Good morning everyone!  Its another lovely day!

Last night I perused pbs.org and had a very good time watching some very informative shows.  I've recently discovered "Secrets of the Dead" and I went back and watched an interesting episode about Atlantis and the Minoan Culture, so I'm really looking into that now.  I downloaded a couple of things from the download section about it and later today plan to read them.  It was extremely interesting.  I also watched a back Nova episode about the reconstruction of the Parthenon and how they have found a lot of archaeological secrets hidden within the structure.  Wow.
Anyway, I feel a lot smarter today... Laughing

Mornin' all,
Two cups later and the clouds are clearing...ahhhhh! My daughter just came in this AM with her BB and her new kitten who is taking great pleasure in stalking our old male cat. All having a great time and providing an amusing morning.

Have been off and on on this site as I am going thru many attempts at life changes. Thought I was moving and then allowed myself to be talked out of it Mad . Every time I'm here (on-site) the mists clear.  I wonder at all of you who have created a life melded with your true selves.

Thanks for being living examples of what's possible.

Greetings Everyone,
I won't even ask how everyone is doing because it definately sounds more interesting than here but that will soon change here too.  I called the old place I worked at to see if I was on re-hireable status and they said yes.  So now all I'm doing is waiting for my old supervisor to leave which should be next week and then apply for some more jobs.  I haven't received Hobbit from the vet yet.  They said it could take up to a month before they get him.  I have to find a special place to put him.  I really need to work on getting my house cleaned.  I found this article somewhere about houseclening in the magickal sense and it said that when you dust you think of one thing and when you mow you think of another and it went on and on.  Needless to say since I didn't copy it when I saw it the first time I can't find it again for the life of me.  But anyhow.  Jon is practicing his BMXing for the competition on the 4th of July.  It is really hard to watch him because I still see him as my baby not the 13 year old he is.  He has already informed me that if he crashes and burns I can't come running out into the middle of the park to check on him.  I don't think I will be able to stand there and just watch.  But anyhow.  I better get going for now.  I will talk to everyone later.  Until then Bright Blessings

May the road rise to meet you.

Greetings Everyone,
Well I am getting on here kind of late today.  We had some pretty bad storms today.  And Alex and my mom called me this morning at 6 in the morning because Alex was going through one of his rough times.  So I ended up over at his apartment and didn't get back until about 10.  Then I took Jon back over to  my moms so he could go to the park and practice some more.  I understand about the skateboarding thing too.  Because he does that also.  Give that boy a set of wheels and he will try to jump something.  And each time he does it I know I am alive because my heart jumps and lets me know it is still in there  Laughing .  But as Ray said you have to let him do the things he loves doing even if you watch it like you  are watching a really bad horror movie Scream .  Anyhow.  I need to get with it and sit down and write down my goals and such for a New Beginning Ritual I'm doing on the New Moon.  I will have to talk to Ray tomorrow about subscribing.  I know he won't mind and will tell me to definately go  ahead because it is something that I believe in.  I just like to let him know especially with me not working right now and all the money coming from him.  Well I am actually getting tired now so I think I will do a little reading, write in my journal and then go to bed.  I hope everyone has a great day and I will talk to everyone soon.

Bright Blessings

Oh what a beautiful morning... 666((   (We need a music note smiley!)
My cat is busily chomping down salad out of my potted patio garden, my dog is puking up the lamb bones we fed him yesterday, and Mr. K is snoring so loud the neighbors can hear, But, the sun is shining and all is right with this little space.  One gets used to those little oddities of animals and man.  What can I say?

Hope everyone has an oddly happy day, too!   (blob)

uggh.... I need coffeeeeee..
Oy, or maybe some hair of the dog that bit me... feelin a little rough this morning!  Spent the weekend at the trailer, which turns into a big drink fest... Beer and cooler bottles are easy enough to count, but once we got out the blender and start refillin cups... well lets just say I drank more than I shoulda when I work this morning...
Off to shower and coggee... erm... coffee
was a fantastic weekend though, spent a tonne of time with the neighbor kids, I think some of them don't get enough attention up there.  One youngin is in competitive hip hop (she's only 7, it's so cute!) and she was showing me her moves, and then trying to teach me.  She says I'm hopeless... Oh bother.  I also had a gang of kids playing frisbee in the strip of lawn in front of our trailers.  teachin em how to throw it right, how to catch it.  Of course that part of the park, nice and wide and green as it is, is also a big ditch that was full in the bottom with about 4 inches of water, so there was much slipping and sliding and splashing, and it was raining at the same time... we all ended up drenched and muddy, but golly does it ever feel good to do that sometimes!!
... and then soon after the blender came out.... and then it all gets a little hazy... lmao!!
ok, off to shower, gotta work soon... gonna need a double expresso to get me through this one!

