ASTROLOGY FOR JULY 6TH THRU JULY 12TH

Its summer! And the astrological themes are a good match to our desires to be outside, to be active, and socializing with family and friends.
There is very positive group energy in the cosmos for moving forward a collective goal, for relaxing, socializing and having fun. If you are part of a team
or group with a project or goal, this is a good week to get the gang together, not only to formulate plans but to work together. If your goal is to deepen
emotional bonds between members of a family, clan or team, the energy is equally positive and supportive. Most any group activity will be blessed this week
if individual members value each other and work especially hard to respect differences as contributing to the overall strength and beauty of the group.
I came across a quote this week by Darryl F. Zanuck that puts it into perspective, If two men on the same job agree all the time, then one is useless.
If they disagree all the time, both are useless.
Of note this week are two solar aspects, the first to Pluto on Monday and the second to Uranus next Sunday. Like two bookends framing our week,
these energies challenge our concepts of self, power, and our ability to change and evolve in productive ways. The Plutonian urge to eliminate and transform
is strong on Monday, urging us to consider a serious shift in our personal consciousness.
This is desire to think more deeply is reinforced on Wednesday, when Mercury the planet of thinking enters the emotional and sensitive sign of Cancer.
Thoughts turn to family, home, and domesticity when the thinking planet visits the shores of Cancer where the physical world meets the magical realm of water.
There is more than meets the eye when the rational mind accesses the wisdom of the heart. While Mercury is in Cancer a mere sixteen days our minds are

How is your impulse control? Not so good? Then be extra attentive today. While the Moon in Pisces makes a cozy connection to the Sun in Cancer and Pluto in Capricorn, the energy between the Sun and Pluto is less than friendly. The two are 180 degrees across the cosmos from each other and ready for a sparring match.
This pairing tends to bring out desire and passion and often provides a channel for expressing repressed or hidden agendas. When we act unconsciously it can manifest as heavy-handed attempts to over-control everything and can even turn into outright manipulation of others. The upside is this is the opportunity to feel more connected to our true desires and awake to the distractions that are keeping us from finding greater fulfillment. Although Aries likes to be first and thrives on independence, there are times when the warrior realizes there is more to be gained through collaboration than by going it alone. Taking turns being the leader or a willingness to give credit where credit is due, to a hard-working colleague or co-worker helps insure your success as well. However, and its a big, however, we are moving towards a scrappy connection between Mercury and Saturn this evening. In this scuffle its hard to imagine a clear winner.
