My parents' unexplained experience
When my parents were dating back in the early 90s, they went on a weekend getaway to a lakeside resort in Nova Scotia. It was extremely old, and outdated, but my parents liked that vibe-it gave the place personality.

On their last night there, my mom had an extremely vivid dream. In the dream, a young girl came to her pleading for help (she wasn't saying anything to my mom, but the message was conveyed in her facial expression). The girl was also dripping wet, as if she just was submerged in water. My mom felt this strong urge to figure out what she needed help with, and actually woke up from her dream feeling this urgency still. When she woke up though, she realized my dad wasn't in bed next to her.

Mom got out of bed and started looking around the cabin for my dad when she finally found him at the sliding back doors (that led to the back of the property which faces the lake). He had opened one of the doors, and was in the middle of putting his shoes on, dressed in his pyjamas. She tried asking him what he was doing-but he didn't answer. After calling his name a few more times with no response she went up to him and had to shake him awake, realizing he was sleepwalking (my dad is not a sleepwalker and to this day, this was the only time he was caught sleepwalking).

He woke up obviously confused but said he was having a really weird vivid dream and in the dream, felt like he needed to go outside to check on the property. So its either weird coincidence that my parents both had an extremely vivid dream at the same time, or something else was at play.

The next morning when they were checking out they inquired about the history of the property. After some discussion, the receptionist revealed that other guests have also asked about the same thing, shared some unexplained/paranormal things that happened during their stay. Turns out the lodge is known to be haunted, which my parents only found out at the end of the stay. A common sighting is a "ghost sailboat" which appears in the nighttime. It's usually seen as a light floating on the lake, or a faint outline of a boat but as it approaches closer, fades from view.

I still wonder who the girl in my mom's dream was.

Primrose

The Primrose is another spring flower which it was felt unlucky to bring indoors in a quantity less than thirteen, for fear that less would limit the number of eggs or chicks from poultry.

However, in larger bunches they were welcome. The flowers were said to protect against evil spirits and Witches, although once again I can't say my Craft has suffered in any way from Primrose!

Primroses have long been associated with children, it being said that placing the dried  flowers in a child's pillow would ensure their respect. Keeping the plant in flower on the window sill is also said to encourage their sleep and to guarantee pleasant dreams The plant does have sedative properties and an infusion of the flowers can be used to calm the nerves. The roots are infused as a headache cure, although they can also be sued as an emetic it is wise to make the solution a weak one. Primroses used to be used in cooking as well as medicine, the petals being added to rice, floated on soup or crystallized as cake decorations.

Primroses in the garden are said to be protective, especially as they are favored by the fairies, who look kindly on those who grow them. Wearing the flower is said to attract love, although in some places it used to be considered the signs of a wanton.

The Primrose is used in spells to attract love, and for the protection of a loved one. Place a pressed Primrose flower in the front of the care of someone you care for to ensure safe journeys.

My 1991 experience -unexpected noise in classroom

In the summer of 1991, while walking home with a close friend. I found out I forgot my water bottle in class. We were 9 years old at this time, in 3rd grade. Children this age often brought water bottles to class, there was no free drinking water available like now.

I had to borrow the key from the school guard to open the classroom. The old woman did not forget to tell me to lock the classroom door and return the key to her.

I remember that evening was around 5:30 pm, when I opened the door to the classroom, I heard a series of singing voices overlapping each other, like a choir.

I thought it was because the school guard's son turned on the radio (she had a son , married , had a house on the campus of primary school ). But when I poked my neck out of the room, it was dead silent outside. And when I entered the room, the horrible singing continued. So I ran away, ran at full speed. Forgot both the water bottle and the key.

Later, when I grew up, I learned that the elementary school was built on the foundation of an old cemetery.

apology, English is not my native.

Mom always say I can feel sense of spirits around. Hope I can hear same stories from you guys. I had bad experience with school places, temples .Church

Nettles

Nettles are greatly underestimated, and usually rooted out by most gardeners.

The young tops are goof to eat and are rich in iron and other minerals. Once cooked or dried they lose their sting, and can be used in savory dishes in much the same way as spinach, or made into soup. Baked with sugar, Nettles were reputed to enliven the spirits. Dried Nettles, so long as they retain their green color, can be used as a harmless replacement for salt.

Nettle stings were used to relieve rheumatic pains and to reduce chills, Freshly-cut Nettles can be placed under the sick bed to hasten recovery. Nettle juice is helpful in stopping bleeding, being added to a dressing or even taken internally. It is also used in cases of asthma and other chest complaints. Cooked and cooled Nettles can be used as a face pack, and an infusion makes an excellent hair rinse.

