I Am Grateful for...

My husband, unconditionally, for his willingness to grow, his strong efforts to provide for us and his learning how to dream.

My stepchildren and the gift they have each been in my life.

The money, oh the money that we finally received this week to pay many an over due bill.

My instructor, for understanding that I can no longer go to school full-time so that I can go to work.

The fabulous new job I have and the opportunity it provides me to expand my skills and learn and grow as a human bean!

Most of all, I am grateful for Ann, my love muffin, my peanut head, my fellow weenus heart, the most blessed and beautiful friend a girl could EVER have. She's my BFF!

Weeeee! I have gas in my car, money in my pocket and a truly grateful heart.

I am grateful every day for my three wonderful grown children who throughout good times and bad remain faithful at my side with love and support. I will have all three here for dinner tomorrow and I feel truly blessed.

I'm grateful for the sun, shining thru my danglies, creating wonderful dancing rainbows around my room as the fan wiggles them around.

I am grateful for the morning, being able to enjoy my coffee, and my morning ritual and meditation in peace...in the wonderful morning air....feeling the warmth of the sun as he peeks his head up from his slumber....the songs of birds....the smiles of my puppy....and the wonderful messages coming from the candle I just lit.....it is going to be a beautiful day....thank you.....

I am grateful that despite financial hardships I am able to keep my spirits up and nothing can affect my faith in my guardian angel to help see me through. As long as we have our faith!!! :!:

I'm grateful for the return of the cool fall temperatures and the break in the summer heat in the season of fall.

Near record heat, actually set records a couple days, for three days, back to normal now. Thank the God/dess! 95 in October, who'da thunk it!!!

This is for yestrday:

"I am grateful today for the beach.. The ocean, the sand, the shells, the creatures, the waves and the seabreeze. I felt so alive today looking out to sea, on a 90 mile stretch of beach looking both ways and seeing nobody but myself and Nathan. It was fantastic and so calming."

This is for today:

"I am grateful today for my massage from my partner. It was very relaxing."

I am grateful today for two things:

1. For spring, my pink roses are now blooming and they smell so wonderful!

2. The Internet hehe, yeah I know BUT I am having a wiccan themed quilt made up and I went looking for pagan quilt patterns and found some! YAY!

Merry Meet All!

What am I grateful for today???

I am alive....the way my family is dropping like flies lately, that is definitely something I need to not take for granted.

I have good basic health.

I have shelter, food, steady income and a safe environment.

I have the blessing of loving and supportive friends all around me.

I have a second chance to re-join my family...I do not have to be an outcast, whether self-made or not.

I have family that wants to have me in their hearts and lives.

I have a good job with great co-workers and a boss that really and truly supports her staff.

I have the job I was meant to have, healing bodies and hearts and spirits in the intensive care unit of a large teaching hospital.

I have had the luxury to be able to select a few of my sisters' treasures to remember them by, items that remind me of their love of life and their laughter.

I am blessed to live in a land where I can worship as I see fit and don't have to do so in fear, or in secrecy.

I have my little furbaby, Jezebel, to purr her way into my heart and comfort me, or is she just trying to talk me into dishing out more edible goodies???? Nah....I have her unconditional furbaby love to lighten my days and mights.

I could go on and on. I think that all too often, we overlook all that we have to be thankful for in our daily lives. Too often we "save" our gratitude for the big things, when we are constantly surrounded by smaller, more "mundane" blessings each and every day of our lives.

Thank you for this opportunity to remember and to share about gratutude today!
