Arby's tonight!  For the last two days, we've had our friends over and "the men" have insisted on having a sort of seafood buffet   with oysters, shrimp, calamari, and some baked fish I don't know the name of, all of which they cooked (the men!) for us in the Egyptian style.  It was scrumptious, but I don't want to look another crustacean in the eye for a while (Cancer) .  Therefore, it's Arby's.

Just a large salad for one.  Son was over at a friends house for dinner tonight.  Should be home in about half an hour or so.

I don't do this every night but
Chicken Bryan (from the kitchen grimoires), whipped potatoes, canned string-beans from the garden, and strawberry pie.

Last evening I blackened some skinless, boneless chicken breasts.  I made a cream sauce from a recipe in my one of my Kitchen Grimoire cookbooks and spooned it over some fettuccini.  Cooked some green beans with almond slivers.  Umm mmm mmm.  It is so good.  Leftovers today.   I think it tastes better today than yesterday.   (cook)

Ordered out...beef shawerma with hummus, babaganoush, and yellow rice.  We also had a little left over beef soup with lasan al'asfour (literally, bird's tongue, known to us more like orzo).  Mmmm..numnum.  I'm stuffted.

Well, I'm on my own again tonight.  The boy child has Pep Band for the Hockey game and he's downing the last of the chili.  I have a bit of marinara left that I made a few nights ago.  I can boil up some angel hair and toss it all with some parmasan.  Wish I had some black olives.  Kids won't eat them, so I leave them out of the sauce, but I adore the flavor of them in my marinara.