Poor Kat!!!!! Srves ya right havin' so much fun! Shame on you! What were you thinking? yada yada yada, LOL

Glad you and the 'little kids' had such a blast!! Next time, hide the blender!  Laughing Sometimes we just gotta let our inner kid out to romp and play! (I'm still lookin' for mine, seem to have agame of hide and seek going and she's winnin' Laughing )

Yeah SM we do need a singing smiley of some sort!!! or at least a music note!  Laughing Nothin' worse than wanting to sing and not a tune to be found!!!

I don't know about you spiraling but I'm sick and tired of storms and rain. Thinking we got more rolling thru in the next day or two again!!! Sheesh been trying to hang laundry out, but hard to do when it just ends up wetter than when I hung it out! And with our rain, sheesh ya gotta rewash it! yuk!  Mad

Fortunately all my kids have forgotten they own things with wheels! yeah me!

have to make my youngest a dr appt for this afternoon. I guess the girl across the hall from her friends where she likes to try and live, pissed her off and she hit her, but caught her shoulder blade. Arm hurts like heck. Did it Saturday, and didn't wanna tell me cause she'd have to come home. Might be fractured. Doesn't hurt all the time, just most of it. no swelling, a little bruising, but better safe. That and she'll not be going back over for a spell!!!

Well off to start my day!

Morning Cuppas!!

Ok, you might think this pathetic but I subscribed this morning using my own paypal account!!  Actually got in and got everything going all by my  exceedingly techno-challenged self!!  Ok, I forgot my password and had to change it around but it all worked out in the end!!     Anyway, I'm proud of myself and my affirmation for the day is "I CAN manage forays into cyberspace!!".

Kathartica congrats on your herbal family!!  I am trying more and more to grow my own stuff from seed and then collect the seed from those plants for the next crop.  My delphiniums have done exceptionally well this year, started last year from seed.  And the hummingbirds love them.  So far I've tried nettles, chives, breadseed poppies, cosmos, monarda, columbine, parsley, and echinacea.  It's so rewarding (and addictive).  They are like family to me.

And congrats Lady Elaine on your goldfish babies!!!  How cool is that?!!  I love those backyard ponds, they add such serenity to a garden.  I don't think they would work here in NY though, poor things would be frozen for half the year at least!

I love this time of year, It stays light outside for so long, and the birdsong is wonderful.  Our local craft fair is this weekend (yah!) and then the Ren Fest in Sterling starts next weekend (YAH!), and then vacation at the beach in Maine at the end of the month (super yah!)

On a really gross note...... I spent a couple of hours yesterday pulling those dang caterpillars off my poor rose hedge.  Pulled off about 2 QUARTS of the things!  My poor roses were eaten down to practically just the stems.  A friend at work said "I just spray sevin all over everything!"  AAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!  This is my third year at going organic and wouldn't dream of using poison, besides, I harvest the rose hips for jelly!  It's wonderful on a dreary February morning to have your own rosehip jelly to spread on toast!

Well off to work......not so bad though with all the fun stuff coming up in the next few weeks!

I'm finally up and awake, in that order.  The coffee is almost done brewing.  I think I'm going to brave the traffic after bit and go down to my local witchy store.  I need mugwort.  ...and I need to get out of this house.  Summer off isn't what its cracked up to be if you're tight on moolah and can't go anywhere or do anything!
However, it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, so I'm going to put on my Mr. Rogers smile and try to discover new things.  Maybe later I'll try to find some online episodes of Nova or Secrets of the Dead or something that will make my brain kick in.  Mr. K works at 3 today, so I'll be on my own with the animules who, although are very sweet and loving companions, don't converse much.   (cat)  (dog)

Love and hugs to each and all!

Mornin' All,
Three days ago I thought we'ld never break the drought going on here. My lawn, trees and heart felt parched by the heat and dryness. Woke up to a fine mist which then turned into a steady drizzle. I know so many of you have been overwhelmed with rain, but it is such a blessing here.  The frogs came out last night while I was out and kept me company, felt like I had guardians.  Thanks to all who stopped by last night.  It has been so long since I opened up to that part of myself that I wasn't sure what to expect.

Have a wonder filled day,
Coffee, coffee,....................................!
