I updated the server to make things faster and more secure.  Sadly though my backup was a few days old, sorry for the loss of info, hopefully it won't happen again!

grins no problem I figured it was something like that or similar. Actually didn't lose but  at most a month worth. (THANK GOODNESS) I have had wow like 3 sites? I had been a member of that when it happened they broke and never came back...

Just thankful (To all!) stop...I'm shutting up so I don't jinx things!

9 years, 3 months, and 8 days since I popped into the Cuppa to have a sit and chat.
I know most likely there'll be another visitor at the Cuppa. For now, I'll chat with my Self, and the spiritis of old friends.
Listening to the thindes this evening, as we have yet more rain fall. They say KC is well above average now in rainfall, with lots of flash flooding going on. Feast or Famine in the water department anymore, sheesh!
Lots of things have changed since I last visited.

Job change, for the better, sorta. Still a gatekeeper though.  
Making some changes about the house. Re-doing time in life again. Re-newing.

We need to send out a call (find a way?) to try and get some old members to come (back!) to meet for a cuppa and some veggie goodies to sit and chat a few moments... I usually am here daily just for a few moments.... all but the weekends unless hubby is off or there is doc appointments. LOL I use to think I was this real 70'a free spirit I so am NOT! I have such a strict (OCD) regime I do that it makes me laugh (now that I know!) LOL I boot up, go straight to yahoo mail, then open my tarot folder that has my sites I post on. Orbis is first, then Soul Development (from Eng) then Onestopwitchshop (KY), then there are 3 smaller ones I use their sites as a journal type storage. And man you have had a lot of rain up there, its all running down south to here! ? As if we need it either, like you said its always either famine or faste. snickers. A gatekeeper huh? Well that's a noble burden! I don't know what I am really.. I like to think I am the historian but not 100% sure if I count that way. And house redoing? Oh scary. Could be loads of fun but also can be so much more that what ones thinks its going to be. Are you just re doing the interior? Or??? Hubby always hated when I got into that groove. The walls never stayed the same color more than a month for some time till health kinda shut me down. He was thoroughly frustrated with me for quite some time! hahahahahhaa well him and the kids I wrangled into helping me. ROFL so whatcha doing? (whatever it is go with purple.) that's always a good fix. Purple is a magical color. will be waiting with honeyed carrot coins and large batch of coffee reading for you! Big fat purple bunny crooking finger "come ere" as she laughingly rolls away to the coffee pot...  

We are creatures of habit aren't both good and bad sometimes, sad to say.
I'm not really a purple girl, but you rock it if you like!  I'm more of a green gal   It takes a box of rainbow colored crayons to paint the Universe! (Color)
I'm usually on more in the evenings, after hubby goes to bed. Which is where I need to be heading. extra tired these past few days.

Work funny/oddity. The bosses boss comes in today, for some reason, no biggie, he's 'plain folk'. LOL Christmas card was the family photo thing, with him wearing a blonde mullet wig in a Lumber Jack red plaid flannel shirt! Rockin' it too!  
so as he's leaving, per norm, he usually tells me to keep the bossman outta trouble. Today it was 'Don't let him do anything too crazy' and wouldn't go out the door until I acknowledged OK   , so now, I'm the caretaker of the dang boss, per his boss, ROFMAO How does one exactly phrase that in one's resume'? :idea:

Wow that would be hard to word to put in your resume! Have to really work on the wording of it but lets hope you don't wind up having too much trouble containing him and keeping him from causing too much chaos. LOL DO ya feel like your babysitting kids again like when you were a teen? At least then we could whoop their butts. snickers I know what you mean on the computer I had typed up 3 times a message back to you and it wouldn't accept the post! I keep having to reboot my computer I think its almost that time of year for my yearly shopping trip to the wholesale computer store. I'm gonna keep holding off for as long as I can but... paws crossed it puttering on!    Hubby is home for the holiday so he wont be going back to work till Tuesday so I will be off and on till then so...(Will be on as much as possible!)  

I am def a sitter of over-grown children for sure! I tell them, it's like working with a 2 year old sometimes.

I spent the day yesterday vaccuming my dang dust bowl of a house! No wonder my allergies kick my ass, shame on me!   Sad to say, but gladly hubby had to work yesterday so I got a whole day all by myself! woot woot! Luvs him dearly but sometimes it's nice to have alone time.  

Getting ready to head in to work shortly too see just what chaos was created yesterday by the flooring dudes tearing out the carpeting and putting down laminated wood. They thought a day for tear out, yeah right! 90's carpet, glued to concrete. Big Bobs flooring guys had no idea what they were in store for.   I'm liable to be sitting ON my desk answering the phones I fear.

