Merry Meet

I am in need of some help and information. I have spirits in my home and I do not mind most of them. I have a camera monitor in my grand sons room to monitor him. Everynight I will see and I am not the only one that does. There is a black shadow that is around him, when it shows up he gets very active in his sleep. then there is a white shadow that appears and the dark one leaves. I can see the white shadow cover him as to protect. he then gets quiet.

A little history, I gained custody of my grand son and his brother we took him to keep the two together as they were all they had until us. We just could not seperate them. This shadow came with My grandson. I know this because we were use to the spirits that are here. They are family members that have passed on. The atmosphere was calm relaxed, unstressed. since his arrival and his shadow the atmosphere has changed to stressful, people yelling, people depressed, Uncomfortable where I do not even want to be here anymore.

I want to get rid of this black shadow but not the frindlies. Does anyone know of a spell, herbs anything to get rid of it and not the others. I have demand it leave but to no avail. I am new to wicca and not really educated togetting rid of bad spirits. I believe the white shadow is my grandmother as she always protected children. And in a dream my father told me it was her. Yes we communicat with those friendlies. they are family. My father also said I know what to do useany religion that I feel comfortable with and do it. This is weird coming from him as he was devote christian. I never told him I was into wicca. But on the otherside he knows and is ok with it.

I am not the only one in the house that is wiccian. My son and his wife are as well. We have been trying to use crystals in places but they do not seem to work. They do however move on their own to other parts of the room.

If anyonecan help me I would be greatful. I realize this is long winded but so am I. Sorry. PLEASE HELP me help the kids.

Firelady, all I can say is WOW. You are so blessed that your ancestors communicate with you. I recently lost both of my parents (within 24 days of eath other) and although I do speak to them, they don't visit yet. Maybe its been too soon. Its interesting that you say your dad knows you are wiccan on the other side but didn't in life because my folks didn't know about my being Wiccan/Pagan either (they were Catholic). I had a feeling they'd find out when they crossed over, now I know for sure that they do. With regard to your grandson, what HIS history is? Specifically, do you have custody of him or are his parents with you as well? I'm not trying to be nosey, just trying to ascertain if he came from an abusive household. If so, are both parents alive and did either of them come from abusive households? I'd have to refer you to Novia on this though. She's far more experienced in this subject dear. Best of luck though. its nice to know that Grandmom is watching over them though

Hey Firelady, first off Welcome to the castle.

Sounds like you already have a very good set of commnuication skills with the spitirt world, at least in regards to those whom you are connected to, which leads me to believe this is NOT someone connected in any way to anyone in your family. NOT a good thing.    

you have done steps one and two (asking/telling to leave, and 'other' means i.e crystals.)

The fact that he makes the wee one aggitated is cause enough to be concerned, little one's are quite good at knowing good from bad, even as infants. That and causing her to come to his aide is another major clue as well, and most likely it is also a good clue as to the fact it is not someone she knows, or cares for.

I don't have the time at the moment to dig further into this, but will return in a while to get back with you, just rest assured she will protect him.

I don't think this is a 'spirit' per se'. I believe your little one has problems with a Shadow Be-ing.

right now alot of new incarnate Light workers are entering this plane, because there is alot of work that needs to be done on it to 'fix it' or more rather 'prepare' it for things to come. Because of this, alot of the Shadows aare trying to catch them at the entry level, in the infancy stages of their new lives, and corrupt them. While the Be-ing is of Light, the body/mind is still human, and can be readily manipulated. Your GrandMother, a Light Be-ing, is his guardian, and rest assured she WILL do just that, as she has always. I feel this is why he is now in your tutilage/care.

You spoke of the atmosphere within your house changing dramatically to the point of being ready to not be there anymore, this also is a clue to the type of Be-ing that has enetered, as THey will bring about negative changes in places where they are hanging about.

This would also be a reason why he did not leave when asked, as he is not Spirit, and doesn't follow the same 'rules', as he follows none other than the present order of business, disperse the Light. Also, crystals and such, in the manners used for spirits also will have no effect on him. He is like you and I, a Be-ing, but of another level of existance/awareness/plane.

I understand if a few of your brain circuits are beginning to sizzle a bit, and for that I apologize, but in the past I have learned that sometimes ya gotta fry a couple of those now and again, leads to redelevopement of new, improved ones however!!! (Shit, I should have the brain from hell then! ) This is getting into an area I'm afraid might be above what you are able to handle in dealing with him, I'm not sure. I'l have to converse further with ya on that one.

You can however take care of your inner sanctum. CLEANSE, CLEANSE, CLEANSE!!!! Do what you know to take care of that issue. Kinda like spraying Lysol when the town Lepric comes a callin' and ya just can't keep him away, but ya can do what needs be done to stay healthy!    

