This is just a friendly reminder to vote tomorrow. (If you haven't already done so.)  This is our opportunity, as pagans, to influence the future of our country.
I made the mistake of not voting the absentee ballot last election (I was out of the country) and have regretted the last four miserable years.  Don't make the same mistake I did!  GET OUT THERE AND CAST YOUR STONE!!

I agree!!! If you dont vote you have no right to complain... Go out and vote and make history.. No matter what party you choose, it will be a important piece of American history. Now with that said, I want to go to Washington and be the nation's first Wiccan prez.... Morgan "Corum" Silverhawk in 2012.....lol

I'll vote for ya!  Wouldn't that be a lovely day, when an "out of the broomcloset" Pagan/Wiccan could win a major presidential election.  Think of all the changes that would be made in the US then!  

I voted, was sad to see that I didn't have the option to vote for none of the above!

I didn't get a chance to vote.  The voting place on my registrating card is on the other side of Sharpsburg and I have no idea where that is:(  Ben said he'd drive me there if he got home intime but by the time he got home we didn't have time to get there.  But Mccain won in Georgia.  I was planning to vote for him anyway.  I really like Palin!  Even if she is a Christian, she seems level headed.  

But Obama scares me.  He is to extremist and I think his ideas would be bad for the economy in the long term.  If you put all the tax burden on the business owners and give the poor too many hand outs the business owners are going to cut corners.  and one of the ways they can do that is to A.  Out sources jobs to other countries and B. Get rid of all their full time employees and have only part timers.

And as for the socialized health care don't even get me started!  Just ask someone in England or Canada how that is working out for them.  In England you can't get treatment if you are past retirement age because you are no longer a contributing member of society thus low priority.

I really fear for the future of this country if Obama wins.  Of course to many people don't think about what will happen in the long term.  They only know that the democrats promise them the world right now.  We all know what they say about things that sound to good to be true.

Yay! I don't have to buy a black wreath and place it on my door for the next four years!

We need someone intelligent in the White House.

I am honestly quite elated that Obama took it the way he did.  I think he will be a good leader.  But I also have renewed faith in the people of the US that they have overcome race and "whatever" to give him a chance.  

Maybe this is normal in the US, but I was really shocked when I was watching the US election to see the voting divided by blacks, white women, independents(what are they?).  I think there was another catagory, but I can't remember what it was.  Did this happen in other elections or because Obama was in the race?

Ok, I maybe a flaming Liberal but I think Obama will do just fine. McCain was cool in 2000 but he changed drastically. In the olden days he wasnt afraid to cross party lines but now he totes the party line. If both him and Palin would have stuck to the issues and not mud slinging they would have done alot better. all 3 of them (palin, mccain and obama) have associations they arent too proud of. Palin had the whole troopergate thing with her ex-brother-in-law, McCain had the whole Savings and Loans Scandel with Keton and Obama had Ayers and Wright, but only Palin and McCain made a big thing about things. But I am glad it is all over with. Let the healing begin...

I still think they should add in a write in space in case someone has a better idea! I'da wrote in Mickey!!! (Mouse that is!) I don't think either guy was a good choice personally.

I'm with sundown neither of the above woulda been my second choice over write in Mickey.

Today, a gal called in to the radio station and asked them what time the polling places closed!  

I think the best thing about the election is the way people who thought they couldn't make a difference.....did!  It's like a breath of fresh air blowing through. I only hope he can make a dent in this mess we are in.  and stop paying out money to "save" Wall Street.
