Well as for me I'm just sitting around the house cleaning things that haven't been gone through in years! I have been changing my sons meds again and trying to keep my mind off of the fact of him having to have surgery! Not working very well though. The Dr. office just called to tell me they finally got the authorization from the ins. co. to have his test on Friday. I hope things go well! I need to get back to the cleaning, got to stay busy. Hope everyone is having a great day.

  How is everyone today?  I GOT OFFERED A JOB TODAY (boing) I got a call this morning when I woke up from the Wal-Mart store close to my house and they wanted to know if I wanted to come in for an interview.  I said sure.  When I got there they looked at my resume and asked me why I didn't want to go back to the Corporate Office.  I told them I didn't want to deal with the traffic, stress, and gas prices.  So then after the interviewed me they offered me a full time job.  So I went to take the drug screening and they said it should be back within 48 hours.  So it all worked out great.  Well anyhow I better get going.  What are you going to name your cat jelly?  I'm glad you found a nice job Kath.  Hope your ankle gets to feeling better Seamonster.  I hope everyone has a great day.

I named her "Grizabella"  I mostly say "Bella"  You can tell I am sticking with the T.S. Eliot's "Cats" theme and since I got her so tattered she really reminded me of the original Grizabella in the play the old former Glamour cat, who now in ruin yearns to go to the heavyside layer....
OK now I gotta go put on my soundtrack, I am addicted for life!
BTW, she is doing really well adjusting.  My other cat Theo (Promrtheus)  is not so thrilled and they can live together so far very warily however I KNOW these 2 will never cuddle.
Her skin and hair is sensitive but already looking healthier with the regular nutrition and she is beginning to trust me.  I will get and post some picks.

I know I have been absent from the boards for a few days...and for that, I apologize....just working on other things here in the castle. I Am always creating and decorating new rooms for us to wander in!

It's been so hot here in Northern Louisiana that I am at a loss for words. Heat indices of anywhere from 102 to 105*F each day, hugh humidity and NO rain.....unbearable outside - even dangerous! We are due some rain today....at least a possibility, and we sure could use it! I am effected quite intensely by the New Moon Coming up tommorow (August 1st). It is knocking me out psychically....so I am going to do a heck of alot of meditation, and working on the site to keep my mind occupied....as far as personal interaction.....it ain't a good thing right now...lol...as soon as the energies die down, I should be a bit more interactive....

Just thought I would check in and let ya'll know I am thinking of you and busy as a bee....

Was wondering where you'd got to, LE.  We've had the same sort of weather here in Houston.  Although Dolly wasn't nice to the Southern Texans, it brought us rain and cool temps, but once it was all over, we were left with that buzzing, chirping humidity.  AAACK!!  

For me, school starts Monday, so I'm getting antsy.   Although having time off is nice, sitting around the house can get mighty boring, so.........

Woke up when Mr. K got home this morning and sat with him, then went back to bed to take a little nap.  I have the most vivid dreams when I sleep really late!  The one I had this morning should be made into a comedy movie!  

Satan drives a Black VW bug (the old version) with tinted windows and a license plate that says GO2HEL, and he looks like Santa in black leather and shades!     His henchman drives a Hawg!  (black of course).  So, he tracks me and Mr. K down after following us around a bit, pulls up along side us while we're walking along a country road and says, "Hop on in!"  Not much room left in the back seat behind but, we crawl in anyway.  I'm laughing as I get in and buckle the seatbelt shaped like a trident   .  I want to ask him if there's a party goin' on in Hell.

Mr. K's phone rings and wakes me up at this point, so now I'm up and giggling at this funny dream.  I don't know if I'll tell Mr. K about it because, naturally, he will see it as an "omen" that I should "change my ways" (where I will remind him that he, too, was crawling into the black vw).  I did a lot of negativity clearing stuff yesterday and I think that's what all the black is about, and seeing Satan look like my idea of the King tells me that I'm finally letting some form of the Masculine deity take control of my life.  (Of course, whenever I change, Mr. K MUST change with me because he's going along for the ride. )  I suppose the henchman on the Harley is some sort of guide, but he was so silent and hmmm, henchmanny.  Maybe he's just some hot-lookin' guy in leathers, I don't know.  As for taking a ride to Hell (or Hel on the license plate), perhaps its a reference to the darker part of the year, the shadow side of myself.  Maybe I still have a lot of journeys to the underworld to take before I'm completely free of whatever is "haunting" me.

