Yeah it was interesting.  No she didn't say anything.  The way I hear it she didn't like strangers.  She was a good person but kept mostly to her self.  Being the same way myself I would probably want to know what the hell an unknown person was doing in my room to.

I made sure to cast a circle around the bed that night.  I am sure Carrie wouldn't have bothered me but I have been told there are other things there that are not as pleasant.  Apparently the house has a lot of bad juju.  Ben told me his sister was powerful and set up some sort of barrier before she died to protect the family but that was years ago and there has been a lot of pain and anger in there since it happened.  I wouldn't be surprised if their are holes in the barrier now.

Ben has told me some rather disturbing stories about the place.  We both agree that if it gets passed down to us we are cleaning it then selling it commercial.  No family really needs to be there.  Of course we can't tell his mom this.  She is attached to that horrible place and is a devout Christian.  While technically I am out of the broom closet I have never felt a need to tell her what I am.

I want to tell you about my new friend.  All week as I've been walking the mutt with me to the mailbox, this Starling has been following me.  Hopping from tree to tree all the way to the mailbox, sometimes flying low enough as to seem like he is "walking" with us.  But he is never there on the way back.  Yesterday, on our route to the mailbox, he followed us again, only this time, he came and gently bumped me in the back of the head, and then again on my shoulder.  Then he flew to a high branch and sat watching me.  Again, he wasn't there on the way back.  At first, I thought it might be that he was protecting a nest or something, but I take the same route back as I go, and he would most likely do the same thing on the way back if he were being protective.  I honestly think this is the same bird that sings for me in the morning when I go to work and wanted to get my attention.  There is something about me that attracts this bird.  Its very interesting.  In the morning, I usually wear my school "uniform" (Islamic scarf), and I don't know if maybe the bird is noticing the difference from my morning "hair" and my afternoon hair.  I know that sounds silly, but, hey, what do I know about birds?

SM a starling of all birds, lol. Yup they can be a pain in the ass for sure, but hey I likes all the winged ones!    I bet Mr. K is missing you and all your ways by now, just as you miss him! Enjoy your time while it lasts, it'll be done afore ya know it and you'll be wondering when he's gonna venture home for a visit again, LOL  

Indigo I don't think I'd wanna keep that place either! Ya know the bad thing about barriers is that they not only seal shit out but seal it in as well.

On April 21, 2009 was my youngest daughters birthday.  Well to get ready for everything later that night I layed down around noon and took a nap with my son.  While I was sleeping I had a dream, of myself, my husband and his cousin all sitting at a round type wooden table and talking.  The conversation didn't seem to last long but the goodbyes were very important.  It seemed like the dream froze on the goodbyes.  I woke up to my cell ringing at 3:30p.m. it was my husband calling me to tell me that at 1pm that day they had found his cousin dead in her room.  I was not surprised nor shocked at the news because I felt like I had already been told in my dream.

Please do not feel sad for her...she went where the fairies play.

Well I guess it's odd to say I'm glad for her crossing.

Well, Houston's flooded this morning.  My own parking lot is so full of water that when I tried to drive out of it to get to work, the water was up to the fenders and the engine felt like it wanted to stall.  Pret-ty freaky.  The pole where the code thingy is to get out of the gate was halfway up with water.  Sooooo, I'm in today.  No school.  Like THATS a problem. Even the dog looked at me like I was a nutcase when I went to take him down the stairs for a pee this morning.  He's just happy I'm home.  But, my head hurts from the stress of driving the car through the parking lot.  I need more coffee... (coffee)

Poor SM!!!!

I'm afraid our rivers are gonna come out of their banks this year. They are at the top now, and have as of yet begun to get the upriver flows from melt off as it has  yet begun to melt I guess. We've had lots of rains, and expecting more in the next few days, so looks like it's gona be another wet year. They say we are in the same set up as 93 when we had the last big floods.

(bounce)  I passed my Chem.... hh) All be it with only a 60% pass....but....I passed!  *does the happy chem dance whilst drinking a glass of red!!*..... Only one more chem exam to go at the end of semester!!!

Hope all are well.... SM...you can send the rain on over to our water storage in Australia, we need it

Believe me, Akina, if I could, I would!!!  Whew!  Congrats on that Chem test!  I'll bet it was a doozy!

Well, the princ. pretended like I was the evil of the world not going in to school yesterday!  Considering that I couldn't have gotten out of my lot till ten o'clock, the traffic was tied up until late last night with all the flooding, and several cars were underwater all over my route because of flash-flooding, I think she should ease up a bit.  My area of town was one of the hardest hit!!  Grrrrr!  I think she's just stressed because of all the testing going on and needs an outlet.  Today was my turn to be whipping girl!    I spent my prep periods "in" today.  I refused to leave the room for any reason and for anybody!!  I didn't need to be needed.  

However, on the sunny side, its sunny today. :roll:

Poor SM!!!! I just hate it! People don't give a shit about people anymore. Jobs mostly. My oldest has the sme issues with WM. they don't give a shit about sick kids, only you having your ass there to be their bitchslave. Reminds me of a hat my hubby has that he can't wear to work anymore, lol. 'I can't be fired, slaves have to be sold!' Ruffled a few feathers, lol.

I learned a sick lesson from the universe today!  I was sitting in the teacher's lounge with another teacher.  We were both working on computers when the breaker switch for the computers switched off--as always.  (It always switches off just as you are ABOUT to hit save!)  I said jokingly, "you never know with this wiring system here, we may come to school tomorrow only to find there is no more school to come to."  (It was funny at the time. )  A couple of hours later, I had the kids out at the playground and there was a fire alarm.  There was some sort of burning smell coming from MY ROOM!! I will never say THAT again!  The power of the spoken word is very powerful--even in jest!

Ya know this makes me think I need to get back into 'practice'.

I'm so outta sorts of late. I'm ont sure what's going on. heads all mudfuddled. Can't focus, can't think. Don't ven let me try to 'connect' cause then i get this......like someones thumping me on the head making me stick my head back in like a turtle!

This is different than the 'coffin' feeling. this is more like someones got their thumb on my head keeping me stuck.

Well I'm gonna run cause I wanna go hop in the tubby for a good scrub a dub afore work. Kinda nice now that the youngest has her license, and wheels so I don't have to be at work a 1/2 hour early! AND I get a few alone minutes since son leaves before me! yeah!
