Novia, I think everyone is sick of winter,  Smile We're going through another winter run this week, though it is warming up, with again the warmest temperature when I'm at work.  Isn't that the way?  The last day I worked, I helped with deliveries, of course during a storm day, but I got through it.  It was really nice meeting different people, and I even got a hug from an elderly lady.  Kudos to her daughter sending her flowers on valentines day.  Flowers sent from absent relatives, lonely wives with their husbands being away, and other people who obviously had touched someones life.  It was an uplifting day.
Novia, take care of your heart.  I've never taken steroids, but I seen some nasty side effects.

So, yesterday I headed over to the little NA shop we have here in town. Lo and behold it is psychic fair day. Rev brings in a few readers, and an aura reader/angel portrait drawer, and yo can pop in to sit with one, reasonable cost. So, Grae, who does the akashic records readings was open, and I had a 30 minute session with her. Basically all that to hear one thing I needed. Get back to the basics. Take time to stop focus on one black spot, and learn to center and shut the universe up for a few to find my 'self' after it seems to have a bad habit of wandering out and getting misplaced in the chaos.

Dear ol' Novia is like the proverbial dropped egg these days, cracked and scrambled!  Laughing

So, back to kindie-garten for this ol bat!

Haha, Novia,  and I thought I was all alone, sitting here in my crazy basket.   Laughing
I know I need to get out of this hole that I dug for myself.  I shouldn't blame others for digging the hole.  I did that myself.  And wallowing in despair doesn't help me.  Hey, I'm intelligent, somewhat pretty, and  everyone else says I'm kind.  Smile
To change the subject...is winter ever going to be over?  We're back in a deep freeze.  Winter started earlier than normal and now seems to be lasting longer than normal.  I might have to bring out another set of grow lights to make myself feel better.  So, if march comes in like a deep freeze, does it mean it will leave warm?  Maybe because it's so still and cold, it will leave, stormy and rainy? Confused
Ok, this year, I'm gardening to my darker nature.  I want to garden plants that are poisonous, cause fits, leave rashes, dillusions, give headaches to those that smell them, etc.  Ok, I will put in plants that heal and nurture (in another garden), but I need to feed my darker side this year, and I want to make that dark garden so pretty, that people feel attracted to it.   I want my darker side, and a stronger side to come out.  Not that my darker side is my stronger side, but I need to look into a darker side, embrace it, and put my strength forward.

Is there anyone else in this boat, or is this crazy weather just hitting New Brunswick, Canada?
Instead of eyeing the garden, waiting for the frost to leave, we are just recovering from a blizzard, with snow up past our windows.  I can't even use my greenhouse yet, it's still so cold.  And we have another huge snowstorm for the weekend.  What are the gods thinking?  I'm sure tempers are flaring, and everyone is going stir crazy.  Well, I'm going stir crazy  Laughing .  Do I take out another grow lite, and hope for the best, or do I just give up, and maybe travel this summer instead.
But maybe, the gods presented me with an opportunity because of my marriage woes.  Maybe I just need to throw all my house plants, garden seedlings in the compost, pack my bags and go.
I picked a card the last couple of days.  The first one was the reverse of logical thinking, and the second one was the reverse of loyalty.  So, I'm impulsive, and not loyal, but maybe I need to be.  Decisions, decisions.  I'm sure I'll find my answer in the next couple of weeks.

You're better off than me.  I can't even plant cold crops yet with 5ft of snow on the ground.  I look ahead on the weather sites, and they're still calling for snow as precipitation, not rain.  Now meterologists are saying something like an abrupt change in our climate???  You think so???(sarcastic)  I wish the scientists would figure out why we're so cold now.  The last 2 winters have been steadily getting colder.  There have been some major earthquakes in the past few years, so I wonder.  In 1816, we didn't have a summer.  It was theorized that it was caused by a volcanic eruption in Indonesia.  There was ice in the rivers here until September, and then because of the warm fall, people thought that they could plant cold crops, but winter arrived early that year and became colder than the year before, thus destroying those crops.
I don't have a good feeling about this.  We had cold temps and snow since November, and it shows no signs of letting up yet.  Seasoned people have run out of fire wood to burn.  I told my husband that we should double our wood order from last year, and add another cord on for the rest of this year, and have it delivered asap so I can start drying it in the house.
I know I sound like someone waiting for a catastrophe, but there is something going on.  It's in my gut.

Evil or Very Mad We've gone from cold to cool/wet. Will someone please turn the water sprinkler system off, they seem to have left the dang thing running, over time!!!

Got the poor garden in, well watered, and then some, got a few blooms coming on, but I fear we are going to go from cool to baking in a nano second here in the Midwest. KC is nearing 5 inches of rain, for JUNE alone. sigh

Our June here has been fairly normal.  Not too much rain, and fairly warm temps.   Actually, I think our temperature was normal for May, but we had so much snow to melt that our area was close to a month behind.
Its funny, in another thread, I said that I didn't think the lunar cycle has an affect on me, but when I can't work in the earth for a long time, I get really flaky Mad
Not that anyone has noticed,    Wink

You wanna know what's sad? We are still in a drought! even with all this rain lately. shakes head oh we dont have to worry about fire this second and all plants nice and green but you gotta be wary of closing you eyes cause next thing you know plants whithered away and fire alerts a ringing.... Mad

I am happy with the rain we've been gettng Papa bunny's not (he hates mowing and the bugs! Shocked ) snickers Im just glad we have only had to go to storm cellar once so  far this season "knocking on wood"

But is it just me that it seems the weather is just off? out of balance compared to the norm when looking at years gone by? or am I imagining it? We need some spells/prayers or whatever for all sides it seems........
hmmm grabbing pen and paper....... Wink

Nope, much like this past winter, the weather is definitely wonky.  Shocked

It is nearly solstice, and we have only hit 90 2x this year. Far behind, not that I'm complaining!!!!

Tilt!!!!  Laughing

I know me myself am on tilt as well lately for some reason. Driving me nuttier than normal! Mad

Haha...glad I'm not the only one noticing the weather change.
Happy Solstice to everyone.
Since I'm working tomorrow, I've decided to celebrate tonight.  After this post, I have to start chopping, cooking, and cleaning.
But, could somebody turn up the heat????