Any other suggestions, anyone...anyone?

(wow) Seamonster...quite the dream! Usually death is symbolic. So is something ending and something else beginning...involving travel? Possibly Germany? Don't ask me why I said Germany, it just popped in my head....as for the color black, it has alot of wonderful meanings as well as the mundane ones. Perhaps there is a "dark before the dawn?" I just get the feeling that something big is beginning and something else is ending....involving transportation. And Germany. LOL That's my 2 cents...

We had a couple of tremendous storms come thru here last night...and this morning there are branches down from all the trees....Battery even woke me up and told me to change bedrooms last night because he was afraid we would lose a huge tree - on the house - it did lose a huge..and I mean HUGE branch...it broke the fence and just missed the bedroom. Kewl. This morning it is so fresh and cool out......but not for long. Later today, a literal steam bath with temps around 102*F and heat indices at 110-115*F. YEA Louisiana!! Deep South baking.

Congrats spiral on your job...it sounds like it will all work out for you....I am glad things are calming down.

Jelly your kitty sounds so precious...it'll take some time for the adjustments with your older cat, but they will be fine...it's just that "warm-up" period can be so stressful for the owners more than the kitties! LOL

Good Morning, my friends!  

LE, that's a great observation.  Actually, I start school tomorrow and have to drive 30 miles one way to get to it!  (Maybe the whole travel thing?)  I am part German from my Mom's side, but maybe it has something to do with childhood as my Dad had a vw and so did my Gramma when I was a kid.  I loved them.  (Gramma's vw was red and named "Sweet William"--she would put on the gospel station and keep the beat with her foot on the accelerator. ) School starting is always a new thing as they are new kids and a new system this year.  Could be.
I am hearing you on the heat.  We're climbing up, also, and doesn't look like we're going to get much rain in the next couple days.  July missed out on almost 6 inches of rain for the normal year.  UGH!  No, it's actually waiting to rain for when I'm driving the freeway back and forth to work.

I Hope all is well with everyone.  Take it easy this beautiful (and hot) Sunday.  Make every moment Magickal!!  

Ok, well, didn't Edouard just sorta sneak up on us here in the Gulf?  Hmmm...Wish for a rainstorm, get a Tropical Storm!  Gotta love the power! (wind)

Bright blessings to one and all! sorry I haven't been here for awhile, but had to take care of my son Derek. His final test was Friday, and he has been out of it since than. He is getting better at sleeping at night. The Dr. said we need to take him to see a Nero surgeon to review all the test he has been through the last 2 months. Everybody just send as much good energy his way PLEASE in hopes that we wont have to put him through brain surgery, unless it can get rid of his severe seizures for good. The poor boy is only 7 and looks like he is stoned out of his mind most of the time lately, but that happens when you have to take him off one med to put him on another at the same time. Unfortunately it is a very slow process, you have to lower and raise seizure meds very slowly. Well I'm off to see if I have missed much since I have been gone, and while I'm awake anyway. Maybe I'll be able to find something to help me sleep just a little more, unless somebody has any suggestions on something that can help make my brain stop working overtime!?!

Hi everyone.  

Firstly  Icymoon blesings to you and your son for a good out come to all.

Hard to catch up with you all after being out for some time now.

Good to see you all doing so well even with a few grips thrown into the pile.

I am so excited as I am going on holidays in about six weeks time so am working really hard towards that.  I am going home after not being back for nearly ten years now.  I am very excited to see my nan, and many family members.  My grandfather had a chuckle on the phone when I told him of my up coming visits that no one will know me anymore.  I expect he is right as I have gown through so many transformations since last being back there.  I will be wonderful to take the kids over and my new man for everone to meet.  The most of the family have not met him or my youngest two children.  So it will be a huge visit for us all.

Well good to see Novia's energy back in the castle.

Am off to lurk around for a while.
