I have been practicing the art of thoughtform magick for about 5 years or so now, and i would like to address an issue that many people have in the creation of their thoughtforms. The issue is the one of free will. Your thoughtform does not have to have free will, however, I won't deny that it makes them a bit more interesting, especially watching them develop their own personality in regard to their environment and the experiences that they encounter.
When making a thoughtform, it is always wise to make a "death date" a date in which your thoughtform disappears and loses all energy. They can be recreated, but this is to ensure that they don't grow too powerful and turn against you. I find that 1/2 a year to 1 1/2 years is efficient.
In order to maintain a hold on your thoughtform to be in control of any unwanted actions such as this, I found that creating a sigil to activate this death date before its proper time works very well. In doing this, free will or not, you still have a binding on your thoughtform so that they will harm none. Using sigil magick in the creation of thoguhtforms, you must announce to your thoughtform upon creation when naming it and describing its reason for creation, the sigil and what happens when you activate it. You can make them activate by burning the sigil, or writing the sigil in a certain color, or using an activator word. Get creative. Thoughtform magick is the basis of "If you can think it, you can make it."
Another way to use sigils in thoughtform magick to control free will or another aspect of your thoughtform is you carry a few sigils in a small pouch or small box. I use sigils for death date, to calm a thoughtform if something makes it upset or angry (you can make emotions, but you have to be specific when doing so, and this is aside from free will. it took me a year and a half to get the emotions right on my thoughtform, Rose.), I also use one for placing my thoughtform in my necklace, ring etc of choice. The possibilities are endless. Just be sure to create a death date when doing so in case something goes wrong, after all, thoughtforms react as the energies put into them do. If you are angry when making them, it will be angered as well. Keep your thoughts clear and your mood balanced.
Bearing this in mind, creating a free will thoughtform is a lot less difficult than it seems at first. feel free to message me if you have any questions about any of this, or if you would like to understand more about thoughtform magick from myself, but remember, No Person knows everything about anything. Research it more, talk around, and post in the forums.
I wish you success in the creation of your thoughtforms and i hope that this is of some help to someone. Thank you and blessed be.
