Sorry for abandoning the Castle everyone.  I've had a bad case of "bitchiness" coupled with hectic work, which would basically amount to me biting off someone's head for saying "hello."  Even if I was able to be here, I'm pretty sure my "energies" would have contaminated the Castle.

I will be getting back to posting in the book club, so if you have missed that, I will be starting once again.  I will be off work for about two weeks in December--around the 24th to Jan. 2nd, so I will not be here for that duration.

I am experimenting with "leaving my shields down, " I suppose you would say.  At this point, there are times I feel as though I have emotional nerves, and every ending of those nerves is exposed.  I had one really bad bout with this, but I think I am slightly better.  I've found that I am actually a really intuitive person, it just hurts so much that I've developed uber-shields over my life that alienated me from the gift.  I am happy that I have progressed to the point that I am able to glean that I have intuition and am not purely a creature of logic, but at this point I am at the "block everything out" or "open completely" level of skill, so I apologize if I become a bit abrasive at times.

It looks we have been unnaturally quite lately here.  I'll stop in more often and try to liven things up a bit Wink

YAY!!  YIPPEE!!  YAHOO!!!   (boing)  (bounce)  (clap)  I have just booked my ticket north!  I'm gonna get to SEE MY KIDS this year!!  It's been four very long, tough years, and I get to finally spend a Christmas with them.  I am so excited right now!!!  I'm going to be going up to NE Washington, up north of Spokane where there will hopefully be snow (the day AFTER I arrive).  I will get to see my Mom and Dad, and with any luck, my estranged brother, with whom I hope to form a new alliance (he is recently divorced from Satana the She-Devil).  It will be a vacation of healing and hope, and one of great renewal in many areas of my life!  It will be incredible.  There will be closures of all kinds and positive openings in other areas.  I could just burst from joy!
I'm sorry I'm babbling on like this, but if you knew how much this trip means to me...

Stacey, it's good to see you back.  You keep our mental faculties working, and when you aren't here, we sort of run low a bit.  Even "bitchy", you shouldn't stay away from us for long.  Bramble always has cookie, and I'm sure there's a coffee pot around here somewhere.  Smile

Okay, okay, I know I don't post in here much....so I will attempt to play catch up a bit later on and for not following the conversations in the Cuppa, I deeply apologize.... Embarassed I am one busy Bitch-I mean witch......

But here is my blathering mind this morning.... Mad

I like to think of our Souls as being infinite. They stretch out forever, into everything, and everybody...and that we are all interconnected in some very ethereal way.

When one of us is hurting, or is happy, it affects us all....

I try each and every day to think of something and do something that will make me happy. Hopefully that energy will be sent out to those beings that need it. And it will some day reach back to me.

There is so much hurt and horror in the world right now as we go through the Earth Changes that have been predicted for so long. Both spiritually and ecologically everything is changing....and as with any birth, there is pain. But in the end there will be joy, thanksgiving and a sharing of love....

Many Souls have chosen not to go through these changes at this time...and that is their choice, they have brought forth the wisdom they needed to share and gathered the knowledge they need, and to move onto the next lifetime, if they choose. The beings that stay here on this beautiful planet through these times will have the joys of seeing either a planet and all it species survive or fail....and the human race succeed or destroy itself with its own greed and vanity.

I, as a witch, hope to help those who choose to stay, although I know it will be painful, the extreme roller coaster we call life will come to an end one day for me...and I do hope in some small way, I made a difference.

For we are all connected, by a strand....called the soul.

Just me speaking my spiritual mind this morning....and wondering how I fit into the whole.....

Hi everyone.  It sure has been a heck of a long time since I walked the halls of this wonderful place.  I have tried to read up on all of you, but the eyes have started to spin with all I have missed.  So I will just say it is wonderful to see you all once again.

Life is a fast moving wheel sometimes.  Lady E I read your post and knoew what you are saying.  We have had many friends and family pass over this year.  It got to a point of not wanting to answer the phone for news of another.  And with this I am not exagerating  -  three in one fortnight at one point.  It seems with the world the way it is a great many are going home, both young and old.  Blessings to all their souls.

My family are all well, besides the usual teenager rubbish.  All got wonderful reports from school.  My youngest turned six yesterday and this was a pause to reflect the fact that I have now entered a new fase of life.  Was a tear shed at the prep break up as no more littlies at home - their all growing up so fast.

My studies are going well and work is sssoooo very busy.  We are as usual short staffed and it seems I have gained some extra shifts somewhere along the line.

