Blessings and Merry Meet to all...
This is where you say hello to everyone and talk about oneself a bit. Saying Hello is easy because I am sure there are many good people here, and the one who invited me here is a wonderful person and writer from my Facebook. I hope to learn from her and with her on that topic. The hardest thing for me to do is part with all I know. A great deal of it is "Classified" and few live that can share a cup and conversation with me, the rest is Lore on the Occult and violence on many levels and most is reserved for Neophyte Warlocks in training under me, and some for the Circle of Warriors I have elsewhere. I am Old School in so many ways and kick myself for not placing more value on all I have learned. My Inner Circle chides me bout that all the time and my books will have a price, even though it will most likely just cover publishing fees.
I would like to see real lore out there for the serious follower and for free. I have never asked for coin in over 40 years, and have no intent on starting. Each of us have a gift, whether we want to admit it, share it, and hone others in it. As for Lore...I know College and University have prices for knowledge, just walk into the Registrar's Office and tell them you want to take some classes, even for personal interest. As a Lore-Addict, yes I admit it, I have paid for knowledge and have looked hungrily at "rare" tomes being sold for thousands of Euros going back to the 14th century, so there is a personal conflict there. What are the options? The thought of a Seminary of some kind is a good way to keep Lore alive, but who decides the curriculum, will it be mainstream, a custom slant by the teacher with a tossed salad from many religious beliefs...a little of this and that (so wrong), or regurgitated bilge from another author that has a name that is known to many. In half a century, I have seen a lot of bullshit being passed off as Lore and I want to take the heads of those "pagan-bullies" who push it. Just because a lie is repeated a thousand times does not make it truth whether your last name starts with G or A and most of your "so-called" lore is taken from my Lodge, (yes, I am a Mason, for over 40 years) it is still falsehoods, and created for all the wrong reasons, or fiction like the Necronomicon and Cthullu. Like many virtual schools have, there is a need for reality checks, just like any school, along with a tutor as a sounding board, recognized grading system, and suddenly you are looking at a "mainstream" variant of pagan thought...that sounds JW or Mormon in style when you think about it. I would hate to see that in the Old Ways, but it is already out there in a big way and many have lost their way as they follow it and become 4th Degree Egyptian Fairy Celtic Druids in the Oh Puke Temple of Pathetic Serenity. Is it a fiction writers forum or is there any real reason to fill up their pockets with your gold because they are the descendant of Merwyn and Cleopatra and have a Brother/Sister thing going on so they follow Isis as well to legitimize it...You can see why I walked away.... As an old soldier, I have an issue with lines between spirituality and state as well and the Law of 3 means nothing when you are trying to stay alive and after half a century as a Warlock, I resent anyone who tells me "their" path is right and mine is wrong.

) I agree with LE. After reading your post, I think that what we have here will be "old hat" for you. It sounds like you truly have a world of knowledge that you can share with us. This will be fun!
