It was my birthday Yesterday!! I'm 27! YEA! but besides that, let's get to the point. I was visited by someone, but I have no idea who it was!  This  is not the first time I have been visited by some other worldly stranger, but this one, I would like to know better. She had to be African, Her skin was dark. She had four arms, and we met in a hospital. She reached out and touched me on my knee, then laughed. I was kinda scared at first, but then that all faded away, she was very nice, loving, like a healer. She asked to see my baby, and she held her with all four arms. The first time I was visited by someone, It was someone Egyptian. She seemed very hyper, like she wanted to party. She told me to look into her crystal ball. With both of these ladies, neither of them used their mouth to talk to me. I don't understand why I am getting the attention, but I would like to what is trying to contact me, and why.  My research  tells me nothing, so if ayone could give me a clue, or hint...

Well, Hindu goddess are the beings most commonly depicted with multiple arms. Kali is depicted often as "true black" (not African), but this does not sound like a Kali visitation.

Lakshmi, the goddess of good fortune, health, and beauty, is also depicted with four arms, and is depicted with dark or golden skin. I think she would be the most likely canidate for your visitation.

Lakshmi is the HIndu personification of the positive feminine aspect of Divinity. She is characterized as a "mother goddess," and is commonly worshipped as a patron goddess of women. Her masculine counterpart is Lord Vishnu.

Ok, I had to write that one so quickly and then run out the door. But anyway, You know when you meditate and you come across something, or someone who is not human? Well, that is what it was. When I am in contact with some of the human variety, they do speak through their mouths, they just have different eyes and a different vibration to them. They no longer freak me out. Are these beings angels? Are they Spirit guides? The very first time was not the Egyptian, it was actually my brain, or disguised as my brain. It had its own interpreter and a box it lived in. I used to draw pictures and make little soap carvings to help explain to people what I talking about with when I spoke about it. When the interpreter let me hold the brain, I was flooded with happiness, and we danced together. That was so long ago when I first started. A priestess could only say that it was a message, and I never figured out what that was. They never talk to me with their mouths, they never feel human, and I always just kinda "wake up" in the same room as them. The visitor was very tall, and I had sensed her from across the room as if she were the Sun. No one else felt like her, it was like she was a statue, or a shadow radiating beams of energy. none of the other doctors in the room seemed to notice her either, they were all just walking around like they had something else to do. I thought that was odd, because there were plenty of sick people upstairs and all the doctors were down here in this room. Suddenly, she was right in front of me with a human face, so I put a table in between us,  but that did not stop her. She reached over it, grabbed my knee, and then walked right threw the table. The only reason I felt scared at first was because she had so much energy, and I had no idea what to do with it. She was not human! After she touched me, was when I felt a connection. I felt calm, and I felt like she was there to help and/or heal. I had not asked for any help, but I do keep my neighbor in mind. She is a cancer patient, and after watching my father die from it, I give her lavender and camomile and I really feel for her. I make sure to visit with her when I see her outside caring for her plants. She's growing mint for me. Well, the visitor asked me to see the baby, and when I looked beside me, there Shawntice was! She was all wrapped up like she was newborn, so I picked her up and and let her hold the baby, and she held her with all four arms. When she gave the baby back, she let me go. I walked out a door behind me, and woke up.  I just seem to have a lot of extra activity like when I first asked this community for help. I am seeing a lot more random lights and feeling a lot more activity. The difference is that I am not afraid of the experience, I am embracing it. Is this just ungrounded energy, should I smudge my house? I really don't do a lot of high magic or ceremonial stuff, I do not feel prepared for that. I 'm just wondering who or what would want to see me and the baby. I didn't know that was how it worked, I thought you had to ask to be seen and then they decide whether or not they want to see you, yet I don't even remember asking... I just want to "write" a thank you note. That was an incredible experience.

Wow, I never thought to look at Hindu Goddesses, I forget they are very dark skinned as well. I think I may have some sort of Indian past life, I've always felt connected to those people. Although the picture doesn't  look like my visitor, I will have to go that direction. I will do more research and find out.

Well as I researched Hindu Goddesses further, i thought it might have been Kali, but then there was a lot of scary stuff  that I just did not feel with this Goddess, like a skirt of severed arms, or a freshly severed head, and from what I read, if that is not the scary part, then I am  afraid to see what is the scary part! This sounds like Lakshmi. I always imagined Her looking the way she did in the picture, but who says they aren't allowed to update their style?  I felt more of a healing presence rather than wealth and luck. I felt love and calm, and generally, most of the things that I read about. No one else seems to fit the description.  She was not very ornate...except for all that energy coming off her. she wore a plain white coat without sleeves, as if she were one of the doctors in the room. Maybe those doctors were prayers... how interesting.

The Hindu gods are personifications of fundamental and powerful aspects of creation. They can appear in any form, potentially.

The multi-armed depiction of gods and goddesses is symbolic of the many dimensions associated with their power. For example, Lakshmi, as a goddess of good fortune, would be understood to be the goddesss of health, wealth, and beauty, as these are all aspects of wealth.

Thanks for the info! I will have to do something especially nice for her then. Maybe a party or a some kind of fancy dinner. Maybe a glass of wine and a flower. I don't know, what do you think she'd like! I'm so excited to be visited by someone so powerful!

You wondered why you had your visitor since you had not asked for one. Often, they will come to you when they know thy are needed or just to check you out sometimes.

As we have free will, they usually do not help us unless asked yet, they may come to visit just to rmind us they are there and available to help.

Lakshmi likes the lotus flower, by the way.

Blessings on your Journey,