We have done our spare room up to start working from home with reiki, massage etc.  I had taken on taking booking at a local shop for treatments and thought I can do this at home.  So we have been painting and putting up nice curtains etc etc.

All of this and in there my partner was made redundant.  It seems the economic state os affairs has knocked on our door.  But we are not worrying about it, the universe will provide us with the path and resources we need.

So life is sure full.

That sounds like something that will turn out cool when you're done Kath.

Welcome back, even if for just a short spell until you are off and running again.

[marq=left:0e550f16bd]GOOD MORNING ODSS[/marq:0e550f16bd]

I believe it!!! Houstons had snow before. My Mom lived down there some years ago and they got a dusting and people thought they had a blizzard, lol, and from KS that was nothing for her.

I think the world has gone on tilt. I mean literally, a pole flip. some years ago they were talking we were over due for the changing of the pole guard. N to become S and vicey versey.

Might have to do some research on that brainfart there, lol.

Sorry I haven't been around much been doing some introspection of late. Had a couple AHA moments. A moment when the self met back up with the Self. Haven't met up with her in a very very very very, you get the point, long time.

Need to check into some hormonal cream/pill to get mys elf back in whack. Dr a couple years ago checked my hormomanl level and said it was ok, I doubt that, but whatever. I know my body and it's all geehawkered.

With the New year fast approaching I have resoluted, not to resolute! Why? You only set yourself up for disappointment and failure. We set these rediculous goals we can never hope to acheive, caue if they were that easily acheivable we'da done done it for cryin' out loud and mercy sakes!

I think the best thing we could ever 'resolute would simply to be the very best person we are capable of being IN THE MOMENT. Don't set a year goal, set a moment goal. Just my idea.

I don't know about ya'll but I surely can't get into this whole Xmas spirit. If ya see mine wanderin' around, send it my way will ya! Tried the decorating thing, nope, tried the baking thing, nope, fat enough anyways, tried the music thing, eh helps, but not there yet, siggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Oh well, Happy whatever ya celebrate for the season. Cause ya know what, you are the reason for the season.  FAMILY .

MMMM..... We are about due for a pole shift...but probably not a North/South transposition. The loss of ice in the Arctic and in Antarctica causes the balance, and therefore the axis of rotation, of the spinning ball that is the world to change from time to time. The magnetic record in the rocks shows that it has happened many times with some regularity in the past.
Let's hope it's a gradual one....the sudden ones tend to wipe most of the animal life off the land masses!

Christmas....yeah....I think the commercialism rather spoils the reason for the festival, especially for christians.
For most pagans/heathens it is Summer or Winter solstice (depending which half of the world you are on), and has a quite different meaning.
The choice of December 25th was, of course, made in the fourth century to coincide with the pagan festivals, and also to mesh with the birth date of Mithras, who, among others, has exactly the same history of birth, ministry, persecution, execution, resurrection and ascension as Jesus the Nazarene (funny that eh?...grin). The mythology of most religions have a lot more similarities than differences, which is kinda neat.

Anyway, whatever you call it, and whatever you do at this time, enjoy the break from mundane life, celibrate your bonds with the Divine, Family and friends. It is something that many only do at this time of year, more's the pity. The world would be a better place if the true spirit of Christmas lived in every heart for the entire year....
No matter what your religious persuasion (if you have one) "peace on Earth and goodwill to all" is a difficult idea to fault.

Blessings of the season to all of you, both here and everywhere in the world.

Bennath,

Good Morning Cuppa Clan!!!!

(Granted I'm being a canna type person this morning, lol. RedBull giving me wings!! Not that I don't have them, I just need help stretching them out now and again! LOL)

Seems winter has gotten here, and I so am not yet into the whole Yule spirit!!! Better yet, I'm not even gonna worry about it, if I get in it, I get in it, if not, then so be it. I will have the day off, but not sure how the day will go, and again, playing it by ear!

I'm thinking about making a Yule log/Busch De Noel for my youngests' work party on Tuesday. She has to take a covered dish, not sure what she gonna kae for that, and mine will be a special treat.

Guess we are now waiting on an ice storm/freezing rain to move into the KC area, to top off all this loverly snow we now have!!! It's purty, but getting crazy now.  Mad I still have a couple pressies to pick up!!! Hopefull in the next couple days it quiets down!!!

Bailey's birthday party is supposed to be on sunday, she'll be a big girl at one!!!
Here's here xmas pics taken a couple weeks ago, one has Momma in it too.

She was a ladybug for Halloween!

Well guess I'd best bail getting late Sheesh time flies!