Magically they are used in healing, defense and protection spells. Placed in a charm bag Nettles will keep negativity and fear at bay, and are said to remove curses by returning them to the sender. Sprinkle Nettles around the house for protection against negative thoughts and lightening. Nettles can also be added to the bath for added protection when working defensive magic, or prior to working on the Astral plane. Most people know that Nettle stings are eased by rubbing with a dock leaf, but to increase its efficacy you should recite the following spell: "Dock in, nettle out, dock rub nettle out." But it is not well known that the juice of the nettle is even more effective than dock.

OSTED UNDER EARTH, GARDEN, WATER
Spell: An Earth Day Ritual

APRIL 22, 2023

Color of the Day
BLUE

Incense of the Day
PATCHOULI

This ritual serves to remind us how the seed and the earth are connected, and how it has been so for eons. You’ll need a pot, some potting soil, and some easy-to-grow seeds that are tolerant of cool weather, such as dill or lettuce. If you have a garden, you may sow your seeds directly into it. Begin by filling the pot with potting soil or prepare a small plot of the garden for outdoor planting. Plant your seeds according to package directions.

Water the seeds and say:
The seed is the child,
The earth is its mother.
I return the seeds to the
mother’s womb,
The seed and the earth are
bound together forever.

As you observe Earth Day, remember this endless cycle of life. Seeds sprout, plants grow, and more seeds are produced and return to the earth again. As you tend your seeds, indoors or outside, be mindful of this cycle.

Was It Sleep Paralysis or Something Else?

I hoped this doesn't get taken down due to R.4 but I believe this wasn't a sleep paralyze. I (25M) want to share a strange event that occurred to me back in 2013 that till this day, it keeps me wondering what really happened on that night. It's the only experience I that felt paranormal or not natural to me.

One night, I suddenly woke up in the middle of the night. I tried to go back to sleep but as I was laying in my bed facing the ceiling, I just felt this strange feeling as if someone or something was looking at me. I felt really uneasy but tried to shook it off as maybe it was my mind playing tricks. But when I slowly turned my head to the right, facing the door, across my room and there is where I saw it. At the corner of my room beside the door, I saw a shadowy/dark silhouette standing there with 2 red glowing dots that seemed to be its eyes looking straight at me. I began to freak out and I tried to put on my glasses on to see if I was seeing what I was seeing. But before that could happen, out of nowhere, this thing jumps right on top of my chest and felt this heavy weight on top of me. My body suddenly became paralyze. I couldn't move at all and I was having trouble breathing. I was so scared as I was looking straight at its face but only could see those 2 red evil glowing eyes.

I remember that I closed my eyes and barely mutter "In Jesus name, I demand you to go away!". After I said those lines, I remember I open my eyes and didn't see that shadow person anymore and felt that I could move again. I quickly got up and turned my lights on. I was drenched in sweat and fear and was wondering what the hell just happened. Was it a demon? Was it a nightmare? I was so freaked out that I decided to sleep the rest of night with my lights on LOL.

But it gets a little crazy from here. The next morning during breakfast with my mom. I was ready to tell her of what happened last night. But before I could tell her my story, she began telling me that something strange happened to her last night. I began freaking out again when she described the same thing that I saw that night. She said that she also felt this dark presence in her room and when she looked at the corner of her room, there it was just standing there and looking at her. She said that it was just standing there for a good minute before it suddenly vanished. She thought it was only a nightmare until I began to explain to her that I also saw the damn thing too. Not only that but it also attacked me and paralyzed me. Nothing strange happened after that night or anything related to paranormal. I do believe that there's power in Jesus name and this entities tremble before his name.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Stay safe and have a great day!

Waze made an impossible warning

2 of my friends spent the entire day at the beach. One of them suffered a panic attack, vomiting and other medical symptoms from alcohol and marihuana consumption along with probable dehydration, so after a while they decided to head back to the apartment.

The guy that was ok didn't know how to drive so unfortunately the distressed one took the wheel. When he turned the engine on, Waze app literally said "I have a bad feeling about this trip". This was heard by both of them, both of them looked at each other instantly, and both of them completely froze. They decided to wait there for hours until another friend arrived on foot and who was able to drive.

Waze has no such warning by default and my friend didn't edit any of the default warnings.

Not made up, believe what you want.
