Thanks so much KM! Gotta say this gave me a lot to think about (and smile about too   ). The wife and both retire this year. With regard to the forture, I welcome any good fortune that comes my way! Especially since I have one in college for radiology, and the younger (still a junior in high school) is planning on being a doctor of orthopedics specializing in sports medicine. That's a lot of school to pay for! And there is definitely a post retirement change of residence on the horizon- depends on where my little one goes to college. Well, thanks again for the reading! It sits well *takes the cup with a hug*. But I do agree it probably wouldn't hurt to give it a few more days then throw again. Just to see if anything become a bit more clear.

As far as past "love" experiences I have wondered if *I* have been worthy of a lasting love and if it would ever really come to be. (But most of us have wondered this at some point I'm sure.)

Yes, I am still "pure" in the sense of what I want in and from a relationship and a partner.  I do not wish to have the largest house, the nicest car, or the most expensive clothes.  I do wish however for a comfortable life for the most part. I know things will always go up and down, but comfort isn't too much to ask is it?   A decent home, *crosses fingers* not too much debt, and the ability to go on a small vacation at least once a year or so until the family comes along. I am not going to say a nice piece of jewelry or a new dress or jeans would not be icing on the cake, but it will not make or break me.

I am unsure of my beloved other half (Zero) at times but he does give me something to work toward and strive for. All I can do though is hope his intentions and drive are for me as well as the family he wants to someday have. Again though, nothing is ever truly set is stone is it?

On the last two, my mother says I have a heart of gold and not a bad bone in my body when it comes to people.  (A bad kidney I do have but I don't think that counts)  I try to give myself as honestly and freely as I can because that is what I expect to be given in return. An honest relationship be it friendship or otherwise. I think the ability to see the other person's side is difficult when a person is hurt.  (I know I've been on both ends of it) but, it is better in my opinion. To take the experience for what it is.  An experience, a learning and growing phase that will hopefully take you to better things and understandings.

I know most of the post is a little flip-floppy on my end but I just can't look at one side without looking at the other.  I don't think I go in blind so much as hopeful that everything will work out right.
