And througout the woods I hear
Wolves calling my name
Alora will you sing with us
Upon the ending day

And so their song and mine
Could be heard throughout the shire
And I remember the Lyric to their song

Oh We Are The Ones
Whos amber eyes shine so bright
Oh We Are The Ones
Whos song light up the night
Oh We Are The Ones
Whos family bond is so tight
Oh We Are The Ones
Who never let up the Fight!

I sat upon my hill
And listened to the lyrics
Oh what can this little girl
Add to their song?

And So I began to think
Of what to say
And I began to sing
My Humble Reply

Oh I am the one
Whos shining eyes see so much
Oh I am the one
Whos pen reaches where I cannot
Oh I am the one
Whos felt true love and heartbreak
Oh I am the one
Who stands here all alone

And in the distance
Forms began to appear
The singing creatures wanting to
See who was near

Fear I do not
Of the silver beasts before me
They Just wanted
To see the lonesome Bard

We are the ones
Who sing to you
We are the ones
Who hear your song
Oh We are the ones
Who call to you
Oh We are the ones
Who are there when you're alone

And to this day
I stay up at night
To hear the wolf pack
Calling my name

Raise my sword
I do not
For these are my brethren
Since Upon this day!

I wrote this song last fall, I think in august or something like.  I've been going to a lot of LARP's as of late.  As a natural story teller and bard, I've began to perform at certian festivels and gatherings and I always seem to draw a crowd.  I will be recording and doing simple video's for sharing.  There aren't a lot of songs, but I really like them.  I actually wrote this while volunteering at the local casino for a program for disabled children.  They use horseback riding as therapy and I volunteer during the summer with grooming and fundraisers.

I do a lot of volunteer work, but rarely does one give me time to write out a FULL song.

Yes, thank you for sharing.  The poetry is so beautiful!  I love hearing the coy-dogs around here call in the night.
