Semi-Homeade chicken and noodles with mash ed tatoes!

Made ane xtra large batch of Chili, so I could freeze 3 meals worth right off the start.  Ate our fill, and the rest is in the fridge for lunches and another dinner later this week.

Not as spicy as my usual, and it was made by re-grinding a large stick of venison sausage, that hadn't aged at all before being sealed and frozen.  Too soft to use any other way.  

Browned it off good to ensure it was well well cooked and the fats were mostly gone.

Rather nice once it was done.

A couple of days ago I cooked a venison roast in the crock pot with a lot of potatoes and carrots.  Well, the roast is gone, but there are a lot of veggies left.  I thought about adding some tomato juice and making a good soup to go with the fish I'm gonna bake.  I don't like to waste anything.

I made breaded chicken breast filets (with mayo instead of egg), rice, and sauteed stir fry veggies.  Nummy.

Hub was creative today...brought a huge cobb bread and pulled out the middle.  Made a gogeous chicken red curry with water chestnuits, baby corn, capsicum, chilli etc....put it in the bread *drools on keyboard* Damn that man can cook....suppose I should make an honest man out of him at some point  

Just roasted off a 1/2 pork loin roast, tossed a mean romaine and baby spinach salad and baked some dinner rolls to sloppy up all the juices with.

(chocolate)  Angel hair pasta with a meaty garlic, onion and mushroom sauce and cheeeeeese, lots of cheeeeeeeese   I know Im not meant to have lots of cheese, but damn it was nice

Tonight is going to be leftovers.

Clean out the darn fridge.  Fried Rice-Chili-Pork Roast.  Lots of stuff to warm up and eat up.

Hmmm... (clue) looks like tuna sandwiches tonight.  I really dislike my fridge this close to payday.

chicken tacos ....I had a couple of left over chicken breasts that I needed to use so I grilled those added just a touch of chili powder, shreded some monterey jack and cheddar and cut up some onion and lettuce ....added some sour cream and tortillas and we named it dinner....I sooooo did not want to cook tonight but it isnt half bad and didnt involve a lot of effort or cost...now I just need to rope someone into cleaning up the kitchen!
Oddly enough I don't mind cleaning the kitchen but it is DAMN cold in this house tonight no matter what I do I seem to have the chilly willy's.....
And No I don't have a willy......

Clam Chowder and Salad...yummmm!

Had a few left over link sausages from Sunday's Brunch, so tonight is going to be a large over stuffed sausage/mushroom/cheese omelette with buttered toast

Take out -- Pad Thai!

The weather was nice yesterday, and it inspired me to want to break out the gas grill.

Marinated pork chops grilled, fresh lettuce salad tossed with balsamic vinegar olive oil and herbs and linguini with olive oil fresh basil garlic and asiago cheese tossed in.

Dessert was pineapple cherry dump cake (more like a cobbler) with whipped cream.

Yumm yummm.

That's it. I want to go to earthmother's for dinner. Hubby worked tonight so it's just me and dog (and a cat that has no interest in my life) so it was kashi wheat waffles and canadian bacon.

Why do they call it bacon when it's not really bacon?
