LOL I oh so member them days Akina!

Now I just have to wait until they go home, go to a friends, or go hide in their room! Mad

Better yet, I just go hide in MY room, lol.

I told hubby I am, and I oh so am, going to get 1310 1/2 to put n the outside of our bedroom door! I live at 1310, so this will make it our own seperate little apartment inside our house, lol. think they'll get the point?! Twisted Evil

I love my oldest and the grand beebee, but damn she's wearin' me out! We got her moved, but now, when she went to go get her gas switched into her name, they had turned it off due to nonpayment by the people before! Go figure! Now they have to 'investigate' why the owner didn't call them and get it switched back ito his name, let them know the others had moved out, and make sure she isn't the 'other people' trying to reconnect in another name, so no gas for a couple days!  Crying or Very sad So, last night she had to bring the beebee over, after having been here all day doing laundry, to take an earshattering, blood curdling scream fest called a bath!  Shocked  Oh please dear God/dess, just shoot me now, it'll be less painful of a death!  Crying or Very sad

Sad   Aww, bath times sure can be horrid.  My son used to hate his baths with a passion.  In fact, water all together.  Right from when he was born up until he was nearly 3...bath time, shower time...all of it consisted of non stop, high pitched...screaming..mixed with biting and scratching as he got older.  I am sure my neighbours must have thought we were doing horrible things to the poor child.  Then..one day, he just didnt do it anymore  Shocked .  The day before had been the scream fest as usual, and this day nothing.  Just sat in the bath laughing and playing with the bath toys....  Peace!  After 3 yrs of hell.....finally peace  Laughing .

Kids, have to love them!!!

Merry meet.  I am new here and enjoying your posts about the screaming child in the bathtub/shower.  I am a mother of 6 children ages from 13 down to 2.  5 girls 1 boy (and a set of twins in the mix, true twins gemini's)  And my son who is 2 has no problems taking a bath, but a shower   Mad  frustration is a mild term for it.  He gets out and hes a sweet lovable little boy again.  I hope my son will pass this as yours did.

I am really glad I found this website.  Strange how things come to you.  My neighbor is a plumber and did a job for a lady, and come to find out she is a pagan and fowarded on this site to him all due to the fact he had mentioned that his neighbor is also a pagan.   Very Happy

I have been a solitary practicing wiccan and living down in Louisiana.  So I do not share my views  Wink with many people.  So it is nice to find others to talk to that understand.  Blessed be to all

Thanks all.  Its good to feel welcome somewhere.  I keep to myself most of the time because of my views, and they think I'm strange and a little odd down here in Louisiana, (I am not from here but orginally from Denver, CO.  where paganism is more accepted.) because we like to be a very eco friendly family.  I was wondering does anyone know if their is an active chapter of the sprial scouts in Shreveport or Bossier City?  I would love to enroll my twin girls (they are Cool and get them into more than just the reduce, reuse, recycle program that we have taught them, and with homeschooling I would like to introduce my children to other children and have them more socialized than they are now.  Any help will be much appreciated.

I am just sooo excited  (bounce)  (bounce)  (bounce) that I and my husband have somewhere to turn to for answers to all of our questions.

Well back to school lessons...busy busy busy...it never ends.   (LOL)

Welcome greyraven!

You actually have found a site run by a gal who lives about a stones toss from ya! LOL Then there's at least a few more ya might not be able to quite hit, but you'd come close! And one even lived in CO as well! Small small world!

things come to us in the oddest ways sometimes.

enjoy!

Welcome Greyraven.

Well I had an interesting experience just the other day.  Ben and I went over to his mom's house the other day.  Ben had to work on her lawn mower and tractor then mow then grass for her.  With his dad gone there is no one else to do it.  Ben figured it would take all day so we spent the night.  Well his room has been turned in to sort of a storage room since he moved out so we were spending the night in his little sister's room.

She died about 6 years ago.  His mom has never let go and a pagan friend who has known the family for years told me you can often feel Carrie's presence in that house still.  Well I found myself alone in the room for a few minutes and suddenly felt like some one was in there with me.  Some one wondering what I was doing there and sizing me up.  I explained that I was just looking around and that I was there with Ben and the presence left.  I think I might have met his sister.

Crying or Very sad   Sorry to hear about his loss of a sister, having lost one of my sisters, it is not an easy thing.  Interesting experience you had in her room, did she say anything?

Thanks for sharing Indigo!

Sounds like a pleasant meeting Indigo. Nice to see ya back in the castle again, been a spell, or have I lost track of time again?  Shocked

I had an experience last night. Was sitting out on the swing, had a couple drinks, just enough tobe getting all relaxified, and hubby had made a trip into he house, and left me alone siting crosslegged in the swing, just swingin' back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. I decided to just take a few and let go. Let my Self expand. I could see water ripples of silver metallic spreading outward from my center, and could feel everything that ripple encountered. it took a little more 'effort' to get my hearing to fine tune to be able to hear those little sounds we tune out anymore. In those sounds I could hear whipering. A couple were greetings of 'hello' nice of you to visist again. Long time no see' crazy things like that. I could feel the energies. some felt small, like wel, like earth dwellers of 'other sorts', LOL One made me laugh, musta been out loud and about the time hubby was coming back outside, it was a more 'omnipresent' boooming voice, 'bout time ya came back round'.

To say the least was a bit wild, and mind expanding. Guess it's safe to say I need to spend more time 'in that zone', lol.

They missed you, Novia.  Very interesting.  Sounds like you oughta visit them more often.   Very Happy
Very cool encounter, Indigo.  Sis seems to approve then, if she left you in peace...hee, hee.
You got me thinking.  I believe that everywhere we go we are surrounded by spirits.  They aren't just in "haunted houses" as is so popularly thought.  Some spirits are just more aggressive with their communication than others, and some people are more in "tune" than other people.  We are surrounded by multitudes (as Jesus, himself, told the Christians in the bible) that have passed on.

The weather today is beautimous.  We had some pretty heavy thunderstorms all night long, so today, everything is moist, but the sun is coming and going behind his little magical cloud.  I have four roses blooming on my potted rose bush which really add a lot of color to my teeny weeny little stairwell garden.  I'm still alone with the mutt for another week and two days, but, I'm used to the boredom now.  At least I can do my "witchy" thing undisturbed.  I had to laugh at my husband the other day when he called and asked me if he was disturbing my witchiness.   Laughing He sounded like he was almost happy for me to be doing it.  Interesting.  Perhaps my Paganism is becoming enough of a normalcy for him that he misses it??? Hmmm...
