Not been here for a very long time I lost my way so to speak lost truth  and a whole lot more but never lost my faith now I would really like some help/answers truthful if they are good or bad the black wolf dream is one of a friend of mine very close to me this dream involves a black wolf upright (almost werewolf in nature ) walking into the same room as this person then sitting down and just staring at them nothing else no violence or any blood etc but this dream scared them so much its been on their mind now for weeks and what made it worse was they took a picture of their children with friends and behind one child in particular is the clear shadow in red of a wolf that freaked them out completely can somebody please tell me or maybe decipher any possible answer.I use the word them not to give away if this person is male or female I would be really interested to see if anyone could tell me a bit about this person and their life and what they think it is as I believe if you  get that right the dream holds more meaning and truth it also helps me to see if what I think it is is also on the right path Please help as this person will not sleep properly at night for fear of what else will come of this dream and the dream itself has felt so real as to leave a lasting scar on a person who rarely remembers dreams, but cannot lose the shadow of a friends child with the figure of a wolf in the shadow of them. Happyjack, I can tell you that wolves, although their presence can be scary, have an incredible place in the spirit world.  They are an incredible totem and perhaps this is why the dream has come and why the wolf has shown itself behind this particular child in the photo.  Tell your friend that this is a GOOD omen.  The standing wolf is probably a spirit guide.  One thing you can do is to study the rituals and characteristics of the wolf.  You will find out the wolves are some of the most caring and loyal animals in the animal kingdom, which is why loyalty is one of their symbols.  They are very community oriented and have a set system for that community.  Each member of the pack has a place.  I highly suggest reading Animal Speak by Ted Andrews.  It will give you more detailed information on the totem itself and the place of the Wolf.  According to DJ Conway in her book Animal Magick wolves are a symbol of intuition, introspection and dreams.  She says, "Sometimes an astral wolf will lead you to a spiritual teacher."  Many societies revere the wolf for its teaching/learning capabilities and people with the wolf as their totem have the potential to be great spiritual leaders.  
The wolf has been misjudged over the years because it looks so frightening, but wolves do not attack humans unprovoked, and certainly a healthy wolf will not attack a human.  Wolves are an important part of the Earth, and they have so much to teach us if we listen.  Please pass this information on to your friend, and any other good stuff you may learn, so that your friend will understand that this is not an omen of fear, but one of great honor.

As far as what I can gather, there seems to be some type of spiritual link between the person who saw the black wolf walk in and the boy.  Perhaps this is something the two of them share.  Perhaps it is information by the wolf toward the other person that the wolf is trying to communicate about the boy.  If this is the boy's parent, then maybe the wolf is letting the parent know of the child's inherent capabilities or gifts, as it were.  There could be any number of reasons, but you shouldn't take my word for it.  What I see may not be what needs to be seen.  It all depends on the people involved.  Are they willing to try to understand?  Are they Pagan?  Do they believe?  Their stance will depend solely on what they believe.  All I can do is encourage them to try to figure it out from their own viewpoint.  What do THEY think the wolf is trying to convey?  And to whom?

Thank you for all you've said as it does make a lot of sense as this person is very spiritual but has never tried their gift and they do have it so what you have written makes a lot of sense so thank you for your time
