, you can put just a little of the salt mixture into the tarot bag with your deck. If you want to spray lightly onto the cards themselves as I do, please test a tiny spot for colorfastness first and hold the bottle at least 1 foot away when misting the cards. Just a little bit of this spray is all you need and I wouldn't want you to harm your deck!

• To cleanse yourself, first, test a small spot inside your elbow to make sure you aren't allergic to any of the oils, herbs, etc. Apply just a little and do not wash there for 24 hours. If the spot is ok and not irritated after 24 hours, then you're not overly sensitive and may apply the spray directly to your skin. You will feel an immediate cooling sensation. This is normal due to some of the herbs I use. When I use it, I start at my head and mist very lightly all down the body, spraying 2-3 times, which is enough to work it's magic right to the floor!

• For cleansing and clearing the environment, Lightly mist the area where the cleansing, purifying effect is desired, making sure not to overlook corners, both high and low – Negative energy tends to gather in these often overlooked places..

• For any other applications, just make sure the item or area sprayed is not sensitive to the oils by testing first. Do not use on pets, as the oils will sometimes irritate their sensitive noses and may even be toxic to some small animals.

Crystals would work to keep out unwanted energies, try hematite, quartz crystal, bloodstone, malachite, lapis lazuli

Good afternoon.

For protecting your space, I would try setting up a grid with small crystals.  In fact, crystals are some of the best tools you can use in office magic; they're discrete and powerful.  You could also create a protective circle around your cubicle using a protective oil like lavendar or rosemary.

At my office, I have created a small prosperity altar.  I have it in an area that can't be seen, but as you're in a cubilce, I think you can adapt it.  I brought in a mid-sized jewelry box with a flat lid.  I put some money, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, and allspice inside.  On the top, I have a little soap stone bowl with a lodestone I feed each week.  I have the bowl sitting inside a jade braceltte.  Beneath the bowl, I have a tiny tarot card associated with jobs and wealth (I can't think which off the top of my head).  On each side of the bowl, I have a CHinese turtle statue.  Around the bracelette, I keep a quartz, pyrite, and tigerseye.

I would reccemmend doing something like this, but putting the altar inside a box, and then in one of your drawers.

I have everything I need to Make that.  I don't know why I never thought about a spritz for the office.  I've also thought about hanging a mirror on the wall behind me to reflect the negative energy back out of my space.  I haven't studied this or read it anywhere, but something in my gut tells me it would help.

Using mirrors to reflect energy  is a common practice in fung shui so I'd say your gut feeling is probably right.

I used to have a spritz sage spary and used it often when I worked at the Museum. i need to get some more. The bowl sounds much like something you can disguise as a potpourri.

Don't forget there is plain ol energy work/sheilding practices.

I'll be making the spritz this weekend.  Just have to hope that the scent doesn't bother the woman on the other side of  my cubicle.  She whines about everything and compains (to me) all fregging day long.  Part of the protection is from HER alone.  You've heard of the Emotional Vampires, the types of people who unwittingly suck you of your energy just by being who they are.  She's one.

I have room for a small alter at my desk.  I'll just have to gather a few things to create it.

Thanks everyone for you input.

I've actually decorated my cube to reflect the elements and to bolster my protection bubble.  Plants on the North side, a couple of wind chimes on the East, an unburned candle and a battery-operated tealight in a pretty holder to the South, and a small desktop fountain to the West.  I even have a pendulum hanging as a decoration!  A few strategically-placed crystals, and voila! the best-dressed (and protected) cubicle in the joint.  Good luck with your cube EarthMother!
