Hi Everyone,
I haven't had a lot of time to post lately as I am caring for my dad who has had a stroke, but I was hoping I could ask all of you to send good wishes for one of my furbabies.  She came to us as a stray about 3 years ago and tested positive for feline leukemia and fiv.  We have had a place to keep her isolated from our other furbabies and she's done pretty well overall.  She has the bouts with upper respiratory and urinary tract infections and has responded well to antiobiotics.  However, today she doesn't want to eat and her balance is poor.  Her breathing is a bit shallow as well and her eyes are weak.  I called the vet and he said she will probably just go to sleep and not have any distress.  I have decided to let her go here at home, but my heart is breaking.  I'm crying so much I can barely see the words as I type.  Please just send her lots of love and a clear passage for the Rainbow Bridge.  I have told her i love her so much.  i just hope she knows and can feel it in what is left of her life here and on into her next life...

If you all could do this, i would be so grateful....

I am so sorry to hear about your fur baby.  I have had cats with these infections before.  It sounds like she is at the end.  from what your describing her end will come quickly and then she will no longer be in pain.  Just know that you made her life better and made her last years comfortable.  I am sure she will wait for you on the other side.

I believe your furbaby ended up with you for a reason and now at the end she knows how much she was loved...Being there for her is all you can do...and know that to a cat , that is alot, they  a re so sensitive to our emotions, Love and Light, Lavendar-Ice

I was listening to some ladies talking the other day in a metaphysical shop I like to go to and one lady had mentioned a pet that had passed on that she missed very much.  The other lady explained that that pet had come to her for a purpose.  She knew that it was time to move on, and her love would remain behind.  
so, I pass that information on to you as well.  Your kitty is aware of her destiny and knows that she must go.  Know that she has loved you deeply and that love cannot be changed except in physical form.

Thank all of you for your kind words.  My baby is still hanging on...  she's just really quiet and still, but not suffering.  I don't know if she'll be with me tomorrow or not.   I have told her how much i love her and told her it is okay to go....  I hope she understands...

Prayers and blessings to you and your fur baby.  It is always a sad time when we loose one of them.  I still get a visit from time to time from one of my girls ( she has been gone for two years now).  I see her out of the corner of my eye on the steps or walking around the corner of the room.  They are always with us, just like our human families.