After you extinguish the afore mentioned sizzles, feel free to holler!

When my oldest was a pup, I had spirits in my home and I had such a feeling of dread in his bedroom.  I cast a circle around his crib/bed and anointed and posted the rune of protection on the beam above his bed.  It seems to have worked with him.    Perhaps do things in the room that will bring in more light spirits as well.  Invite them in and focus on the positive beings.  Perhaps by bringing in more light, the dark one will be squeezed out?

Novia has it right, start simple, cleanse, then progress as needed. Also more information will be needed.If not here than by pm or email. How old are the grandchildren?Their input or thoughts may be of some assistance to help you figure out what you are dealing with. I won't be a lot of help since I have only knowingly dealt with one once and that was at at young age and it scared the crap out of me. But continue to let it know it is not welcome. Also encourage your protectors to help with this as much as you can. It is great you have them around. More and wiser heads than mine will chime in.

Ya know my dear, my 'gut' tells me to just leave the Shadow to the Grandmama, she can handle him on her own, you just deal with the issues on your plane.

DracoMoonstone asked about my grandsons history. First his name is Anthony, His brother is Josh. They were taken from mom due to physical abuse and mom and grandma were cooking a meth drug lab. The children were around this and their lung damage tells this. They were put in foster care and that home was less then perfect as abuse there occured as well. I gained custody June 2007 and gained permanate custody January 2009. It has been a very long road.  He tells me that he sees this being it is black. Not allowed to see any ghost stories on tv. What he describes sounds alot like the pictures you would see of the reaper. His behavior can be bad, when asked he replies it is what the voice in his ear tells him to do. This is bad due to the things he does can injure or worse. The parents do not live with me. dad is the only one allowed to visit. This appeared when the children moved in.

I am sorry for your loss, however it took grams until the grand babies came to show herself. We felt her all along but could not communicate. My father was clairvoiant in life so He has always been able to talk. Mostly in dreams where we listen better. Give it time They will show when you are ready and open. Grief can be a big blocker.

Thank you for the welcome. There are 4 children in my home. The two taht we are discussing and what you said soes alarm as there are two infants as well. All ages are Anthony is 5, Josh is 4, Aeiron is 3, and Gary is 2. Anthony is the one were seeing the shadow around.

The smaller ones can see. They will be in their playpens and will play and laugh watching something around the. We will ask who are you playing with. They will point and say papa, papap, mama. All of these persons passed before they were born. I also have a 9 year old granddaughter that can see and talk to the passed but they scare her at times. I am trying to work with her on that. The 3 year old has downs syndrume and it has been told to us by her sister the 9 year old that she will see and do more than we can imagine psycically speaking. We do encourage seeing.

My father has said in dreams that the shadow does not like grams protecting and will run when she is around. So you may be right and letting her handle it. I wish I could remember how to call on the protector I had when I was younger. He was a leprachaun. He would chase the bad things away.

My mother and stepfather were wiccan, He was a white worlock. He tought me some things, but I can not recall them as I believe He blocked me when He got out of it and become a christian. That it my problem. I knew these things once but I can not recall how anymore. If I knew how to unblock myself it may help.

My brain has already sizzled years ago hun. But I do get your meaning. I think it is drawn to all the energy of the wee ones and all the adults that have the vision to see them.

If I remember ther is a mixture of salt and sage that rids things but as I said I do not want to rid the good ones. If this being is on our plane it may not work anyway. I will look in my books to find a clensing spell or majic. Unless you have another way. I am cautous using some things as I do not want to draw evil.

Firelady, I kinda figured Novia would have a better answer for you than I could. When you first described the problem with this dark being, I kinda got a flashback to the movie Poltergeist 2 where this evil spirit covetted and was after little "Carol Ann" and the light that surrounded her (sorry- my kids hate it when I equate real life situations to similar events that happen in the movies ) I'd definitely follow Novia's advise and let Grandmom handle this being. I'm truely a novice when it comes to all things Wiccan and any opinion I have regarding many of the topics are just me following my gut instinct. Its because I'm so new at this that I prefer to leave the spirit world be (even though I miss Mom & Dad something awful). I have a tremendous amount of respect for the spirit world and would rather leave them at peace rather than disturb them. My only experience with the spirit realm (at least I think it may have been- might have just been a bad dream) was when I was young- I was sleeping,. I remember dreaming something (don't remember what) and then felt a presence that was trying to "possess me" for lack of any better term. I resisted, prayed for help, and the my would be possesser stopped and I felt safe again. I woke up immediately after that and was scared to go back to sleep. The same thing happened one other time when I was in my early teens, and again the attack was thwarted- this time I fought it off alone (I think) but woke up immediately afterward again, not wanting to go back to sleep. I pray the dark entity that keeps visiting little Anthony eventually gives up and stops tormenting him.
