Hey everyone--

Does anyone have any recommendations on books or sites pertaining to the Runes?  I'm looking for something that's as about as historically accurate as you can get, and not doctored up with all this modern New-Agey stuff, but I don't know where to even begin to look.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This http://www.sunnyway.com/runes/ website has a lot of your basic information. I think it will be a little difficult to find a lot of information on the history of the runes because there is so much controversy. I don't think that the runes were used in quite the same way as we use them now (for divination), but not 100% sure. This ( http://www.adula.com/runes_history.htm )website has some interesting info as does this one Let me know what you find out. I've just started working with runes myself.
