I don't know what you feed the kitties but, I have found that if you can get a few condiment cups from a resturant or grocery deli, you can mix the wormer into a small amount of food for each one and feed them separate. They think they are getting a treat and it saves bleeding fingers, hands and wrists. I have 12 lil kitties to go to new homes and this is how I do the wormer thing. Much easier than fighting to get the right amount down the lil ones throat. Oh and rule of thumb if you have some that look alike get a marker (highlighter) and put a dot on their collars or toenail so you know which ones have been treated. This does not harm them and keeps your records safe without over treating them. Hope this helps you for next round. Blessings to you.

I know about mixing their food with the medicine but that only works if you give them moist food.  We feed dry only.  With four little boogers we'd go broke if we bought canned food for them.

When I was young we had a very spoiled Persian who got moist food and milk every day and we would mix her medicine in with one or the other.  We also use to give the dog pills by wrapping the pill in cheese.  But thanks for the suggestion.

You are very welcomed , I was hoping to help ya, I have 12 kittens ready for homes and 6 adults, 3 adult cats were rescues from very horrid conditions, and 2 were pregnant hince the 12 kittens, we also took in one other that we thought was pregnant but wasn't sure and she had 6 babies last week, so we were right about her, I feed mine dry food also, but I do give them the baked cookie treats I make up for them and they go nutso for them. when it comes to the worming time I get a can of the mom's milk from the petsmart, and mix it in there.and give to the little ones, now the older ones they are so use to it they stand in line almost waiting on it. They know they are getting a nice treat after. Which I do give them a cookie. I will find the recipe for it and post. Have a Magical night !! and Good luck!

Sooo, how was everyone's night last night?

Mine was a mix of wonderful (due to meds, lol) and life going ballistic!

Oldests water started leaking, so off to the hospital she goes. I go get youngest and grandbeebee. She gets home, I get youngest back here, and grandbeebee home,  not even home yet, and her freakin' watr breaks. she just left hospital so she knew she was only dialted to 1, and holding, no major contractions, so we all decide all will be fine until morning. I take nightey time meds, a double dose, due to some dumb ass bug that's been kickin' my ass for over a week, to get a good nights sllep, and top that off with a stiff drink, so i'm toast. She calls later, I vaguely remember, to tell me contractions have picked up and she is having youngest come over to get grandbeebee, and she' going to hospital. No way I'm going anyplace!!! (except back to bed!) This is about 10:30P. A few minutes later I'm bolted back out of bed with a huge ass crash, tires squeeling and a car racing off!!! I jump up, hubby is partially awake due to the previous phone call, and we run outside, in the cold, in jammies, only to figure out someone stopped, got out, and smashed the windshield of the truck with a hunka concrete!.

So, anyone wanna top this off!?

BTW have a new grandson. 6pounds somehting, months early, but doing fine. So's Momma, she had a c-section.

She probably doesn't have enemies, that sounds like the kinda shit the teenage hooligans in this trailer park pull.  Congratulations on the grand baby.  I am glad to hear he is alright.

Hopefully your insurance will cover replacing the windshield, any ideas on who done it?

Oh Indigo, I hope it works out for you and Ben with the house.  It's so depressing when hopes are raised then dashed!  I'll keep a good thought for you two.  The cemetary event sounded cool, I wonder if the residents enjoy having guests.  lol   Years ago we used to give dogs Pepto Bismol if their tummies were upset, even with an oral syringe there would be PINK everywhere afterwards!

Finally a day off!  Going to take the camera outside and take some pictures of the fall foliage.  It's absolutely glorious right now.  Then I'll save the pics in the 'puter to relish through the long winter months when everything is a monochrome white and grey.  Still waiting for a frost here so I can harvest my rosehips for jelly and my dandelion roots for vinegar.  Don't mind waiting though, it's so cold for so long once it gets here.  I wonder if I'll actuallly miss my skunks this winter!?  I'm getting very used to them visiting every evening.  I figure if I can't beat 'em I may as well enjoy their company.  I looked up skunk in several different Native American websites and their totem meaning actually kind of fits for my situation right now.  hee, hee, hee

Yeah it was cool.  My friend that I went with is rather gifted and she said one of the things about going during an event like that is there was enough people to keep the occupants busy so she didn't get overwhelmed.

I was rather surprised to learn that there ARE ghosts in a cemetery. I figured they would tend to linger in places or around people that they had loved in life.  Apparently many wind up in the grave yard if there homes are torn down or their loved ones move away and they loose track of them.  It seems like it would be a rather sad existence to dwell in a cemetery.  I hope most learn to move on in time.