We had to go buy a new wishy-washer Sunday. Worked Sat, died Sun.


Guess we are preparing for more storms/rain. At this rate we are all going to grow webbed feet and start quacking!   Air's so thick you can just about wring the water right out of it!

Well hell, hi ho hi ho it's off to work I go!

Sounds like the riding mower hubby bought. spent big bucks used it 3 times ONLY then it goes out and still waiting for it to get fixed! Blah frustrating. Thank goodness, knock on wood have fairly new washer, dryer and hot water tank (just recently replaced) I hate it when the big appliances go out. Especially the AIR CONDITIONERS! Horror of horrors! Now that one I cant do without. My M.S. HATES the heat. Well, its a good thing hubby isn't to fussy about all the dust here it gets dusted and swept very infrequently. I really, really need to do that tho. The room that needs it the most is the bird room! Now that room is horrifically in need of a good vacuuming.  But ughhh housework is as bad as cooking... pouts. I went thru the house cleaning stage earning money to help us out back when I worked. I don't DO THAT now a days. Just basics. The stuff right around me, the dish's once a day and fold up any  cloths he puts on bathroom counter after he wash's and dries them. LOl I was not the best housewife when he married me so I tell him that often that he went ahead and married me anyway~   No, we need to think of some magical stuff to occupy our time once this other stuff is done... problem is picking one out. For me it will be tomorrow once these last bits of storms are out of here tonight. So far all my magic has been weather related it seems! I am worn out! I don't know how you deal with all those grown 2 yr olds. I would snap and wind up in jail for knocking their heads together knowing me. hahahahahaha your a more patient gal than I am!  :roll:  

Oh believe you me they test it on a daily basis! I also have to remind them generally on a daily basis the I DO have bail $$$!!!! They haven't decided if I'm kidding or not, and opt to not press their luck thus far!  


Well, our floors are still not yet done! 8 days until our bottom trim come in to even put on. The correct border flooring has still not yet arrived, so the hall is not yet done. I spent an hour and a half on Friday putting sticky notes on walls, and items to let the furniture mover know what went where. They didn't do too bad! Except the bosses office they didn't get one single piece in the right place lol Even with ump-teem pictured even sticky notes!

I have been tackling the cleaning thing a tad bit at a time. Even working in some painting! Go me!!!!!  

Yeah! (for the painting part~ I haven't got diddly squat done) daughter has  used movers often she works for Hershey's and has had to move several times and I just can not picture it. I have lived in a total of 5 houses (including here) in my entire life~  and job wise? Well, lets see out of 6? jobs in my entire life only one had major renovation done while I was there that I was a part of. All I can say is you got WAYYYY more patience than I have ever had or ever will! LOL My patience level is better now than what it was when I was younger but still not near as good as yours is! shudders makes ya wanna pull their arms off and beat them with the bloody end of it heh?    You could always tell them that at one of the makeup places told you that you could "rock the orange" jumpsuit... snickers. really make them worry!    man, I have so much I need to get done or even started on don't know where to even start! Kinda stops you before you even get started even. shakes head...  

guess what...them damn things still ain't **ckin done! Pardon my french!    (pullhair) The trim that got stuck in flooding finally showed up earlier this week, and the guys were SUPPOSED to be in Wed but their boss had no clue why they didn't to the floors of the last hallway, not even prep work! SUPPOSED to be in this evening, we shall see!!!!

I know that feeling. I can't find a starting spot, because it's all one big spot! run together, melded into one near sentient being, taking on a life of it's own!  

I am a master of patience, MOST of the time, otherwise, well it wouldn't be purty!   My boss has figured out my 'tell' of when I'm nearing my end, and sometimes I just let him know, fix it! and he does.

man that would be sooo frustrating! I finally got to see main heart doc Friday and I have 24 yrs left! (give or take) So should be roughly around 70 before need it redone... yeahhhh! Now to make sure I don't need any surgeries for anything else! BUT still have made no headway with that blasted billing company though the insurance and Medicare both show I shouldn't owe anything even with hubby being quite scary no give a tall! so I am going to set my intentions tonight, and start a hoodoo spell specifically for them and hope to blast things back inline around here! If you need me to will do one for that group up there if you wish? Energies should be good for another day or 2 after tonight.. will be glad to bash em for ya!!!! Just let me know~ :roll: (One way to let steam off yes?)
