SM, we all feel that way about our teens.  Love 'em totally, but it's better in small doses!  Thanks for the congrats - it feels good to be doing ok at something!  I was just kidding about "finding a man".  Like that would even be possible in this dreary little corner of the world, lol.  Just toying with different options.  I'm just frustrated having the house on the market for a whole year, people touring through no matter what my schedule or convenience level might be.  And I know I've got to move forward but it's difficult being stuck in this house.  It might be a whole new breath of fresh air if I could just start over someplace new and really my own. (There's the conflict again, I want to move, but I don't want to move.......   Mad)     Ah well, I guess the Fates are trying to teach me patience.

Marigold, how's the bug battle going in your garden?

'natural pestide', soak cigarette butts in water, strain thru striner first, then thru coffee filter for the tinier particulates, place in spray bottle. Spray. Nicotine is a natural pesticide. I did this when I had smokers in the house. Kept the critters off my plants. A good rinse with 'soapy water' and all's well, except for the buggins.  Very Happy

Yes, I'm still alive and kickin'. I'll pop back in when I have more time, promise. I'm always lurking in a dark corner, watching over however.  Twisted Evil

Just popping in for a minute on my only day off this week.  Now up to the garden, get laundry done, plan supper.... Mad
Only until the end of the month.
I'm thinking of ordering pyrethrum (white ones are better), and nicotania tobacom seeds for next year, and reap some natural insecticide.  I've used diotamacus earth on the cucumber beetle but that doesn't seem to work, probably because the beetle doesn't have a soft body.  One of my experiments this year did work so far.  Straw around the potato plants so far have significantly reduced the potato beetle population.  Meanwhile, time for a replant of cucumbers.
Acasia, you know deep down inside why your house hasn't sold.  Are the Fates trying to teach you patience or are they waiting for you to make up your mind?

HELLO!!!!    Very Happy    I'm popping in to say HELLO!!!!    Very Happy   Just catching up on everything and announcing that my beautiful granddaughter arrived June 11 weighing 9 lbs. 2 oz. and 21 and 5/8 inches long.  She was born via emergency c-section because...uh hem.... she was a big one and momma wasn't big enough.  Plus she wouldn't come down and was face up.  When the doctor tried to turn her, she went into fetal distress.  She didn't want to breathe when she arrived and was full of fluid.  Once they got her pumped out and breathing she spent 5 days in NICU.  Both mommy and baby are home and doing great!!  I stayed with them until Saturday and I miss them so much.  But, hey, they're only 2 hours away.  I may have to invest in some new tires because I have a feeling I'll be wearing the tread out on these pretty quick.   Wink

Acasia, my first suggeston in order to sell you house..........WANT to sell it  Very Happy As long as you are teeter tottering, the Universe is gonna plant it's big butt on one side and leave you, feet dangling, in mid-air. Laughing  (Love the Kuan Yin avatar BTW Very Happy )

Amethyst Dear One, you best buy stock in the tire company and be your own best paysource!  Laughing

Seems summer is a time when we are all busy as the bees outside. I haven't been spending alot of time out there since it rains nearly everyother day, the humidity is like the tropic, and the heat is miserable. (heat index today of 105 expected Sad )

Yestrday seemed to be an intense kinda day, and then I remembered it was one that alot of groups from a few dif dimensions had a working/healing going for the Gulf. It was intense tapping into it, along with all the energies from the Solstice, and being so near my BD.

I have been doing alot of thinking and have realized that I so miss my old connection to the All. I miss the Divine. need to get mine arse back in the loop current of the All.

It is amazing how easily we slip into dead water spots, and how little effort it takes to slip back into the main current, as long as we don't get stuck in a whirlpool eddy. I believe that is where I have been stuck. just swimming like hell trying not to get sucked down into the vortex. Maybe I just need to swim like hell into the center of it, and see where it pops me back up at.  Shocked  Worst it can do is drown my ass.  Laughing  Either way, I'm free of the constant upstream swim.

so, I think, with today being the first full day of the summer season, and my Birthday, it is time for some direction changes. So, see ya'll on the flip side of this bad mamma jamma vortex! This girls gonna swim for the center!  Twisted Evil

Well this has been interesting.

Funny how we post things, and move back into life, and forget, and then when life finally gets off fast forward, and we take a sec to look back, just why things have gone on the way they have over the past few.  Shocked

this has been the fastest/longest wildest, most grounding, four days! I coulda swore that I posted that ages ago, not less than one week!!!

I'll go into more detail in a sperate post.  Twisted Evil

Now I need to go look up dragonfly, as it has landed in my world again this past couple days. Well, let me just put it in one simple way...... Shocked  Laughing Change, transormation. Light, healing. yeah, sums it up quite well!!!

AAAAaaargh!!!   Shocked  I'm back!!  I don't know about you guys, but I couldn't get in for two weeks (or thereabouts!)  I was beginning to think I was going nuts...not that that is anything new!!

I have decided to go back to school online if'n financial aid will go for it.  I want to study anthropology, with a focus on comparative tribal studies and history, eventually getting into secondary education in the humanities or in history, (or whatever school is hiring for what around here...lol!)  I think that with all the credits I will transfer with my Gen. Requirements and some of the electives I took (which didn't make sense to my music major at the time--20 years ago) will probably count toward my major.  I figure I could probably get finished in under three years if I play my cards right.   Smile  So, join me in my naked dance to get this thing working for me.  I have to have all the apps and such in by the end of the month.  I am soooo ready for this!

I have missed a lot, so it will take me a while to catch up with y'all!  Loves and hugs all around! (hug)

Popping in to say hi!
Now that my work hours are cut back, time to catch up on my own gardens.  So loving this heat and humidity, though my man is wilting...
Novia, I know exactly how you feel in reading posts that are only a few days old and thinking that they should be years old.  I felt the same way when my father was ill.
SM,  I would have tried the naked dance, but  Embarassed my neighbor sits out at night on his deck.... Surprised
Your studies look very interesting.

(woohoo)      SM, this is great news!!  I'm so happy for you!!      (boogie)

Marigold, it has been very hot and humid here, too, but the past couple of days it's just been in the upper 80's.  For whatever reason, I've been cold.  Indoors of course, but still chilled.  Can't seem to get the air regulated to give me comfort so I stay curled up with a blanket.

Novia, dragonfly?  Really?  Hmmm   Someone else I know has had a "dragonfly" revelation of sorts lately.  I really like the song by Shaman's Harvest - "Fly Dragonfly".

Hope everybody stays (kewl).

Popping out now.......(runaway)

Marigold, enjoy your time in your garden.  Its always such a blessed time to get in touch with Mother and to clear your head.  Nothing like digging your hands into soil to get grounded!!  I miss gardening.

I don't envy you that humidity, Amy!!  (that's something I DON'T miss!!)  Its been warm here, but I haven't acclimated yet, so, I'm liking it.  Locals are sweltering at 88* and I'm comfy!!

I decided on Grand Canyon U. (strange, though, as it is a Christian based Uni.  Should make for some interesting convos in the class forum of the "religion" class I have to take... Twisted Evil  Twisted Evil  Twisted Evil ).  I'm going for a BA in History.  I enrolled today and am waiting back on the fin. aid!  I'm so excited I can hardly sit still!  I have waited a long time to get "back on track", and now...I'm here.  I'm here!!!
