I have seen this one and that one, and am thinking I might just need to sit down and have a HP-a-thon to catch up them and get with the pogram!!! I've loved the one's I've seen.

Some days I feel like a teen, and some days I feel like an old fartess!!!  Laughing

Excellent idea, Novia!  A HP-a-thon!  Good day for movies too, very chilly, very overcast, windy.....is it really July?

Happy Fourth everyone!  May your picnics be sunny and your fireworks spectacular!!      (poof)

Happy 4th of July everybody!   (woohoo)

Too much sun and too much corona and lime yesterday leaves for a very somber day today.

I might fire up the grill later for some chicken and shrimp skewers and I might not.  It's just going to be a relaxing staying indoors and cool day for me I think.   Smile

Yep, I'm going to be spending the day teaching Mr. K to run the dishwasher and washer and dryer so that he can function while I'm gone.  Otherwise, he will have laundry and dishes coming out of his ears that I will refuse to wash when I get home.  Smile I just wish that I could get him to learn to clean up after himself in the bathroom.  Evil or Very Mad

Evil or Very Mad SM...if you manage to master the 'husband whispering' please do let me know.  Mine is challeneged in the car, the bathroom, the kitchen, the laundry....oh damn ...it is jusy easier to say he is a messy pain in the butt...and no matter what I do, I can't seem to get him to clean up after himself.  I swear I have 4 kids and not 3!  :|

Evil or Very Mad Ok where did my post go to!!!!!!!!!!!?>>>>??????????????  Mad

Ok I said!!! (With additions, of course! LOL Why is it once you post and it poffs, you never remember what you said the first time?!)

I thought that my son was the problem with the messes in the bathroom, and that after he moved out, well I would once again be graced with a clean bathroom, nooooooooooooooooooooo, didn't happen! Mad

Some wise woman made a plaque to aide us in our delima, not that it helped I'm sure. 'My aim is to keep this bathroom clean, your aim would help!" Laughing

Ok, so mine does know how to clean, and does, on occasion. He does the laundry, all the time. He does dishes, until his callousy hands get pruny, which is about a load and a half, he mops, he sweeps, his side of the bedroom is far far far far cleaner than mine, so all in all, I can't complain, much.

Just some words of wisdom.....my Guides are at it again...yes, folks I am hearing voices.

"Are you setting it up so that people are pulling on you, so that your time is full, but is not filled with the things that you want? You have the power to change that drama. It comes from your compassion for who you are, and from your sense of inner freedom. Affirm that you deserve to spend your time doing what you love."

If you cant explain it simply, you dont understand it well enough.-- Albert Einstein

Ok, LE, so who's playing in who's head NoW!  Shocked

I know I am in the midst of setting my path straight again, yes, yet again, and yes, I know that sometime, I will once again, set my self back on the path my Self needs me to follow. Maybe if I line the damn thing with rocks, once I trip and fall on my face, I'll at least be forwarned I am once again, yet again, wandering from my path!  Mad  Laughing

I have learned one thing over a few lifetimes, sometimes ya just gotta cut the ties that bind, and let everyone else take care of everyone else, adn take care of our Self for a bit. In the end, everyone wins!

Wow!  LE, that's it!  I'm taking up too much time worrying about things that, like Novia, I just need to permanently cut ties to.

I have been getting some interesting communications lately, too.  Some very profound things have been spoken to me in my meditations, dreams and states of half-sleep.  I wonder if it has to do with all the "stuff" I'm dealing with right now.  My guides are working overtime.

Wow that hit home LE! I could use a little more time doing things I want, instead of always doing the things that need to be done for others. I guess I need to take that advice and meditate on it to find out exactly what it is that I really want for myself to make me happy!

Novia we all feel like an old Fartress sometimes!  Laughing I'm glad to see that you are getting your space back, but what are you going to make it into?

SM hope the hubby learns to clean, so you don't have to look at it when you get back. It sucks when it happens. I went away 2 years ago with the kids for 3 weeks, and came back to a mess. However I took all his trash and put it on his computer chair and desk till he cleaned it up and took care of it! Of course he was complaining about it the whole time. I told him that he should have kept the house the way I left it! However I do have him trained to clean up in the bathroom, mainly cause if he don't clean it, it don't get done! I helps that I hate cleaning bathrooms. He also hangs up all the laundry that goes into closets. Now if I could just get him to finish projects that he starts I would be doing pretty good. Hubby's side of the room looks like a train wreck!

Well today is my birthday and I wonder if he or anybody else will  remember. Only two people on my side of the family ever remember it. It has been that way since I was little, and one of them passed away last year, so I'm curious to see who will actually remember this year. The fourth went well. We put a peice of old carpet on the ground for people to sit on and watch the fireworks that my neighbor and us were shooting. Derek brought out his pillow and laid down to see the ones in the sky. It was cute to hear him ooo and ahhh at them, and when they were  all down my neighbor and hubby got a that was cool. We call it the Bubby seal of approval. This is the first year he has actually gotten into watching them. I thought it was neat! I love the fact that he is actually awake and alert lately, even if he is still having some seizures. But some are better than 2 to 4 a day. Deanna got into St. Louis tonight, she is really excited to spend time with her cousins on her Bday on the 15th. It was the one thing she wanted for her Bday, so I gave it to her! I hope she enjoys herself. Well all I'm off to bed, I want to make the most out of tomorrow, the one day that is all about me!

Bright Blessings and many happy thoughts!  Very Happy

I'm glad Derek got to really enjoy his first conscious 4th Icy, that is awesome. Even more awesome is the fact your litle gal is also having the time of her life as well. Whcih means your time isn't going so bad either.

Happy Birthday, Icymoon!!   (celebrate)  I'm not as patient as you.  If I suspect Mr. K will forget my b-day, I remind him for days and give him that look like, "your life will be hell if you don't take me out to dinner."  Laughing I know that's selfish, but I'm a drama queen.
Sounds like you had a wonderful time, and it sounds like Derek did, too.  Those moments are always memorable for a kid!  I'm glad that he's feeling even a little better.  Every little bit helps.  Even baby steps will get you to your destination.

Novia, may your path be fruitful, and may your wanderings not have been in vain.  Smile

4 more days till I get to see my kids!  I will probably be absent for the most part here for 3 weeks, but I might pop into the library now and again just to check up on y'all and make sure y'all are behavin'.  Twisted Evil
