I haven't watched any television other than the occasional movie in the past couple of months.  But My boyfriend recently showed me a few episodes of Invader Zim that he had on his P.C.  it is just goofy and twisted. A good laugh if you have a warped sense of humor.  I use to watch Futurama and Family Guy, not the most refined shows but good for a cheap laugh.  I generally steer clear of serious programing unless it's on Animal Planet.  I have seen a few episodes of Animal Cops.  That show always makes me tear up.

I have recently found a new show that I watch on you tube.  it also comes on showtime very late at night if you don't have high speed internet.  It's call Penn & Teller's Bullshit.  They are basically two atheist stage magicians and comedians who exlpore things like the death penalty, PETA (who, for the record, are NOT what they claim to be.)  and the Bible and expose it all as bullshit.

I don't agree with all of their views.  But the show is very entertaining and makes you think.  I have included links to one of the funnier episodes.  Due to being on youtube each episode is in 3 parts.

I don't watch a lot of my tv...now my dad's is a completely different story. lol

Good Eats (Alton just rocks)

Planet Earth (Dad will sit and watch that whenever it comes on)

History Channel

Clean House

How Clean Is Your House? (BBC)

You Are What You Eat (also BBC)

Avatar The Last Airbender (Really good anime for anyone that's interested)

Spice up My Kitchen (HGTV)

Evening News

Deadliest Catch

HBO & Encore (depends on what movies are on)

Iron Chef America (Moto-san is my idol)

Planet Green

okay, I think I'm done. I swear I don't watch a lot of tv.  Maybe 2-3 hours in a days time if that. The rest of the time I'm on here.

The only show that I really want to watch is 'Being Erica'.  It's a canadian show about a woman who gets the opportunity to go back in time and fix her 'mistakes' in life while in this therapy session with some guy that allows her to time travel.  I'm sorry I missed most of the first season.
Other than that, in the winter time, when I'm supposed to have more time on my hands, I would rather web search.  So much more interesting things.

Between my husband and son, about the only thing that I watch is BBC, MTV, and a whole bunch of tween shows ...... I do DVR "Sons of Anarchy", which I love, I just haven't had time to watch it lately.

I watch very little television.  I read or peruse the 'net all night on my nights off.  I do watch Mythbusters--those guys are my heroes--and a few things on the History Channel.  The one show I do watch regularly, without fail, is Family Guy.  I want to be just like Stewie when I grow up.

My family is guilty of leaving the TV on in the background all day long during the winter months.  My daughter sleeps in the frontroom specifically for the noise of the TV ... she says her bedroom is too quiet.  LOL.  During the warmer months of spring, summer and fall I am outside in the gardens all day long.  When I do 'watch' TV the particular shows I sit down for are Grey's Anatomy, Ghost Whisperer, Medium, The History Channel and National Geographic Channel.
