You it is very interesting when people say listen to your dreams, because I found a dream that I should have listened to. Here it is:
[u][i]Pregnant
10-05-02

I remember being in a big house or at a social gathering of some sort and  not worrying about why I was there, Then I started to go into labor. I did not think I was pregnant, but I was in labor! I remember climbing upstairs trying to remember the date of conception, which was the 10th of October but that was too early, because it was only 13th of October. My mom saw me and she knew I was in labor. I didn't tell Cody (he is that ex abused me for 5 out of 10 years) until after the baby was born. I  remember showing everyone my baby and telling stories abut how I loved him. I remember looking at Cody and him being very upset, and then leaving me.

I found this dream while looking through one of the old dream diaries I found Hiding in my old closet at my mother's house. How interesting it was that my baby was actually born October 17th, and while I was pregnant I did live upstairs. When it was time to go to the hospital, my mom came upstairs to get me and take me to the hospital, but the date for the delivery was set and my mom came to take me before I was in actual labor.  and my baby is a girl instead of a boy. Cody and I split up long before I got pregnant, but when i told him that I had the baby, he cried and then hung up on me. We are still arguing about who's stuff is what and ever since the baby, he has not been very nice at all.

Alot of o9ur dreams are telling us something, and no they aren't always spot on, but do have some good points to make to us.

As far as listening to them, well just like spoken words, sometimes that's easier said, than done.

It is fu though to dig them out sometimes, dust them off, and tkae another look at them later, and see how close they were at the time, when we didn't take heed in them.

I know where you're coming from.  I have dreams like that, and since the past few years, I hear people saying  things inside my head that I hear (word for word) hours later.  Kind of prepares me for conversations, doesn't it??
This may sound weird, but I get the feeling that my brain is sending out signals (I can't help but think of the word mis-firing) but I wonder if this happens to everybody??  Only people who rationalize things can't receive back??  I've been reading all the books I can find,  not really learning anything from them.
But it is a very interesting ability,  my family has to learn to live with it.  I've told them never to say anything about it outside the house.  I'd wind up in a straight jacket.....

Ok,  the timing on this is, of course, right on, but I feel I have to tell you.
I keep 2 dream diaries..one on the dreams I have nightly, and the emotional reasons why I have them, or if there is anything psychic to them.
The other dream diary, is one of dreams that I have, that I know are psychic but I know they may take a few years to come about because they are major changes in my life.  This one dream was one of the last in my older dreams, where my mother in-law met me at the door of a church for a large party.  Last week, when she was on her death bed, I thought of the dream, and thought it was really weird that it couldn't come true now.  I mean, everything else did.
But, she passed away a couple of days ago, and I now realize why she was the one who met me at the door.  The whole "church party" was about her.  Silly me, but all the things she told me in the dream, I now know why.  We weren't real close, I think I took her "favorite" son, and that's probably why she felt she had to talk to me and I could re-read my diary yesterday and now have a heart-to heart talk with her son.  He'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
Just one of the things I thought I could share with you all.  Thanks

Can you tell who's on the other end of the phone before it rings? I don't know if that's a coincidence or not, most of my family can do that. I have very vivid dreams too, once in a while I get deja vu. I would say those dreams are normal, but some people are a little more "checked in" to their inner world than others. I've heard that pregnancy also messes with your dreams, as does fatty and spicy food.

oh, I had such a groovy dream the other night.  It wasn't much of a dream really, I was coming out of sleep but wasn't really awake yet and I looked over and saw a very good looking man sitting on the edge of my bed with his back to me.  He wasn't wearing a shirt, just pants and a belt, and he had the nicest shoulders and back and arms, nice hair too.  He was holding my alarm clock and fiddling with it like he was setting it.  I remember thinking, "wow!" and struggled to focus my eyes, that's when he evaporated like a fog.  Darn!......sigh......wishful thinking???   Laughing

Acasia, do you have anything second hand on your bed?   Shocked

No SM, I don't.  Well, a blanket was a hand-me-down from my parents' house, but nothing that was from an unknown owner.  Still, I'll hold on to hope, maybe it will come true someday

Marigold, I know what you mean about it sometimes taking years for a dream to make sense.  Very frustrating, isn't it?  And I don't share with anyone outside the castle because most people I know already think I'm alittle "different" and it doesn't help the whole trying-to-fit-in thing if I share.  When I was a teenager I had a very vivid dream about being in a house.  It wasn't a house I knew at the time, but I remembered the whole layout of the place, furniture, pictures, everything.  A few weeks later I went to a party in the exact same house and freaked my friends out because I unthinkingly made my way around without having to ask where the kitchen or bathroom was.

Acasia, is it possible that the man was a previous occupant of the house?  I think sometimes when we're half asleep, half awake, we more receptive to seeing and hearing different things.  When you have those dreams, when you wake up, do you feel as if you didn't get any sleep, or sort of like a hangover?  I'm full of questions today.  I'm also wondering why that guy was setting your alarm clock.  Was it for you, or was it something he previously did as a daily routine??

Marigold,  I agree that when I'm half asleep, half awake I am much more receptive.  And after that experience I did feel very tired and kind of hungover.  (I really wanted to go back to sleep and dream some more!)  The ex and I built this house, it's almost brand new, and before we built the house the land was a cow pasture.  And since I don't have anything second-hand on my bed, or even in my bedroom I don't think it was a residual phenomenon or a vision from an entity that was attached to something physical in my room.  Why he was messing with my alarm clock is a mystery to me.  Maybe someday, years from now, I'll have a deja-vu experience and remember that I dreamed it.  LOL, I hope so!

I've had similar things happen in that half-sleep state, and I firmly believe that when we sleep we really are "tapping in" to another dimension.  (Otherwise, why WOULD we have premonitions in our dreams?)  I've seen "things" and "people" standing around me in the bed that have literally faded as my consciousness returned. (Like something in a movie.)  At the time, I wasn't following this path and would have put it down as a subconscious manifestation of my psychological state.  Now I know that there are other "beings" out there, many of which are very aware of us.
