Don't you wish you could fly,

In the sky up above,

With wings that you love?

Run away with the wind,

Sun caresses the skin,

Like a feather I ride,

Floating with nothing to hide.

I cry out to the heavens,

Clouds hang over head,

Lightening strikes my eye.

Flames all around me,

Power surrounds me,

Blood drips from my wrists,

I can feel my soul slip.

O' angels of the air,

Lift my body to the sky,

Give the the wings,

And teach me to fly!

Take my hands,

Take my feet,

Take a life incomplete,

Take my soul that feels weak,

Take my eyes,

Let them see!

Fill me up and make me whole,

Turn a shell into a body,

And make a void into a soul!
