WARNING: Very Anti-Pagan

Man, these guys kill me.  Seriously, I cannot get enough of anti-paganism.  It's so passionate, so inspired, so . . . completely ignorant.  It always seems to say so much more about xians than pagans.  Here's the link if anyone wants to waste 30 minutes.

Interesting how this person/group can assume such nonsense by reading one book, citing "the spiral dance" and saying that many witches come to paganism because of said book.  (I haven't yet read the book, but will now!)  
The problem with the spoutings of anti-paganist xstians (yeah, it is good to take "christ" out of the word, because they aren't really following HIS teachings according to the book, either!) is that they assume so much out of so little, and they do it according to what THEY believe, forgetting that not all cultures, traditions and beliefs are the same.  They expect us to believe in their Satan, who is THEIR GOD OF THE UNDERWORLD (Hello!)...and they say they are monotheistic...ptah!
Did you realize that in Genesis, in the beginning, God refers to himself as "we"?  Yeah.

Monotheists?  They say exactly what we say in response to the same question of worshipping more than one deity.  "We worship ASPECTS of the one deity!"

I deal with type of mentality almost every day here in the Deep South. Remember, that there are Pagans who are fundies too....they can be just as bad...

It is always best in situations like these to smile, and move ahead. Those who wish to be open minded will be, if a person is strong in their belief (no matter what their Spiritual persuasion) NO ONE will change their mind...

That site is way too much fun.  I can already tell I'm going to spend too much of my time there.  Thanks for the link LadyE.  I don't know why, but I honestly can't get enough of sincere, pagan-hating from fundamentals.  I actually have a collection of over the top essays my wicca-haters.  It probably means I have some sort of psychological problem, but their misconceptions about the craft always make me so glad I left fundamentalist, straight laced religion.

At work, I constantly face this and just keep a straight face because both my mentors are Christians though India is a country and esp. Mumbai being so metropolitan is highly mixed. Now, they always want me to use Christian prayers, verses and the idea of "God" and I dont want my children to pick up creation only in the Christian way (I teach at a Waldorf school so such things do crop up sometimes) because there is an excuse that Steiner himself did it that way.

It is so interesting because it claims to be a holistic system of education and Dr. Rudolph Steiner himself has written so many books on the occult and claims to be a seer and whatnot himself. I have read many of his occult works and mind you, some of his ideas are really "out there" but still acceptable. I know a little away from the topic at hand but you may have to read closely to catch his meanings and I have read all the books in the bibliography so I just have most of this info myself.

Here's a question to pose for any xstian who gets in your face.

Question. If Jesus died for all sins, what do you think would happen if
Satan went into a church and asked for forginvess?
The chruch states, any church, that all one has to do is ask for
forgivness and it is granted. Why canit Satan do that? He is after
all an Angel of God, a fallen angel true, but still of and from God.
And if God, now Iam not talking about the Creator, Im talking about the
xstian God, would not forgive Satan, then isnt the xstain God promoting
evil? By not forgiving, God is telling Satan, you keep up what your doing,
make the people suffer so that they will believe in me.
I havnt ment a xstian yet who can deal with this question without kinda
loseing it.
JUst my thought for the day on how stupid xstians can be.

If we're all children of God, then why is Jesus the only son of God...
God the creator first said "I am", as in "I exist", and we all can too. So go, create!
If Jesus died to take away all our sins, then why is the Christian religion still rooted in sin and guilt?!?
the idea of "original sin" proves christians everywhere missed this hippies point...it's my understanding that he wanted us to all be ok with being human, that we're all living life in the human realm, with the limitation of a human, and whatever has happened, we've lived through, we've dealt. it's OK.
there was enough fish because he fed them what they needed, not what they thought they needed, and in giving what we need, he fed the world...not split fish for ****'s sake...

Oh let the hypocrisies of the catholic church begin, there is just so many. One of the funniest I have seen is them explain away fossils... It is funny!!! They say fossils were place on earth by the satan to confuse us.... Just too funny...... Oh btw did you know the Vatican houses the worlds largest collection of porn....
